schikuji3997 That’s what I’m wondering. Assuming they aren’t related you could say that in botw the designs for the shrines were inspired by the God tower design from Wind Waker and in WW they say the Gods made the tower not sheikah.

I think it's more like "Hey remember that neat little detail we put into a past game? Let's do it again and see if anyone notices it!"
Which is still pretty awesome. It's great how minuscule things people barely notice in one game can be referenced or expanded upon in another over a decade later.

Well hyrule is siting on a rock with a long path leading to it. Its morre than likely that the tower of the gods is attached to the temple of tome where the master sword now resides. This is similar to breath of the wild where the busted up church is the same or similar distance from hyrule castle. BOTW 2 may be hyrule castle rising up so you can male your way backwards to the great plateau, where underneath lies the temple of time, similarly, we could be going underground to and searching outward to go to the other temples.

      Invader
Especially since the Zelda Franchise has a distinct habit of deliberately reusing or rearranging or referencing previous themes as Musical Forshadowing.
      -Tetra’s and Sheik’s Theme? Zelda’s Theme
-Aryll’s and Marin’s Ballad of the Windfish? Also based around Zelda’s Theme loosely (and they’re thematically “False Zeldas”)
      -Groose’s Theme? Ganon’s Theme.
(No, really. But not as a red herring-he bears the trademark characteristics of the Gerudo, and shares a certain Defiance of Fate as Ganondorf, and relies both on Brute Strength and Cunning and stacking the odds in his favor (only to get bested by Link). He’s even present for every battle against The Imprisoned/Demise and plays an active role in at least one of the battles moreso than Impa (and his bloodline/soul would make a convenient tether for Demise’s Malice/Curse to punish the Third Party in his defeat). He even spends the first half of the game obsessing over Zelda...although it’s out of lust while Ganon(dorf)’s obsession is not. Thankfully Groose Let’s It Go and respects Zelda’s feelings...which Ganon(dorf) also had a similar respect for Zelda and treated her as a legitimate threat to be contained.)
-Kakariko Villages all share similar motifs. (Which can also be heard in Old Kakariko/Hidden Village, BotW Kakariko, and the BotW Main Theme...but it’s much harder. BUT, all of the above are directly tied to the Sheikah...so it’s possible that that isn’t too much of a stretch.)
...and the Game Over theme from Zelda1 is referenced in both Ghirahim’s Theme and in the music playing around the “Sealing” Hand. (One of several reasons why I’m hopeful that the “Seal” is actually connected to Ghirahim. I’ve made waaaayyy too many tangents about the similarities between the Hand and Ghirahim and what Ghirahim would even have to gain from the connection/how he could’ve orchestrated the events/how Ghirahim has the most Skills to revive Demise (and more successfully) out of every previous group to date...including Twinrova in the Oracle Games))

      -
(I also derp around with eartraining A LOT. Like the colligate ear training drills were a breeze for me...when it was only the intervals, anyway. I had an upperclassmen friend who I hung out with who wanted to make an arrangement of the Disney Narnia score. She had me write out the contour and intervals for her to mess with making actual sheet music for, later. The project kinda got abandoned, but it was WILD having a better Ear even though I kinda flunked out of the Chord Theory portion despite having a few people try to tutor me-it was a bit too little, too late. Also anxiety’s a bastard that can go screw itself...and most of my classmates either had a different learning style or already had a background in Chord Theory whereas I...didn’t.)

The Wind Tribe IS the Sheikah tribe!
Who served the royal family & was buried in Kakariko graveyard? Sheikah!
Also, Sharp & Flat, the composer brothers, served the royal family & were buried in Kakariko graveyard because they are Sheikah! They each hold a baton. 1 of those batons is the Wind Waker!
Sun's Song does the same thing as Song Of Passing.
Song Of Storms changes the weather like the Ballad Of Gales.
Then there is the Ocarina Of Time itself, which looks very similar to the Ocarina Of Winds, & has similar abilities to the Wind Waker, & is confirmed to be made of... Timeshift Stone.
The Sheikah always had this tech.
The Sheikah made the Ancient Robots, Mazaal, Ocarina of Winds, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, Gohdan, and much more... using Timshift Stone (SS), Master Ore (ALBW), & Luminous Stone (BotW)!

My 3DS I got used...and haven’t been able to find any of the GBA Zelda titles to try playing on my old DS. I've always had a strange feeling that Breath of the Wild connected more with The Wind Waker than any other Zelda game. It just... Feels right.
The salt item description, the blue Champion's Tunic and Link's Outset outfit, the idea that the Deku Tree saplings spread throughout the Great Sea would eventually connect the islands into a massive landscape, like the Deku Tree himself states...
And yes, the HUGE contrast in how technologically advanced the Tower of the Gods is in comparison to ANY other dungeon in the series. Up until BotW of course. It's almost as if BotW was the sequel that TWW always needed (not trying to diss Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks by the way, I really like those games), but countless games released in-between.
Also, regarding on the "blue energy" of the Gods that the Sheikah use in their constructs: I've always had this theory (probably other people do as well) that it's just a liquid distilled form of the *Timeshift Stones* from the Lanayru Desert. It's not far-fetched that a stone that alters time could be used to fuel such amazing things such as the shrines or the ancient equipment. Heck, it could work with your theory too! Maybe the Timeshift Stones themselves are crystallized remains of the "Big Bang" or the blue energy that the Goddesses used to create all of existence. A physical form of the "TV static" that we have in real life.
    Sorry for the long comment.

This. I missed WW when I was a kid and started playing it this summer only to restart again on the Wii U version. I've said numerous time during the play-through, "Man, something about this game makes me think of BotW really hard." I thought maybe it was just the "freedom" until the Tower rises out of the water with those Sheikah designs. Mind blown.
And then my mind was even more blown and I have only found one person online mention this on reddit.. When you are in Hyrule Castle and walk out the back door to the bridge, off in the distance is a tower. If you zoom in on the tower it has those very same designs. IMO, it looks like an early Sheikah tower but it is def of their making at the very least. This absolutely floored me. I've watched tons of Zeltik, NBC and various other videos and no one has mentioned this tower. Also the whole vibe of Hyrule when you walk outside, even in that little area, I get a BotW vibe. I also really love how much WW references OoT.

Maybe if Spirit Tracks was never made I could see BoTW in the Adult Timeline, but New Hyrule is too different from BoTW Hyrule for me to see how they could connect. They're not on the same landmass, and they don't even use the Triforce symbol at all, seemingly forgetting about it. Not to mention, the Master Sword and Ganon have both been erased from existance. Idk, I need more convincing.

In Skyward Sword, the badass scene where Ghirahim and Impa fight after the earth temple, Impa uses a type of blue energy during this fight while telling Zelda to go through the gate of time. The music is what baffled me the most. A pretty heavy reference by the composer if nothing else.
From a game development perspective this also makes a lot of sense. Judging by the use of color coding in Wind Waker, that is pretty much where it began to be consistent. Blue for knowledge and wisdom was established in OoT (or earlier idk) but that started to translate into blue for technology in WW and stayed that way until now.
The Sheika shrines design could merely be a fun reference to the tower of the gods, but given their conceptual similarity it makes alot of sense that this was an intentional connection. BotW has alot of subtle WW references and a similar feel so I wouldn't be surprised.

And with BotW having them so in the "open" I can't help but feel like their wholesome appearances are a deliberate PR move to save face while the Yiga clan exists to ruin their name.
I'm not joking when I say you could make an Ancient Aliens episode on why the Shiekah have such amazing understanding of technology thanks to being "servants of the gods". (Cue footage of the Majora's Mask Aliens)

If the Sheikah are sevents of the gods, despite their many failures, the goddesses/gods still chose them and maybe through Impa's act of serving Zelda from OoT and sealing Bongo Bongo, they were redeemed as a whole, allowing future sheikah to serve like they were chosen to do. In the WW, if the sheikah were involved, they were probably asked to create the tower for the gods, proving they are still loyal, even if Impa did redeem them because maybe that act wasn't good enough, and because that's what a servant would do. They were probably asked to do so by receiving a vision or something through their minds eye. By the time the events of the WW, they seemingly aren't around. They could of recived a vision from a dream OoT Zelda had about Ganondorf's return and the great flood, because she has dreamt of future catastrophes in before. I'd like to think that if the sheikah were told to build the tower by OoT Zelda, it would of been passed down by Impa, because being the only loyal sheikah left in OoT, she couldn't have built anything by herself.

I completely agree with the blue energy and it can't be a coincidence. The constellations as well. Not just that but the Koroks as well since their originally from Wind Waker. I don't fully agree with the Robot and technology connection too too much with the dungeon since it sorta reminds me more of TP's Temple of time. I actually would like to believe that some of the games took place in between the 10,000 years of the Sheikah era. I mean who knows how long it took to wield the goddesses energy let alone create machines that run with it. I'm still trying to figure it out but I think it would connect the timeline so much better this way.
And Wind Waker is definitely somewhere close to the beginning of that era. Since the Hylians have just been given a trial (The Tower of the Gods) so that the Hero of Time could prove himself in case he returned. Meanwhile, the Sheikah population grows again and study the gods' technology inside the Tower and learn how to make it themselves.
I'd like to think that this started the Sheikah era. Basically going along the other generations of the Zelda Timeline.

The fact that Blue energy symbolizes the Gods' energy could also further prove the fact that the energy being drawn from Ganon is, in fact, what is being used to power the Ancient Flames of the Sheikah Tribe, as the Triforce is a power of the Gods bestowed upon those who deemed themselves worthy of it, or one who stole it, as Ganondorf did with the Triforce of Power back in Ocarina of Time.
This theory doesn't just coincide with the Tower of Gods being an ancient shrine to test the Hero's strength and courage, but it further strengthens the theory that Ganondorf being the main source of said energy for Guardians, Shrines and the like in Breath of the Wild.

Gohdan looks like Mazaal from the Minish Cap, notice the disembodied hands with eyes, and the only parts are the head and the head

2:07 I mean that's great and all but wouldn't that mean that Link could beat NordVPN?
And there are a lot of links on the internet

What I believe is that the Tower of the Gods WAS built by the gods themselves since it predates even the age of prosperity of the Sheikah, but when the age of prosperity came for the tribe, the Sheikah probably took inspiration of the remnant of the divine tower to make their OWN version of the tech, using ancient pieces of the now defunct tower as a rough "blueprint" to reverse engineer it.
which would explain why the shrines all have this divine and almost heavenly music playing, reminiscent of the original holy tower, but the music version for the shrines is more... subtle, less "Holy" and less "God-like" than the original. Because After all... the new sheikah constructs themselves are no longer fully of "divine origins" but rather some sort of an hybrid, with the structure being man-made but still fueled by the very essence of the gods just like the ancient Tower originally was.

May I add that the head and hands design for a boss is also seen in the minish cap? The wind fortress boss (I forget his name) is a pyramid like head with hands that you need to shoot at in order to enter the head and attack the weak spot

The shiekah: we are a holy race here to protect and serve Hylia
Also shiekah: let’s have the shadow temple and bottom of the well too. Oh yeah, can’t forget dead hand

Deadhand probably was not a Sheikah creation.

@@tanandalynch9441 most likely an indirect creation of the Sheikah. If they created Bongo Bongo in some type of way and Bongo Bongo created Deadhand, then it's just a causal relation type deal.
