Thanks for the memories. I loved listening to these shows back in the 60's and 70's. I'd fall asleep listening to listening on my transistor radio. These shows are great. Cant go to sleep without them. Thank you so very much .
"Im not crazy! Don't treat me like I'm crazy!" When I first started listening to the Radio Mystery Theater in 1975 it literally scared the hell out of me at 12 years old in Iowa. It was scary but I was hooked and listened to the shows until they discontinued in 1982 or 1983. Didn't know there were over 800 shows, they are all great vintage classics. I like the introductions by E.G.Marshall, he's like the "Rod Serling" of the Radio Mystery Theater, and the scary "macabre" music at beginning & end of each show is awesome! It gives me cold chills every time and has since '75 when I was 12. "Vourl E Amana!" "We Rule The Universe!"
I grew up in the Canal Zone and my father introduced us to mystery theater on the radio every week- when I came to the US I couldn't find it anywhere until now-- now it's one story every night-- thank you
Totally agree! This channel has the best artwork, episode and actor info, original broadcast dates, nicely organized playlists and more.... Lots of comments from people, reconnecting with their childhood... Others, just enjoying the episodes, for the 1st time. Normally, ChillySunshine, was always responsive to the comments... Sadly, we lost Chilly, about 5 years ago. But they left a wonderful channel behind, that brings people joy, to this day. On Chilly's behalf, I'll say thank you for your kind words! 💚💜💚
Yes I like radio shows I even bought an old fashioned radio. I set it up in the living room just like I'm in the 1930s. There's also radio shows out called Unshackled true life stories from Pacific Garden missions. Those are for hopeful times that we might need to hear. But these are just fun nesss💝
I used to listen to these one in the 70s when I was in junior high and couldn't go to sleep I used to get it off of AM radio like I said back in the seventies hope you have much fun as I do
Sone of the dialogue in this story just kills me like-" take you back! Take me back to where?" Uh... Short term memory issues seem to happen a lot in some of these, lol. I know it's a comedy about being dumb, I'm sure I lost some brain cells thinking about it.
This particular episode full on bellows my opinion about extraterrestrials. Namely, when our does make contact with such beings, it will be revealed WE'RE NOT THAT DIFFERENT.

What are the odds they came up with this episode with Groot in mind. Lol 😆 I am Groot.

To put E. G. Marshall's final words in this episode in plain language;
We're thick skulled!
Hello From Long Beach California💐🌅

My hovercraft is full of eels.
"voer e amana" "The World Is Coming To An End!"
But his people are smart enough to clean up the earth, right?
This particular episode full on bellows my opinion about extraterrestrials.
Namely, when our does make contact with such beings, it will be revealed
WE'RE NOT THAT DIFFERENT.
William Norton no such things
Love all the retro looking ufo and rocket space art!
Voor E Armana? Is this used in any other episodes?
Very good how do you recommend.
Vur-E amon-ah
Rur Ey Amanah

Come-on, it's a comedy.
