Hi. Thanks for your hard work and love of fragrances. I love how you describe each one with conviction. Your in my top 2 in the community. Thank you. We can depend on you.
I found in my fragrance journey or lifestyle with about 70 fragrances since June, some niche, some designer and indie, and some very inexpensive fragrances that some of the very inexpensive fragrances under $40.00 are much much better than all the very expensive ones. I really love these reviews. Thank you. :)
I agree, some cheapies are just amazing and when you run into one its makes you question how much does it really cost to create these so called expensive fragrances :)
Super list! Another hidden cheapie gem if I may recommend, 'Romance Forever for Men' by Rasasi ...the bottle is even more tackier than the name but some awesome notes coming out of nowhere... Lavender, Geranium, Nutmeg, Iris, Sandalwood, Musk and more...a barber shop genre
@Panka The one you described sounds interesting. I'm looking for a good, inexpensive Tobacco fragrance. Rasassi has one called Tobacco Blaze... Have you tried that one by chance? 😊
AC, another great list. Habit Rouge, Lalique White and Eau de Rochas definitely winners in my collection. Thank you for your time and effort in bringing us great content in your reviews. Peace and be well my friend ✌
I appreciate that your passion for fragrances shows through even when you are reviewing or suggesting fragrances for those on a budget. Captivating stuff. Most collections would be very small without some more affordable selections in them 🤣 thanks AC!
Excellent video. I really think there is a VERY BIG PROBLEM with your Bentley bottle..because performance with my bottle is nuclear....no joke. This fragrance is so strong that it's very hard for me to wear it.
Yeah Todd, there is a big problem , just read the comments below. Looks like there are two versions of it. i have the reformulated version which is polar opposite to what you have :(.
Cerruti is one absolutely overlooked house, incredible frag mate! Eau de Rochas Man...don't get me started, for heat there's nothing like it. Fantastic list, good mix of old school and modern juices.
Hello there, great list my friend. There's some I have to give other chance...Like Bentley and Lalique White(not getting performance). Icon is spectacular for the price and quality. Have you tried Encre Noire L'Extreme? It's amazing.
hello mate, great to see you after a while. I absolutely adore A l Extreme and I have reviewed it, it has a good chance of getting into part 2. yes, Lalique is a bit light on me too but not as bad as Bentley Intense. Try and sample Bella Notte if you can.
*Great list :) All very good fragrances. And you know that I love good but inexpensive. :) I wanted to film today but I can't spray anything on my left wrist because I have burnt it with boiling water... I even have a blister there :( :( :( Hurts like hell and looks terrible... :(*
Absolutely great list, and so well and eloquently described. Thank you so much for sharing, I have a few of these in my collection and will be sure to check out the ones I do not.
Great list, enjoyable viewing as always. Loads of others I could think of including in this category but all your suggestions are worthy of appearing. Glad to hear a follow up list is coming.
My kind of list. Some intriguing ones. I have Man in Black and it smells much better than it costs. Also MIdnight in Paris is not cheap due to it being discontinued. It goes for around $200 now. Again, another great video.
Yeah, it was an oversight on my part , i should have checked, when I bought it 3 years ago it was 29.00 GBP. MIB is superb and I enjoy wearing it every time mate, will do a review soon :).
about the performance with the Bentley... it's a fragrance that sells very well, so they produce it on fast-forward.. so the maceration is not great on it... use it a few times so that air gets in and leave it a few months on the shelf.. you'll find it richer and with better performance afterwards
Good list. My scent of the day Bentley Man intense..... I like to use bentley in the very colder months, especially spray in my car, feels so luxurious. Dunh Icon is a great office fragrance as well. Man in black has been on my wish list for long.....
You could be right about Bentley Intense because it doesn't project or last on me either. And i ordered Dunhill Icon as Mr Smelly and you both recommend this gem.
AC many people say it's a designer counterpart of PDM Galloway.... I just like it so much and I somebody get some Vetiver from Lalique white. Dunhill icon... I just love the way they have used Neroli and Vetiver
Great list. I'm new to your channel and new to fragrance. This list helps a lot. Mont Blanc Individual has been on my radar although I've not smelled any of these. Hard to get out these days. Would you say Mont Blanc is a safe blind buy?
Hello my dear bro, Great list AC, I do have most of these scents, But not Rochas for now, got it to get it again:)I do like Hanae Mori HM a lot(even have Hane Mori HIM EDP for colder weather, It is so gorgeous IMHO) and of course VanCleep Midnight in Paris is super awesome , great Nr2 in your list and Nr 1 is absolutely the best choice, bravooooo bro. Cerruti Bella Notte is a superb cheapie, It is 75% like JV dark rebel rider IMHO.Thanks, bro for the excellent video. Have a great week.cheers
Hello mate, glad you liked the video. I did not realise Bella notte is close to JV DRR, I have to smell that JV now as I quite like DR. I have the EDT version of HiM and find it quite close to Gucci PH 2, do you get the same vibes?
Love your top pick. I agree that from a value position MIB is just amazing. I wish I liked Invididual more. I want to like it but just can't get there. Another great video, sir. Keep them coming.
Thank you Edward and great to see you :). Yeah MIB is niche quality mate just like Icon. I struggled with Individuel too for a long time and then realized its a 1 spray cold weather fragrance. Try and sample Bella Notte and Habit Rouge EDT if you can and haven't already .
The Edp is Thicker As in creamier and denser which makes it perfect to be called as niche but sits close to skin but prefer the smell to the edt whereas the performance of edt is better but very watery
Follow up: the Habit Rouge is super good after about 3 hours, its a tad rose heavy to my nose out of the gate. Great Channel, best out there for reviews.
Bvlgari MIB is fantastic. Sadly, the the price of Midnight in Paris is skyrocketing. Burberry Touch, CK Reveal, CK Euphoria Intense, Guerlain Ideal Cologne, Antonio Banderas Seduction in Black, Cartier Declaration D'un Soir, Bvlgari BLV, Burberry Brit are also good smelling budget fragrances.
Nice suggestions Brian, I like most of them barring L homme IDEAL cologne. That one was so flat on me that I sold it. I haven't smelled Antonio Banderas Seduction in Black yet.
Ferrari radiant bergamot and bright neroli, rasasi al wisam day, and a few from alexandria such as hafez 1984, and Mugler cologne are all great value fragrances from my experience!
Thanks Kyle, I am with you on Mugler Cologne but the two Ferrais have really poor longevity on me mate, so not sure. Never tried Hafeez 1984, I think I will have to soon.
Hello my friend! I very much enjoyed your list! I even have a few on your list. I hope that Issey Miyake L'eau Bleue D'issey Eau Fraîche made the part 2 list! Fingers crossed!
Hello my friend, how are you doing. i haven't gotten around to by the Issey Miyake yet but there are other amazing ones in Part 2. You won't be disappointed.
Thanks for the list. Need to get my nose on the Valentino Uomo Noir and D&G one at the beginning of the vid. Some others I need to check out too. Only have two in your list - Bvlgari and Habit Rouge.
Both MIB and HR are very good indeed :). If you like rose then The One Mysterious Nights will knock your socks off. Uomo Noir Absolute is niche quality through and through.
Excellent picks there my man! Great to hear that the D&G Mystique is a winner, i have D&G The One Royal Night but am yet to try the new Mystique version so i will keep a look out for it and hopefully pick up a sample 🙂
@@ACSmellsGood Royal Night is a spicier version of The One. I wasn't keen when i first tried it, but i worked my way through 10ml and once i had i loved it.. so got a bottle 😆

Great list 👌 lots of good choices there, to bad with the Bentley intense 🤔 I've never heard of it not performing for anyone mine is an absolute monster so much so I have to have the right situation to wear it.
man, I was really hoping it would be as nice as people say it is but not to be. Here is a link Shave a thon posted below, looks like this is a 50 -50 fragrance. www.basenotes.net/threads/448626-Are-there-two-versions-of-Bentley-Intense I am going leave it standing for a few months and see if it performs in Spring or else i will sell it, with a heavy heart ofcourse :(.
Very nice cheapies list. I purchased Bella Notte in March 2017 as part of my Spring Cheapies fling...completely blind-buy (I never heard of it) but I do like some of the Cerruti cheap so what the heck. I immediately liked it and posted that it was a very nice fresh-spicy fragrance with a bit of a masculine edge (for lack of a better term) and never did I equate it to LIDG or LIDGE. Well, I just put it on a short while ago and...yes, it reminded me of toned-down version of LIDG when it opened, but the LIDG vibe quickly subsided after 5-10 minutes. Still, it's a really nice men's woody-spicy-aromatic fragrance that folks should consider. Heck, it's only $20.
@@kennethhenderson5098 As far as unsolicited compliments from the younger gals...no! Hawas reigns supreme as my most complimented fragrance. I am really enjoying Parfums de Marly Layton (one of my newer additions) but, surprisingly, it only receives a small fraction of the number as Hawas...but I don't care because it's awesome. Not too many people are talking about it these days, but Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme comes closest to matching the number of unsolicited compliments that I receive with Hawas: However, Hawas is best received by the ladies from 16-30, while Eau Extreme is better suited for the ladies 25+ Allure Homme Eau Extreme is just an awesome, awesome, awesome fragrance if you don't already have a bottle, and if you're willing to part with $120 for a bottle. Sadly, I recently used my 5 Oz. bottle of the EDT (which would last for 7-8 hours)...but the newer EDP (part of Chanels revamped lineup) only lasts 3-4 hours on my skin. Also, the EDT was a bit brighter and crisper. I don't know if they still make the EDT...but I'm looking for another bottle.
@@kennethhenderson5098 Kenneth, I am delighted that Hawas has worked out so well for you mate. I would also recommend Dunhill Icon, and Daarej by Rasasi. Let me know a bit more about yourself and then I can give you a few more recommendations. Do you live in a cold country btw?
Great line up. I tried a Midnight in Paris decant and unfortunately this scent just didn't do anything for me. It seemed uncreative, overly simple although refined and had no punch whatsoever. I will be trying it again in the near future before I give my official review. Also as to Man in Black, I don't believe tobacco is officially listed by Bvlgari but we do often get unlisted notes or at least similar vibes to a known note or accord in certain scent creations. Anyhow, great list. Keep up the classy work AC! BTW I really enjoy Man in Black for sure and Icon as well! Cheers.
I echo your sentiments on MIP in the outdoors but under the shirt 3-4 sprays smell magical. Specially in close encounter situations ;). I am with you on MIB and ICON both are amazing cheapies and I recommend them with confidence to everyone who asks.
@@ACSmellsGood You're welcome. I am working on a channel to review fragrances in French. So those cheapies are great for the general public.(@mister_sarr on IG). Cheers.
good luck with your channel and i am glad this video gave you some ideas. Your IG handle gives me a fashion model. Is that you ? I am @acsmellsgood , lets connect.
Hi. Very good list thanks for that. There's one fragrance that had alot of hype and two years ago i purchased it midnight in Paris. Nice bottle but was very very disappointed in it. As you said doesn't last what so ever. I was very disappointed in that fragrance. I always start of hi, what was your name? 👍
Have u try men in Black essence How was it compare with MIB? HM does this one old fashion scent,30and up mature women will love,or younger crowd Tks ac Great taste
I have tried Black Essenec and I own a bottle, I will review it soon. MIB is a better scent IMHO. HM is for young guys, although it was released 21 years ago. Awesome clubbing scent! I have done a full review , check it out.
I picked up a bottle of Bentley intense recently which has been reformulated. I seem to be getting decent performance on my skin. Sorry it's not working for you, I too have felt the pain of unrequited love for a fragrance that just wants to leave you.
Sir, your content remains terrific. If I may suggest to please invest in a proper microphone, it will bring your channel to the next level. All the best.
I absolutely plan to my friend. The problem is i have a point and shoot Camera which doesn't have an Audio Jack. I am saving up for a new Camera, and then the Audio should be even better hopefully.
Good evening my friend. Good video, there are some scents here that i'll definitely have to check out. As far as compliments go, the best reactions i've had are from the cheapest fragrance i own Now thats annoying! The scent is Club de Nuit Intense by Armaf. It cost £30 for 100ml. My first impression was Flash Lemon disinfectant (not good) but that calms down after 20 minutes and i get a compliment almost every time i wear it. And it lasts for hours. Check it out chum. Ciao for now.
I couldn't agree more with you mate, CDNIM is one of my absolute favorites. I covered it in my battle for Aventus Clones videos, a guaranteed compliment garner. Felt good reading your comment :)
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I just found your channel this morning and look forward to seeing some more. Your amiable presentation style is a credit to you. All the best.
Munish, I trust your nose mate, I recently got my FB of Morhaf and its very nice. Will try to get Junoon Velvet soon :). Which formulation of Habit Rouge do you prefer? EDP or EDT?
Sry but I am a Indian college going student you provide good information but still I think I can't afford it I don't know why - it maybe cheap but in India we don't get those perfume easyly and if it is available it cost more than 3.5k all of them......
Funny you say that Chad, I used to own a BMW 5 series a couple of years ago that had white dakota leather interiors and whenever I put on Habit Rouge and drive to work I would feel somehow me , the car and the scent were in perfect sync :). Great call mate !
You're not going to find Midnight in Paris edt for £30 anymore. New bottles are going for more than twice that now. Most in this thread from last year seem to think that Bentley Intense was reformulated. www.basenotes.net/threads/448626-Are-there-two-versions-of-Bentley-Intense
Oh my! I just checked the prices and they have more than doubled mate :(. Thanks for sharing the link on Bentley. Looks like I am the unlucky one to get a reformulated bottle.
@@ACSmellsGood I have the 2017 bottle and wondered where the great performance was that all reviewers rave about! The same goes for CK Shock. I've written on numerous forums and in comments to videos that the reviews are pointless unless the reviewer mentions the batch code/bottle date of the fragrance they're reviewing. Too much has been reformulated into weaker scents, and the review will just frustrate the viewer if he buys a newer bottle. Secondly, too many newcomers aren't aware of batch codes and need to be educated about it. The industry certainly does everything they can to keep those bottle dates a secret with that archaic batch code structure.
You could try facebook groups dedicated to fragrances in India, I know they are very popular. I am not on FB otherwise I would have told you the name of the groups but you can do a search.
Hi Pradeep, I do not think so. there are many alternatives and if you really want to go very high quality alternative then try Pineapple Vintage Intense its very nice or you could always get CDNIM.
I have all Dunhill Icons i.e. Icon, Absolute,Elite and Racing. These are good fragrances but not worth of what they are asking today. At Debenhams or Notino they are looking like £80 for 100 ml which is just ridiculous. New line is even more expensive. I tried Brithis leather and is good, but wouldn't pay the money od like €100 for 100 ml (I've seen some mad idiots selling this for €250 even), as you can get better frags for these money.
If you ever get a chance, please try and check this one out. It's about $11.00 on Fragrancenet, and I think it's fantastic! www.fragrancenet.com/cologne/estee-lauder/mustang-performance/edt#286260
Smells Good; Cheers for the reply. I am glad I came across your video(s) you are one of if not the best fragrance reviewer on youtube👍🏽 Lastly, Body Kouros by YSL is the most seductive incense fragrance according to the amount of compliments I receive. It’s so good that my wife always steals the bottle because she also receives numerous compliments... both formulations are good but it is more of a spring, fall and winter fragrance.
@@ACSmellsGood rumz, Al wisam and la yuqawarn. Also had Hawas for a month it's amazing. I was into armaf but they smell lower quality compared to Rasasi. Any other you recommend from this house?
@@ACSmellsGood I was in Thailand almost whole December, I've checked out whole line of Pryn Parfumes, amazing house and so talented perfumer. The only regret is that they are so pricey.

Hi Jim, Long time mate, hope you are doing well :).
I am glad you own Bella Notte, its a true hidden Gem :).
Have you found anything that measures up Hawas. Ive had much success with that thanks to you. Looking for something new anything else
Not too many people are talking about it these days, but Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme comes closest to matching the number of unsolicited compliments that I receive with Hawas: However, Hawas is best received by the ladies from 16-30, while Eau Extreme is better suited for the ladies 25+
Allure Homme Eau Extreme is just an awesome, awesome, awesome fragrance if you don't already have a bottle, and if you're willing to part with $120 for a bottle.
Mr Jim, I appreciate all the free game your imparting upon the fragrance community. Keep up the good work.
Always great videos and you really have taste!
Thank you my friend and appreciate the kind words :).
Great list!
Thank you Khalid !
Hi i recommend you try out lattafa lail malaki it is stunning and a beast performer
Thank you Ahmed, will try it :)
Try once colourme midnight blue .....
Nice list my friend👍🏻...still hunting down that Van Cleef & Arpels midnight in paris🚩
Good Luck Marius, well worth sampling :).
Hi. Very good list thanks for that. There's one fragrance that had alot of hype and two years ago i purchased it midnight in Paris. Nice bottle but was very very disappointed in it. As you said doesn't last what so ever. I was very disappointed in that fragrance. I always start of hi, what was your name? 👍
Thank you Nahida. Yes, the MIP has pretty moderate performance unfortunately but smells sooo good. I sometimes feel the same disappointment.
Never thought of Habit Rouge as a "budget" fragrance but you're right, it's ridiculously cheap! Best value for money for all gentlemen:))
yeah, me too Stefan, its probably the best Cheapie, but only in price not in Smell. Its par excellence :). We both love and cherish this one don't we?
Stefan, do try and get hold of Bella Notte if you can mate :).
@@ACSmellsGood Definitely, if I could have only one, it would be Habit Rouge:) Will add Bella Notte to my watch list, thanks AC!
Good Luck Stefan, and oh add Habit Rouge EDP to the list aswell if you haven't already sampled it :).
@@ACSmellsGood I know edp. It's a great scent on itself but in my head just a lesser version of the original😂
Have u try men in Black essence
How was it compare with MIB?
HM does this one old fashion scent,30and up mature women will love,or younger crowd
Tks ac
Great taste
I have tried Black Essenec and I own a bottle, I will review it soon. MIB is a better scent IMHO.
HM is for young guys, although it was released 21 years ago. Awesome clubbing scent! I have done a full review , check it out.
Question : Is there a difference between the HM EDT and EDP?
I believe so but I haven't tried the EDT.
@@ACSmellsGood O yeah. EDP better
great list, i own dunhill icon and mont blanc individuel(which i will wear tomorrow).
Nice one, both are awesome :)
Bentley for Men is a Beast...I literally have to scrub it off. Almost as strong as Joop on my skin.
I picked up a bottle of Bentley intense recently which has been reformulated. I seem to be getting decent performance on my skin. Sorry it's not working for you, I too have felt the pain of unrequited love for a fragrance that just wants to leave you.
Yeah man, this one I hope changes hahahah. Everyone else seems to get solid performance from it :)
@@ACSmellsGood In my view there are plenty of fish in the sea to be getting hung up on a cheapie. Let the plebs have it!
Hahaah, your comment had me LOL. i will do so my friend :)
Absolute pleasure my friend, and I am glad you discovered my channel. I am hoping you like the rest of the videos :). Many thanks for your support.
Hey AC, hope you're doing well. Could you please make a top 10 recommendation video of barbershop fragrances? Thank you
Hi buddy, absolutely can do, I have a huge number of barbershop fragrances in my list and I quite like your suggestion :)
@@ACSmellsGood Awesome, shall look forward to it. Thanks a bunch :)
Pleasure is all mine :)
Bro i will try dunhill icon on a date outdoors how much sprays bro? 5 or 6 are good? 3 on neck 3 on shirt for example
Icon would be an amazing choice mate, specially in this weather. I think 6 to 8 would be ideal. I would add 2 to the hair as well. Good Luck !
Smells Good thank you my brother
I love dunhill icon bro any time summer winter any time
Great list sir as usual.. I Love Habit Rouge both edp and edt.. niche quality straight up.. sir pls try junoon velvet by Rasasi.. it’s a bomb!
Hi, Yes, i understand, perfumes can be expensive. You could try Armaf and rasasi fragrances, which are quite affordable I think.
Good reviews...you the best!
Thank you Daniel :)
Heya perfect as always 😄😄
hahaha, look whoz here :). how are you doing mate :). good to see you!
Habit rouge should have been called habit Blanc...it smells like cream-colored leather...I love it too👌
Funny you say that Chad, I used to own a BMW 5 series a couple of years ago that had white dakota leather interiors and whenever I put on Habit Rouge and drive to work I would feel somehow me , the car and the scent were in perfect sync :). Great call mate !
👌 stunning list.
Thanks Chad, and have a great Sunday!
The industry certainly does everything they can to keep those bottle dates a secret with that archaic batch code structure.
can u suggest ebay sellers to buy from ?
I generally tend to look at the feedback of the sellers and then buy from them , I personally do not have any preferred buyers to be honest.
@@ACSmellsGood do u visit india ??
Great
Thank you Julio :)
Where do we get all these in India
Nadir there are many online shops like Amazon, just do a google and I am sure you will be able to find shops near you.
Not all are available.. is there any specific site that you know.
You could try facebook groups dedicated to fragrances in India, I know they are very popular. I am not on FB otherwise I would have told you the name of the groups but you can do a search.
@@ACSmellsGood Thank you Sir
bro creed aventus really worth of money ??

And that too fragrance reviews ! I am impressed
@@ACSmellsGood yeah mate 😉

Why is Body Kouros so underrated?...
No idea mate, and I havent tried it as well.
NO ITS NOT YOUR SKIN...BECAUSE I'M GETTING THE SAME THING.....THEY DID SOMETHING TO BENTLEY INTENSE
Looks that way Jerry, heres a thread on that www.basenotes.net/threads/448626-Are-there-two-versions-of-Bentley-Intense
@@ACSmellsGood IT'S A SHAME ANOTHER GREAT FRAGRANCE DOWN THE TUBES
Get another bottle from somewhere else, that Bentley is a beast.
I will have to Glenn because I am intensely jealous of all the people getting beastly performance out of the Bentley Intense :)).
@@ACSmellsGood Yeah it's worth it. Btw I just got some rasasi thanks to your reviews, can't wait to try them.
@@GlennMartin Let me know what you thought of the Rasasis. Which ones did you get btw?
@@ACSmellsGood rumz, Al wisam and la yuqawarn. Also had Hawas for a month it's amazing. I was into armaf but they smell lower quality compared to Rasasi. Any other you recommend from this house?

Nice one Jakub, good to see you after a long time :).
@@ACSmellsGood I was in Thailand almost whole December, I've checked out whole line of Pryn Parfumes, amazing house and so talented perfumer. The only regret is that they are so pricey.
Bentley is terrible, died after 10minutes on me.
None of them are economical
