As Spy grows attached to Medic's plan to prove his worth - the newly founded Brown team enters the fight, along with an individual clouded by mystery.

ADRESSING CONCERNS REGARDING MY CHANNEL: UA-cam is for now my full-time job! I finished my Matura exams quite recently, very well in fact, though I decided to put off studying abroad. There's this Frank Zappa quote which resonates with me a lot: ,,If you want knowledge, go to a library - if you want to have s3x, go to a university". My current plan for this channel is to finish Magnificent Nine V this YEAR (which is perhaps overly ambitious, who knows) and than begin a whole new series, based on some of the characters within the current series. I've been planning this since I was 14, when I made ,,The Scout Who Never Gave Up".
ABOUT THIS VIDEO: This one took 7 months on and off work, but in reality it took maybe 2-3 months of actual work - by actual work I mean waking up at 8AM and working till 6-10 PM. The other 4 months was me doing commissions to fund my weird life-style and weirder projects - along with studying philosophy for the exams, hence the numerous references to Nietzsche, Hegel, Marx, Schopenhauer. Fun fact to Polish teenagers, I got 92% on my Polish extended exam. That being said, this video is a massive improvement to my latest work on a pretty ,,objective'' level - I started incorporating stronger lighting choices, more snappy dialogue, more coherent pacing, the fight scenes are massive - sometimes containing 9 characters moving individually.
ADRESSING THE BROWN TEAM QUESTION: Yes, You could say that this video is slightly political, but I reject the idea of ,,l'art pour l'art" whole hardedly. Some of You groaned at the references, some of You laughed at them. My videos are a sincere reflection of my way of being - I stand opposed to any form of rhetoric which is rooted in hatred and malice, which is why I ridicule the two ideologies which grasped the nations that invaded my homeland mere 80 years ago. The threat over the fragile human nature is ever-present, and not drawing attention to it is not noble. Bertrand Russel's, Witkacy's and Voltaire's sentiment towards extremism is one that i share.
ADRESSING THE REFERENCES TO POLAND: I hate to admit it, but I love Poland. I love the crazy streets at 1AM, the vibrant, yet deeply cynical people, the literature, the art! In the first scene we've got a building based on the Royal Palace with a Sarmata in it, in the flashback scene i replicated the Palace of Culture - there are many more subtle references too. My love takes on a weird form, but it's there, and it's strong.

This line right here… isn’t just what Medic mains feel. I can say we can generalize this to real life as well. Because, let’s be honest, there are people out there who have done a tremendous effort to be a team player and to be recognized and respected by others, but were always overlooked or ignored. They became victims because people didn’t recognize or respected their efforts.
This is not just a feeling from Team Fortress 2 players but a feeling that many people feel in general in all forms of genres or reality. I had that feeling a lot when I was in high school, I was putting effort into being a team player but wasn’t respected or acknowledged in some way. Over time I just wanted an ounce of respect from my group but they rarely acknowledged it. That was a few years ago.
That is what Medic feels right now, he wants to be respected. While his team, minus the civilian, are not cruel to him but they are hurting him in a way without knowing it.
People call who don’t respect others for their efforts are considered cruel people, but the cruelest of all are those who are hurting others without knowing it, being ignorant of their actions and behavior towards the person they unintentionally hurting. Hence RED Team’s behavior toward the RED Medic.

When medic said "My Baby Boy!" I felt so emotional. It's just reminding me of the times Heavy and Medic killed so many people in Uber pushes and more. Very emotional.

as a support main in general, we are all getting our shirt caught on a door knob away from a downward spiral in which we become serial killers
As an engineer main I would like to say, that you guys are just as important in a team as us engineers (maybe even more).

As a medic main and engineer secondary, it's mainly about how much your team is willing to care about you. Engineer is crippled badly when his teammates don't play around his buildings while medic has to stand behind two or more people to even do his job so that he'll be more protected.

Jokes aside, this is fantastic. I'm shocked just how much your lighting and overall cinematography has improved over the years and of course how could I forget the fantastic particle work. Genuinely proud of ya! My only critique is that sometimes the animation here and there has some rough edges, could have used more polishing but other than that this is some of the highest quality SFM Material you can find out there. Must say you're beating me to the punch here lol

Edit: soldier screaming at the end was hilarious, why was he so funny this episode.
Not enough people are realising how much of a G that spy is. He literally helped medic fake his death in order to help him. All for some money. And its not like he doesnt care either. The scene where medic says "I only wanted one ounce of respect" spy comes up to him and comforts him, shows that spy is actually doing this for medic and cares about him.
I can't believe I wasn't informed this came out. There's so much going on and I love every moment of it. I'm so excited for this to continue, you're such an amazing storyteller.
Also, I love that this Spy is kind of a Cloud Coocoolander. Just randomly decides to throw rocks at a car.
You know the scene with scout giving bonk to help heavy was pretty emotional seeing how someone notoriously egotistical sharing his speed drink to a dying friend. I like to think the bonk made heavy’s heart so fast it was able to keep blood pumping.
And it’s the same Scout from the first part of Magnificent Nine, so it’s nice to see him return the favor for his mentor

Ya know, I just realized something. Why isn't there another background character in charge of actually maintaining and procuring the weapons and equipment for the Mercs.
Like, do ya really think Soldier was able to get his hand on an actual rocket launcher? Do ya really think Scout gives enough of a crap to clean his guns?
So why isn't there a Gunsmith, or Armorer, or Mechanic, or whatever?
Engie can only do so much before calling it quits.

Another beautiful work of cinematic art as always, Hoovy! I think it's safe to say that the wait for this next installment in the series was completely worthwhile for everyone - I hope so at least, because this was just brilliant!
As always, your series continues to remind that this is Source Filmmaker and not something else like Blender or S2FM. That alone should be more than enough to get the picture across that the work you put into every little detail was incredibly astonishing for one single man! The cinematic ambience, mixed with your color grading, color correction, particle work, scene-building, custom models and textures for many, many things to not miss out on one single detail regarding wounds, skin glossiness during rainy weather, all the bits and pieces such bullet shells, debris from the fights, liquid spills...you name it - you didn't miss a single one as far as I noticed. For that, I have nothing else to say but to congratulate you for making this amazing work of art, Hoovy. Seriously, take it from another fellow SFM animator: things like this inspire many of us smaller bois to keep on learning and improving ourselves to reach new heights.
Be proud, Hoovy. You've made art, and I wish you the best on turning this whole passion of yours into a full-time job. But all that I ask of you is to please take care of yourself, take breaks when you need to! Because if there's one thing I've learned from experience ever since I started this "passion-as-a-job" 2 years ago, is that it eats away at you if you do not take care of yourself! Please don't forget this! The people who enjoy your work will gladly wait with the patience of an angel. You know the saying: you can't rush perfection.

There’s only one thing though, in the first scene the red medic is holding a single action revolver where you have to cock the hammer down first then pull the trigger. Everything else in this sfm is gorgeous, nice job

We waited a long time for this and haven’t been disappointed.
I honestly don't know who to be rooting for here on one hand the red team has some of the people that I come to love. While on the other seeing Blu in shock over the fact they have caped their first point in ages actually makes me want them to win. Blu team seem to appreciate their medic way more than the Red team has shown to their own medic and spy. They did not even seem hesitate when it came to replacing him. Look at what Red did they made my boy cry. So I like to assume when Medic said he has no idea who he wants to root for anymore that was also a question for us aswell. If that was your purpose then good job you have accomplished it well.

Clarification for those who may not understand (still might be wrong though):
When Medic demonstrates documents of the "10th Class", all the information is written in Ukrainian, the main inspiration is taken from Vladimir Zelensky i suppose, the current president of the Ukrainian state (beard, brows and overall face structure looks just as him but harmonically putted in tf2 style).
I appreciate the speculation, but not really. The Slavic languages used in the documents relates to the fact that he spent time in the ,,Builder's Revolutionary Nation".
