What are your favorite coloring supplies?
Colored pencils, gel pens, glitter gel pens, and colored pencil paper!!

Brutfuners, Color it gel pens, Inktense, Prisma's, Ateza paints and pencils. I have more that I have not used yet.😆😁
Brutfuner 120 Square, and oil pastels.
I love my dahle 133 sharpener. The best one I ever had. You can choose how sharp the pencil should be and works so smooth. I would buy it over and over again.
Also I love Distress Crayons bx Tim Holtz which are water soluable...
I like Stickles, but I really love ModPodge Extreme Glitter. It dries clear, so the color and shading of your pencils shows through, but it adds a lot of shine and glitter. It's really pretty. It doesn't add as much bulk as the Stickles, either. I just apply it with a brush or q-tip.

Thanks for the tip about different pencils for different books, i haven't get many of either yet but i am thinking of getting a big set of pencils x

The Jane Davenport Minerals Eyes pan pastels are the only pastels of that type I own. But they make lovely soft, shimmering backgrounds on colouring pages. Definitely not just for eyes. I also have some of her batons, and I have eye shadow applicators. The batons have the edge. They work really nicely and I can wash them out and go again. So far I've only used 1 from the packet. 4 colours per wand, and then wash. If they appear in a sale, try some. I would love the other sets, but they aren't readily available in the UK.

So far, Crayola SuperTips, Bic Markit Ultra Fine point markers, Ohuhu Brush Markers, Colorit gel pens, Brutfuner Squares, Crayola 150 colored pencil set(Walmart sells them); and Derwent Drawing, Spectrum Noir ColourTints, Prismacolor Premier 72, Prismacolor Scholars 60, Marco Raffines, Marco Pastels, Black Widow sets and acrylic paints/paint pens. Am experimenting with watercolor and water based brush pens too.
Sometimes I also just use my various hues of sepia tinted graphite pencils and Faber Castell Pitt pens when I want a sepia/aged simple colour scheme(all reddishy browns and shading).

Hi Madeline! I'm a Prisma Snob too!! Those are always the first I reach for. But, I love my Square Brutfuners as well to use sometimes. All of the pencils have a time and place to use them. Love my Pencil cases I got. Was thinking of maybe getting a rolled up one. Wasn't sure about them. Those look like nice markers. Was thinking of trying those too. But markers scare me. lol. I need those Erasers. I'm always going out of the line with my coloring. I do love Gel Pens. Oh Boy, am I going to have to try Stickles next? :) Love video's like this. Coloring while watching. :)
I would love to see your favorite printer on these videos as you print onto your special papers a lot. I would really love a tutorial on how to print on thicker paper on your printer!! Also, does the ink jet work for coloring pages, especially if using markers, or do you need a laser style printer for that? Do you use an ink jet?

Hi! I got all my stickles and liquid pearls from Michael's and Joanns and found that the newer batches have the names on the packaging. I can't say if that's the case for buying them at both stores, though. I've never purchased them open stock as I didn't know that was an option. Thank you for the info!

Got the mungo pastels, thanks! I’m working on a circle of life limited palette challenge and using pastels for the background. I only have a koss 12 set. Not enough. Mungo is affordable. I used your link.

I just paid 70.00 for the 150. I'm a beginner but Prismacolor has been around so went with it.
I don't understand why one would buy set after set. Just for fun? Which is OK for sure but.....
So up until recently, the only colored pencils I’ve ever used have been the crayola. I bought the brutfruner (spelling?) and I also got some Fabre-castells (spelling?) I just don’t like the texture as much. I feel like the crayola are so creamy and smooth. The others I feel are more stiff. Is this pretty common with higher quality pencils?
Hi! The Faber Castell Polychromos are oil based and so are stiffer than wax based pencils. I believe the others you mentioned are wax based, too. This harder lead keeps a point longer and is good for finer details.
The wax based are softer and tend to lay down color more easily, but they dull faster and have to be sharpened more often, don't hold a point, and aren't always the best choice for fine details.

Your channel is one of the best channels I love. My question with the paper you are talking about on tonight info what paper to get for printers for 8 1/2 by 12 paper? I have the Arteza 9 1/2 by 11 what's your suggestion
Sometime you have to cut the paper to size if that answers your question?

I have ordered the Springhill paper because of your recommendation but I have the problem that the toner does not hold up well. It smudges when I go over it with my finger or hand. I tried do print color swatch charts. Do you have any idea why this happens and what I can do about it to come over this problem?
You said toner do I’m assuming you’re using a laser printer?

It would be nice if after showing us all your supplies, you would do videos where you actually use these supplies, and do some coloring in various books. You are great at helping us get supplies that work, but now what do we do with them once we have them. Thank you
I’ve used these supplies in several videos actually. If you go back in my channel and look through some tutorials you will see I’ve shown all these supplies in one video or another. I’ve used the pastels in background tutorials. I’ve used the erasers and sharpener in several videos. I’ve used my Prismacolors and my Brutfuner (I have an entire playlist for both). I used my gel pens in plenty of videos as well as the Stickles. What did you see that you haven’t seen in previous videos?

Not sure if you realised that you said your Ohuhu markers have a bullet tip when it was actually a chisel tip.
I make a mistake of words quite often. Usually I catch it and edit it out. Thank you for mentioning this. I went through so much trying to get this video up. The first time I filmed the entire thing, my SD card had a corrupt file. I had to go back and pull all my supplies back out again and refilm the second half of the video. Then I only had a couple hours to get the entire video edited and up by today. I am just glad I made my deadline and had the video up and ready for the live premiere tonight just as I'd planned.
