This is my first wargame! I was a tabletop RPG player for years, and now I'm ready to dip my toes into wargames. Love this ruleset (although I've already made a few homebrew rules when I play with friends, haha).
I'm really looking forward to meeting you at the Spiel on Friday. You are the highlight for me there. Best regards and see you on Friday. Best regards Heiko
This may be covered here, I've just started watching the vid. I really like that you are aiming to increase army uniqueness! The largest problem I found in my exploration of OPR is that the lore feels very Warhammer with the serial numbers filed off. In fact, the lore in my group tends to be the Warhammer lore for the models we buy and play with! The mechanics don't always support a thematic differentiation between armies, though (Warhammer or OPR lore). I say keep it up! Make the games feel unique, standalone, not Warhammer-lite! I wholly support your ongoing efforts to carve your own niche into the gaming world!!
Just one question regarding a combination of things. Ambush is not within 9" according to rulebook (3.4.0) and Slow (my stitched zombies for instance) can't charge more than 8". Does this mean all slow armies don't need to pay for ambush anymore unless they're shooting?
Rules update starts at 25:48
Thank you
It sucks that the 10mm rules are on hold but I appreciate the honesty and would rather wait for it to be good than just see it pushed out.
I must say its refreshing to hear how passionate you guys are especially tano. Thank you for truly focusing on the game. Long live king tano!
OMG all the updates sound amazing. Very impressed. Keep up the great work.
One *hell* of an update. Always stoked to see the rats get some love.
Cool update on Gangs! HDF looking pretty sweet too.

Don't think you've read the lore then...

I think they just added summoning. And called it living spells. Final fantasy 7 fire fight team in my future lol
everything about tournaments is pointless because you can pay and do the army list with whatever stats you want.
