It's a tricky path to tread, between other people's belief systems... neither my Mum, Dad or Husband have any clue what I am talking about or what is happening! But how could they? I think it's pretty weird myself! That's why finding Spiritual friends who are aligned with you or on a similar journey is so valuable, and I recommend it.

Oneday when I was meditating I felt something was moving upwards in my back (Till that time I was not aware of the term kundalini). From there my meditation hours became 7/8 hours long with involuntary movements in body. Then I realised something was wrong with me and came to realised that my Kundalini has awaken. Now the energy is working on cleansing of my chakras. I did not realise anything about first chakra and 3rd chakra but 2nd chakra sometimes emits too much heat. I don't think heart chakra has cleansed coz I have not felt anything there. But a drill machine work was continued in my throat for about 3 days. Nothing on my third eye level except sometimes I m punching it. But for the last 2 months the energy from kundalini goes to my neck and get into my head. There it is doing something but I m not sure what except the fact that I m all the time shaking, moving, spinning and churning my head. So I wanted to know what is this happening? Why there is no activity at heart chakra and third eye level? After cleansing when chakras are opened?? Why energy is directly working on my sahsarara/crown chakra and not sequence wise on my heart/third eye chakra. I have many questions but no answers. Can you help to solve the riddle?
My curiosity into spirituality and everything based upon energy is exactly what you're curious about and searching but I'm way behind Emma, as in physically speaking the awareness is there and the insight but I don't apply it practically and still drinking energy drinks and ruining my body but I'm using it as a coping strategy because of what you said "we are living an unfulfilled life on a soul level" I feel that to an extreme level even though I'm studying a bachelor of Counselling, will be finishing soon. So I'm reaching out to you to gain more information or a guide to finding that fulfilment on a planet that is so aggressive and destructive. I'm originally not from here, from another planet in previous lives. No one around me understandings spirituality and seeks it as I do, which feels so natural but I'm only at the stage of gaining insight but don't know how to apply it practically and also I feel like an old soul and nothing on this planet truly fulfils me except trying to understanding everything outside of this dimension which brings meaning and purpose to this dimension. It's like I'm seeking something beyond what this planet has to offer but in the meantime, I'm using its stuff to cope with an existential crisis. Firstly remember that Nature holds many of the keys>> so as a rough shorthand, living as Natural a life as you possibly can is a HUGE first step. The Spiritual Path is about Self-Mastery; ie Self Discipline. Unfortunately you can't get out of that one-- Self discipline is required. The easiest place to start is your diet. I saw that furniture too. Huge huge vegetable- there was ingenious growing domes that were self sustaining ecosystems. Children were like jewels and their skin and hair sparkled. I saw there was a global event that took out all electronics and systems first. Honestly I think it was where a portion of the population went after dying from the event- or they didn't die but were taken up in light

I think you might have had what is called a "top-Down" kundalini awakening, your crown chakra gets blasted open all at once, you are one with all creation, identify with Christ or Mother, see spirit world, know truth about yourself, your mission, the matrix falls, you see et's, feel total bliss? I experienced something like this, but I think the problem for me was that the rest of my chakras were not in balance, carrying a lot of old traumas, so when the awakening experience subsided, my connection to source felt completely shut down. I not only felt no bliss, I was in total darkness, pure agony, excruciating pain, no idea how to live the rest of my life here, who I was before was gone, but so was who I was during the awakening - A Co'Creator, able to connect with multi-dimensional energy, feeling who people were just by looking at them, astounding gifts - just disappeared. Still struggling to make sense of it, apparently people who go through this are often put in psych wards and never recover. I myself was committed for 10 days and shot full of anti-psychotic drugs against my will, which made the whole experience that much more traumatic and I am still recovering. I also have the feeling that my mission, whatever it was or is, is over now, that I failed somehow, and I just want this life to be over so I can go home and never come back again, i am so alone here. I do everything I can to try to heal from the bottom up, as the kundalini is meant to happen, but it's a slow, confusing and terribly painful process, I have no idea what to do most of the time. Hi Sara-Jane! Thanks for posting! Just take things gently is my only advice-- you do get pressure in those areas, and it is normal. If it's too painful, ease back a bit on the meditating and go along gently... Much Love!
Yoga ,grounding meditation, eye and face exercises roll your eyes back far as you can in your head and tip your head back as far as you can and lots of salt and oil baths
Had that experience in 9/94, was very powerful. A very tall man stood in front of me at a train station and that snakelike energy entered from my front mid section, I was stunned. A few days later it occurred again from the tail bone and that was extremely powerful. Everything and everyone looked so beautiful. Thereafter, many, many changes occurred in my life, secrets were revealed, life was turned upside down, however, ultimately it set me so free. First emotion to leave was fear. I actually felt the fear lifting and was able to sleep in my home alone peacefully. Wished I knew more about this before I had the experience.

Hi Jed! You make a good point! Yes it's a good question. The answer is, I don't follow any one religion and have not done for a very long time... But I'm not against them either. I LOVE all religions and think they all have some value! I am comfortable anywhere the people are honouring Divine Source ["There are many paths up the mountain" kind of thing] I long ago realised we are only getting part of the story from religions. I would classify myself as 100% spiritual, meaning I am on a spiritual path and I have aligned myself with The Great Heart. I now have an understanding that religions were each person who began that religion's attempt at sharing their wisdom with others. But you can find that wisdom out YOURSELF through prayer, fasting and meditation. So that's what I now do. When I'm struggling with something I go back to those three things. In fact I meditate and pray every single day; they are what I regularly do in terms of spiritual practise. love and light x
Was surfing around and came to your question and thought I would jump in. My own K experience has progressed over four decades and all my beliefs have grown with it, it has to do with a depth of understanding that is entirely personal and largely internal. "Spiritual" is what happens to you and "Religion" is a way of making a connection, and is simply a practice that provides the necessary humility for the experience to open your heart. All wisdom teachings are true and will become important to you but they are just forms and the truth of things become truth to you as you allow in stillness your God to change you.
