First tip , don't use these tests use only the tests that are from Cambridge, British and IDP, because they are more likely to the real ielts tests rather than these fakes that don't understand what the are doing.

practice listening every day! listen to some podcasts, movies or just simply watch some bloggers on UA-cam who speaks English, I am telling you that it will definitely help you improve your overall listening skills. And basically try to increase your level of grammar and vocabulary. With a good grammar cornerstone it will be easier to understand the meaning of a particular word and phrases
