Back in late 90s, I was in a church youth group from KC Missouri, we had a youth choir and during the summer we would take bus tours to different places and churches with community work. This one year, it was Chicago. We sang at a church, can't remember which one. But community service was going to Cabrini Green and going to paint over spray paint inside the building. Mind you, I was barely in my teens and this was a random church group not from the area whatsoever. And people were actually very nice to us, but I couldn't help but feel it was disrespectful to residents there. We meant no harm, but I still feel like we were doing something intrusive. I'd like to apologize to anyone who may have lived there and felt we were invading private space or being disrespectful by being there. We were a random group of kids in there and I just can't help but feel apologetic, if it offended anyone or was disrespectful.

So it was stacked up to like the 10th floor. He also said I think the mayor lived in the projects for a short period of time 😂. But yea hearing my dad's stories is like a movie lol
