- In this episode, we explore the abandoned Sino Wonderland theme park in Huainan, China. We encountered surveillance drones and security with dogs which seemed to be pretty common in China.

I have to give the guys respect for this video. It takes balls of steel to trespass anywhere in China... much less trespass as three white AMERICAN foreigners. All they were missing to top it all off was wearing NBA hats and clothing.

I always find it very sad when theme parks never even get a chance. From the looks of it this park had a very promising ride line-up and elaborate themeing. (also yes, that was indeed a knock-off Vekoma SLC, by Golden Horse. Believe it or not the Golden Horse version is smoother)

I second this, I was wondering what happened to Ran and if that lady at the end speaking to them in Chinese was a female guard or something. Curious on what she was saying too
I think they did find her she said she got caught and about the security guard was in his phone.
After a bit of searching the song the dude was dancing to is called 偷偷的哭 (DJ Version) by DJ何鹏 & 郭玲 which in English is Cry secretly (DJ Version) by DJ He Peng & Guo Ling. Loved the ending of this so I just had to find that song 😭!

I didn't expect to see Roberto from Futurama!
Yall fr needa do a part 2 to sino wonderland
Its Chinese policy to know where all foreigners are at all times. So they either need to have you under public surveillance, followed by officials or maybe even a drone. Chinese cops for a pricent are notified that you are in their area and are required to keep tabs on you.
As a coaster enthusiast, I was happy to hear You say vekoma. You know your stuff Man! Nice
Wild guess - it's just too much land for those security guards to try tracking anyone by foot or even by vehicle so it definitely makes sense that they would use drones to track instead. Quick battery changes for sure...

All land in China is publicly owned, so "trespassing" isn't really a thing. The security guards are more likely to ask for a picture with you than they are to kick you out.
Also all Chinese theme parks seem to have a random assortment of themes that don't really mesh. Happy Valley Beijing is Greek/Candy Land/ Aztec/ SeaWorld/ Tibetan themed.

But I am not trying to diss you. By all means, enjoy it! Just my opinion.
@@rb3425 Firstly, that's Pripyat. Secondly, the zone is huge and includes more than just that and the power plant.
@@MeanBeanKerosene Actually, that city can be spelled either way, "Pripyat or Prypiat" I have seen it spelled both ways because Pripyat is pronounced "Prypiat" by the local population. Did you understand what city I was mentioning? I think you did. So you still understood. And as you mentioned, it is a huge area in which many parts are still not safe to enter. The tours that are purchased from the locals are restricted to certain areas. You can't just wander around the power plant and start rummaging through every area you find of interest. THAT is why you always see the same things in different UA-cam videos. Those are the only safe places to explore unless you want to go to the nearby forest and look at trees.
Wonderland was a never completed amusement park project located in Chenzhuang Village, Nankou Town , Changping District, China, about 32 kilometres (20 mi) outside of Beijing. Originally proposed by the Thailand-based property developer Reignwood Group, and designed to be the largest amusement park in Asia (to have covered 120 acres (49 ha)), construction stopped in 1998 following financial problems with local officials, while a 2008 attempt to start construction again also failed. In wiki, it is said that this is demolished in 2013... If it is opened, it would have been a largest amusement park in Asia ..

That would have been the perfect ending to a David Lynch movie.
Same thooo
Sometimes I wish they would come to one of these abandoned parks, find one of the rides, go into the control room, and then when they touch the power button, it actually starts up. That would be amazing.
I find it bizarre that someone actually pays security for abandoned places like this. like if they're abandoned in there's no plans for them why keep pouring money into protecting it. I mean I guess you want to keep the investment from getting destroyed but why keep putting money into something that is going to go nowhere. I feel like I understand it on some level but at the same time it just feels so bizarre.
well there are some tiles, iron bars, copper wires, machines and others contruction materials that could be steal in that park
Could be for safety, so the people exploring don't get hurt, maybe.
I don't know about China and their laws, but in many places in the US, you are still responsible for your property even after it is abandoned. Even if someone breaks in and hurts themselves, you are responsible. So you pay the absolute cheapest security firm to "guard" it. That way, if someone gets hurt and sues you, you turn around and sue the security firm.
The alternative is to sell/forfeit the land which typically isn't allowed until you clean the land up.
BinxPlays security is mostly to avoid homeless people to move in, or to be a place to party and consume drugs and stuffs there’s a tons of reasons why they “secure” while abandoned
Protection from liability laws.
