I have the exact same problem, the volume up and pause/play button no longer work. I can no longer manually turn them on or off. In order to turn on, I have to connect to charger which automatically puts it in pairing mode so currently I am still able to use them but I have no way to play/pause, turn up volume or turn off/on.
Hi, I had a similar problem, I put them on rice for 3 days. Then, I connect them to the charger and it said “pairing”, I paired them to my phone and unplugged the charger to use them. The + volume and the pause bottom didn’t work but I could control the music with the phone at least
Also, I press the - volume bottom too much that I could not hear anything, so when it was pairing y pressed all the bottoms for 3-5 seconds and the volume was restored
The headphones do this for 1 of two reasons by design. They are designed to flash red blue if the charging point is wet. It's not supposed to allow you to charge them and gives this warning, but if you keep trying they can short out. At which point it can do this repeatedly and is the result of them being damaged

Its happened to me after take a shower with the aeropex.
Its a shame, 180 euros and definitily not waterproof...

Were you able to figure out what is happening? Mine are doing the same thing with a beeping sound
Mine the same! I thought it was because they had humidity but now it happens all time
