i just finished the game yesterday, it took me 26 hours because i was taking photos on my phone to share the experience with a friend. until then is such a beautiful game, visually, narratively and through its music. it hooks you completely. all the reading in the visual-novel style game doesn't feel too exhausting. it just feels like dialogue and context and character development. i almost cried like a baby throughout. it was such a difficult game to get through because of how emotional it was but. the connections that the characters build with each other and the audience kept me going. every character was so compelling. this game is an absolute masterpiece. i'm only half filipino, so im sure i've missed a ton of references, but everything in this game just felt so familiar, welcoming. it felt like home.
Nice video essay my guy. This game really made a huge impact on my life. I began to appreciate my present. I somewhat became hopeful of my future despite the challenges I may face. I realized to accept and let go of my past problems, even though some are still lingering and resonating. This game will always have a special place in my heart. Truly, the world hasn't ended yet.
I can see the effort put into this video, great job man! As a Filipino it definitely impacted me really hard too, I love how appreciated our culture felt in this game and how much personal it is for us to actually get good representation in media executed well. PINOYPRIDE!!!
Try to rate omori, I find it somewhat similar to this game, although the gameplay is quite long, in my opinion the star of the game lies in it's story more then anything else
