i have this pencil and i really like it!! the only downside is that the tip where the led comes out is a bit fragile and can bend easily but everything else is amazing!
That's what you want on such a pencil. They are not designed for writing, they are professional tools for draftsmen. The tip is the same on all of those kind of pencils for a reason, that reason is that only that kind of tip, can work on letter stencils and rulers or other drafting tools we use. For writing, the Pentel Kerry is the pencil people should go for. Won't hurt your fingers on longer sessions, as also it will write better than any drafting pencil, even though I have to admit, that the Graphgear is so precise and well designed, that it also writes better than most pencils.
I agree. I Have 3 gg 1000. In 0.3, 0.5 and 0.7. And when I bought a gg500 in 0.5 fell in love. The weight, Balance, feeling at drawing is perfect. I remove the clip and love. Now have 0.3 and 0.5. I wonder wich lead is preloaded. I think is ain stein hb. Do you know?
By the way, those tiny erasers on mechanical pencils, are PERFECT, for the job that those pencils are built for, and that's Technical drawing. Pentel has the best ones on their pencils bar none. People who don't like those erasers, or finds them tiny etc, are wrong, because they got the wrong tool for their needs, and they are judging it, as something it was never meant to be. Even for free drawing, you can't draw, without an eraser like that. That's why all Artists, own and use a lot, the Tombow Mono Zero pencil eraser. it's a similar tiny eraser, that all mechanical pencils come with, just with higher quality/performance.
no. the body is plastic. the grip and tip is metal as well as the clip and cap. solid plastic tho. ive had mine at least 10 years and its very well used. still works like a champ.

Just don't drop it. Take basic care of your items.
In my country the price is 1.75$… i need to buy this soon. Thanks for the review.
Very less😅 In my country I got it for 15.25 dollars.......
Wow, that must have been a roaring inferno of a fire sale. I've never found this pencil for less than the rough equivalent of 8 dollars.
yeah man this pencil is really under rated. you should make a review of the alvin draftmatic
I bought it on amazon yesterday
I don't get why they couldn't make the grip flush with the barrel, it's almost perfect but they had to mess it up.
I have this pencil for sketching
Is it like a mechanical pencil?
Bruhh Art yes it is a mechanical pencil
yess
Pentel's P200 and GG500 series are A LOT BETTER than the GG1000.
True

@@underafrozenmoon Most likely it's HB.
@@hukes thank you, But do you know if it is ain stein, or is just hi polimer super? I wonder because its darker and feels so good and smooth
@@underafrozenmoon I guess it's just hi polymer. If it feels smooth, then maybe it came with B or 2B. Maybe.
Decent review, but a quick tutorial on replacing the lead would have been helpful to those, like me, who have never undertaken it….🎬
Awesome
