WOW you got 'The Graduate' John! The best, hope you love it. It's such a time capsule of a great period in Americana. Dustin Hofmann looks so young in it!
Never made a post, just occasionally browse. Had no idea there was a half price Criterion sale- I'll definitely go back for that, I've been holding off buying Brazil on regular blu-ray so I can get the Criterion version. And I'm with ya, I really gotta open my mind to less mainstream movies. A big part of it is the places I usually go to primarily have mainstream movies (we really need an Amoeba around here). And I will check those movies out- thanks for watching!
Nice finds John. I really loved Bernie and also Dodgeball..... You've inspired me to look for Money around the house that I might have forgot about. :) KB
I would have to say the 2 Jason's at Cackalacky Movie Madness were the first guys I saw making dvd and bluray shopping videos. I had seen Coolduder, and Zaranyzerak even before Coolduder, but the Cackalacky guys were the first that I ever saw posting videos of dvd and bluray shopping
Hey john just wanted to say your videos are awesome and I have recently bought a bluray player and and hopefully when I get enough I will try to start a channel thanks for the videos you guys are a big inspiration :)
Do you post on Blu-ray.com, or just browse? I hope you go back to B&N for the late October / Early November half price Criterion sale. Perhaps this is a little rude, but I'd love to see you guys picking up some less mainstream titles from time to time, and hearing your impressions. I would love to hear what you guys thought of something really out there, like House, or Marketa Lazarova. Eyes Without A Face is out just prior to the sale, and it's amazing!
You need to get another shelf so we can have new videos. Coolduder needs to make a video on why he started and what or who inspired him, good question. I watched coolduder vids pre MJ probably.
Whats even crazier is the video of you explaining what happened and how fun it was has been deleted as well, I could swear I few years ago this channel had 159 videos, then it went 157, 155 and now 152
great video i definitly want to check out the $5 section at best buy if mine has it cuz i havent gotten a bluray in a couple weeks and i need a fix lol
Great video man a lot of really great titles. It is crazy how book stores jack up the prices on Blu-rays. I get most of them are around 30-50% off, but still somebody needs to tell them it's not 2009. New Blu-rays aren't worth $45 lol.
Another great vid as always! $54.99 for Star Trek into darkness 3d blu ray combo pack?!!!! Seriously?! That's twice the price as what Walmart and best buy is charging it for. Hey U Dennis and Ryan should do a movie night for the first marine movie starring john cena. I think u will love it. It's full of non stop action!
Hey john, there's a new $5 blu ray section at Walmart and they have both fantastic four movies, everyone 's hero that animated movie you've been tempting on getting in the past, the first dr. Dolittle movie and many others for $5! U should Make another video for that (:
Okay, you inspired me to check all the drawers in my house. Erm...I found a broken hairbrush, half a melted candy bar and a sketch of a penis I drew four years ago. Dammit. Excellent video good sir, very enjoyable as always! :) Chris.
Ha I was going to guess Coraline, unfortunately it is the easiest AA gold to find, they are all hard to find but Coraline is the easiest, most slips being sold from 5-7 bucks.
Well at that time I was watching Shawn and MJ walking around town, doing random things. My friend and I wanted to do something like that, but we needed to do something else, and then we came up with that idea to go DVD shopping. I was also the first to do an unboxing :) After that DVDem startede, then Wetmovie1 ua-cam.com/video/Gv9X_75RKgQ/v-deo.html

I'm thinking so too, and if not, he definitely popularized it.
If you're referring to the one on the top shelf- that's Coraline, and yes it's the Academy Award version. Please tell me it's rare...
Hey john just wanted to say your videos are awesome and I have recently bought a bluray player and and hopefully when I get enough I will try to start a channel thanks for the videos you guys are a big inspiration :)

Ah, very true. May do some research later. Thanks for watching.

John is that an AA gold slipcover? if so what movie? also EVERY Blu-ray transfer is better then any DVD picture quality.. don't ever forget that :)
great vid great pickups i need to find T3
i think it was coolduder/wetmovie1 who made it a cult trend to do movie collection videos, but we may never know lol
I actually saw that! It was at a farther Walmart though, so hopefully I can get out there again and film.

I love your videos bro! great stuff! Very entertaining!
I do "the forgotten money" too. Work every time.
I know! It always puts me in a good mood.
Yeah, your first vid may one of the first! What inspired you to do that?
" we are all weirdos" yea, I can concur lol.
Just re-watched it recently (will be a movie night on WM2 in the future), you're right- I was laughing throughout the whole movie.
great video John. Do you plan on doing a blu ray colletion over view some time in the future?
Thanks for watching!
Nice pick ups, cast away is awesome
Pulp Fiction Slip is becoming hard to find these days. I wouldn't consider it rare just yet, but it should get to that point eventually
Finding money you forgot about is like winning a really small lotto. Please tell me you made it rain them rolled in it?
Lol, good luck sir! And I hope film school is going well!
Oh yeah! If it stays there for awhile and all the movies last, I may eventually buy them all!
I know the feeling- I had it myself. If you find one, it'll hold you over for awhile :) Thanks for watching.
Congrats on uploading this one !
Tis! Glad you think so.
wow awesome stuff buddy. i feel ya on the not buying blu rays thing. I haven't been in the game for a long time

Lol, yeah maybe that's too harsh. I just miss Arnold I guess- the CGI one didn't cut it for me.
I know! Redonkulous. And I'll check that out!

Did you make your money rain before you left?
Okay, you inspired me to check all the drawers in my house. Erm...I found a broken hairbrush, half a melted candy bar and a sketch of a penis I drew four years ago. Dammit. Excellent video good sir, very enjoyable as always! :) Chris.
Not a bad idea! I gotta find some Kwanza movies.
Tis! And better! I converted the money to coins and made an Uncle Scrooge pool.
Cast Away transfer is fine in my opinion.
Agreed!
Bernie is $1.25 here in Dollar Tree Canada
I did, and I'm planning on converting it all to pennies and making an Uncle Scrooge-esque pool of money :)
Interesting intro. Like it :)
Word! It's a good place to have a gift card to.
Ha I was going to guess Coraline, unfortunately it is the easiest AA gold to find, they are all hard to find but Coraline is the easiest, most slips being sold from 5-7 bucks.
