I own both an SKX and an SD1970, and I don't have prejudice, as I like them both. The SKX has heritage/prestige/iconic status. Is a legend, for good reason. The SD1970, however, is objectively better in many respects. It's an amazingly solid watch at an amazing price. And, yes, it i a design copy. And, yes, it is made in China (which isn't saying much... China makes many products, many to a very high standard).
As I said I am enjoying wearing the steeldive (seiko movement) at the moment more than the 007. That doesn’t make it a better watch just personal preference and something I want to do as it’s bit more fun. That does not take away the fact the 007 is iconic and a beautiful classic watch.

So you are saying a Chinese made, fake (sorry, homage) with no original design is better than the iconic 007?
