- I decided to go into Pisgah and see the aftermath of tropical storm Fred, and to really find out what you are able to access,
as of now. Tons of debris, and the severity of the storm was quite evident. All of the high access points are stationed with rangers, I was lucky enough to have the ranger at sliding rock take my camera and get some close up views of the lower area that we cant access. Man I have so many memories at sliding rock as a kid. Nothing better than hitting that frigid pool!
Yeah, i think a lot of us have some fond memories there. We use to go as kids and wear wetsuits. Wasnt a parking lot or anything i dont think.

I bet they won't be doing any fall stocking this year, hopefully they can get mostly back up to steam for spring. Its all so sad so much destruction,we will likely see far worse in out lifetimes the way things are going.
Agreed. I was hoping to fly the drone to the hatchery this day,But had some technical dificulties.
