Are there parameters to change in the lyrics so that automation happens and lyrics can be followed, or is it only manual like that, btw this is kick ass! Renoise is best tracker!
You need to automate the lines to go back in time, and "recycle" lyrics like that. Typically you put a marker in your daw (4 different) methods, then the notes will trigger the phonemes on each line in succession. It cant be magically synchronized since the VST/AU/RTAS/AAX dont have a way to "read the timeline" only the current slice. Once you know that and work this way its second nature. Even adds more flexibily (as the recycling of lyrics you are seeing here)
Check the video at 14sec. track 1 on the left side, called CHIP speech. Note A-3 played with 00 instrument (chipspeech instance). M0 in the panning column means a midi message, controller change in this case. 200 in the effect column means 00 message to controller 2. This command switches between sentences in chipcrusher. Another example is at 40sec where we switch to sentence 05, etc, etc. This is similar to using a midi keyboard and sending midi cc messages with a knob or fader, in Renoise you do it in the patterns.
