Recipe: Easy Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
500g (4 cups) pizza flour
320g (1⅓ cups) water
10g (2 tsp) salt
20g (1/16 cups) olive oil
1/2 tsp instant yeast
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Mix with a stand mixer using a dough hook on low speed. Knead for about 10 minutes, gradually increasing speed until the dough is soft and elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest at room temperature for 3-4 hours.
Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
300g (1 1/3 cups) tomato sauce
Olive oil
Fresh basil leaves
Salt
Combine tomato sauce, olive oil, in a bowl. Stir in fresh basil leaves. The sauce is now ready for your pizza!
Baking Instructions
Pizza Oven:
Preheat to full heat (15-20 minutes). Reduce heat slightly when baking to avoid burning. Bake pizza with toppings for 3-4 minutes.
Home Oven:
Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking steel inside.
Pre-bake plain dough for 5 minutes. Add toppings and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Great explanation on yeast thank you. A VERY popular Pizza UA-camr suggested WAY to much yeast for their Poolish as it would blow up in the fridge and I had to cut in half.

I like a little less moisture than 64%. I go for 61% and it turns out wonderful and is so much easier to work with. I’m sure this tastes great but I hate sticky!! 😂
I agree! Less moisture in the dough makes it easier to work with. It also depends on the ingredients… change your flour (brand) and you need a little adjustment again
