Great video. I've just ordered the Synapse 19. I hope it can be comfortable for a dayhike. If not, I'll get the Daylight Tom Bihn. Do you use the Daylight at all nowadays?
I definitely use the daylight backpack from time to time, but I feel like I'm rarely in situations where I'd rather take that over my synapse 19. Even now, I'm using the synapse in a onebag, and that's generally when space is at its most premium.
@@AndyModellBackpacksNoted. Do you used the optional frame insert for the S19? They don’t sell it anymore, so hopefully it won’t make or break comfort.
Pilot G2 and Schwab card, a man of class I see. I’m shocked that you’re using Peak Design Travel Pack instead of a Goruck or some other bag that you’ve reviewed. The Peak Design Pack backpack straps are terrible.
I like to have a hip belt and external water bottle pockets at the same time… gorucks don’t really make that possible. And as I said, idk why, but the bag feels really good on my back.

One problem with your set up is you have to open your bag and dig around to get your liquids out.
That’s a good point. Depending on the airport, that might be difficult

When I’m not traveling, I do use it. For this trip, I’ll be going without.
