  • Playing sensory games in the home is fun and easy! Engage your child in play that provides your child with proprioceptive input (muscles) using objects found around the home.

When I was a kid (at the same age as these boys) our favorite game was exactly sensory one. I used to lie between such two mattresses and my sister or friend lain on the top and press me by her weight. Now the Weighted Children's Sensory Blanket exists with the same purpose. I remember that they just moved into the apartment so the bedroom was empty except for these mattresses. We used to jump a lot on them and press each other naturally. Kids with sensory issues know exactly how to balance themselves, they just need a suitable place where such joy is accepted. They need climbing, jumping, pressing, something to swing (a hammock is ideal for different purposes) Even as an adult I still love to sleep in a hammock wrapped up into my favorite blanket - it has a very calming effect if I am stressed.

Thank you very much for providing these educational videos. It's helping me immensely with my four year old grandson who has sensory processing issues.

I currently have to do a sensory seedling programme with my 3 year and I’m really struggling to think of things that may calm him down but these are all brilliant ideas. I struggle to understand exactly what I’m doing when we do the activities but I’m sure these will help

Small constructive criticism. Have more fun when reading the script, it came out a bit flat, as if you were reading a science article.
