Thanos was menacing, but Green Goblin is straight up dangerous and terrifying, Willem Dafoe really killed it both times.
Spider-Man’s version of Joker. Only really realized this after this movie
Thanos is Lawful Evil. Goblin is Chaotic Evil.
Yeah Goblin has Black air force energy. Dafoe is chilling. Amazing talent

This movie made me sad that Andrew Garfield didn’t get a good script for his movies, I LOVED him in this movie and wish I was able to see more of him in the MCU
The moment he saved MJ is the best moment in this movie hands down imo. Andrew got his redemption through this movie
him and tobey will be back
@@klicicar8590 We can hope
@@deronn.j6088 That moment made me tear up ngl.
Facts
Nobody talks about the greatness that was the Otto/Tobey scene on the statue. The father/son like aspect of their relationship is what made 2 the tragedy it was. Giving them closure, with Tobey talking about him just trying to be better. So much in that little scene.
That scene almost made me tear up and made me smile just in sheer joy
Best scene in the movie by a mile
Thank you, I came here exactly to say this. I can't believe he didn't say a single thing about it!!
The best scene in the 🎬
Filipino here. Just on that bit about Ned on #37 at 22:25 - The shield with all the different small 'swords' displayed on Ned's living room is actually called "Weapons of Moroland," which is actually a typical souvenir gift and is one of the telltale signs how "Filipino" a household is, so not really "ancient." But if we look at the origin of the Weapons of Moroland, each miniature model of displayed weapons are those historically used by warrior tribes from the indigenous peoples of Mindanao in the Philippines, the "Moro" people who resisted colonialism of the Spaniards. So displaying one over your living room wall can also mean resistance to colonialism. Each WoM is similar in design, but often differs in the material used, size of each sword and shield.
Also, Ned's 'lola' says to Ned in Tagalog "isa kang salamangkero" matter-of-factly which literally means "yer a wizard, Ned." In Philippine mythology, a 'salamangkero' is a powerful magician / sorcerer /mage / wizard, who casts spells and has similar powers as Dr. Strange does. Some indigenous tribes today still believe in the otherwordly powers of a salamangkero. In modern popular culture, however, to call someone a 'salamangkero' means someone so skilled it's almost magic.
Ned did mention his grandma said there was magic in his family, so maybe one of his ancestors is actually a salamangkero. :)
That could be true because we did have babaylans(nature sorcerers) in the past before the whole colonization thing so it could be possible that Babaylans know actual magic in the MCU. Also I died at "yer a wizard, Ned" that was hilarious
Tru2
awesome insight, thank you!
as a filipino myself its really fun understanding what neds lola said and the other people saying lola aswell
There is apparently a group of Filipino superheroes in the comics - some of which being sorcerers. This is a good future way to use Ned.
That scene when Peter gets his spidey sense about Norman Turing into goblin was one of the most anxiety inducing scenes I’ve seen on screen. It was perfect.
That ish was CRAZY..
This was crazy asf just showing how broken Spider-Man’s spider sense is
I'm glad u brought that up. That was one of the most intense scenes in the movie. It was also almost a second introduction to the Green goblin without the mask like this is the real Green goblin.
i swear to God it was
I felt like I was in a trance, beautiful
I love that Doc Ock went full hero in this film. Truly gave him the full redemption he never really got.
Didn't Doc Ock sacrifice himself to save the others in the end?
@@Cplblue Yeah but that just didn't feel enough. This movie brings to true closure to Doc Ock and his fans.
@@laisensei6984 true
@@laisensei6984 I guess I don't really see it that way. He's gone back to his universe where he meets the same fate.
Same, it was epic
It was really fun to see Willem Dafoe fully unleash the unhinged nature of Green Goblin in this movie. His villain persona felt somewhat limited in Raimi's iteration, but he he was no holds barred this time around.
I wonder if Dafoe asked for that sa a way of being able to do more with the character?
The Mask /headpiece is what held him back. Dafoe's facial expression and acting are triple A stuff.
@@s1d3k1ckRO agreed i will always love the original costume from the 1st movie but his faces he did was amazing and just showed how unhinged the goblin is god it was so good
Absolutely no one phoned in their performance.
Yes, imagine thinking any mask is more terrifying than Willem Dafoe's face.
If Peter had asked Strange to erase everyone's memories of Mysterio this movie would have been only 10 minutes
Don’t let cinema sins see this
🤣bamboozled💀
Hahahha this!!!!!
people would still know his secret identity, they just wouldn't know how they know his identity
This entire movie wouldn’t have happened if Strange had just improved his communication lol
Not gonna lie. Andrew saving MJ had me in my feels. They gave him the redemption he really needed.
ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!!!
cried for that shit
I was about to cry for that and seeing that scene in this video again almost made me cry again. 😭
My favourite scene
True, I think about that scene a lot ...
Andrew's Spidey getting that redemption save, and showing on his face how much he needed that. OMG I melted, was beautiful and perfect.
Movie didn't just carry out its own plot, but the plot of its crossovers.
Garfield said more with that soulful look than he could ever have said with words. It was beautiful.
I loved this scene.
i cried my eyes out on that scene it was just to much for me all in once 🥺🥺🥺
he is such a swetie pie
One detail I noticed is that on Tom's Spidey and Green Goblin's final fight, he was always webbing/disabling Goblin's feet; which was Tony Stark's tip on Peter when fighting Captain America (a very strong and experienced fighter) in Civil War.
Another good spot!
I really loved that the writers treated Tobey Maguire's Spiderman with utmost respect.
because his version of the character was the most accurate and most sympathetic. all other interpretations are very badly done mediocrities.
@@diddymuck was his version REALLY the most accurate though? Or are we just fanboying over movies here? I really am a huge fan of Mcguire's version Spiderman since he is the OG in my generation, but I am also not blind to the reality that, in many aspects, his version is not exactly comic-accurate.
@@diddymuck TM's Spiderman deserves the respect for being as nostalgic it is in cinema. His version could and should be honored for generations. But to claim it is the most accurate, is a silly and super biased conclusion.

Andrew Garfields face when he saved MJ gets me everytime. It really turned me around to appreciate him more. And also the way he described his mindset after losing Gwen. It elevated his character.
“At some point, I stopped pulling my punches”
I was absolutely less-than-enthused about the Amazing movies, but damn, it was so good to see that.
I loved that scene
impossible not to cry every time I see his face in that scene
Andrew is the amazing spiderman. Emphasis on amazing. Been a fan since day 1.
Tobey celebrating Tom being in The Avengers without knowing what it is and calling Andrew amazing is just so wholesome. I also missed Andrew's natural jolliness. Now I really wanted TASM3
Say it with me "I'm amazing"
Wouldn’t it be tasm3
woops ur right
Yeah we need a tasm3 following no way home
Sounds like TASM3 would have been dark and bloody! Glad Andrew's SM was able to save MCU'S MJ and give his character some closure and peace that he deserved. Loved the movie 100%
I liked that Dafoe's Goblin stopped Peter from saving MJ similar to how Dehaan's Goblin did in Amazing Spiderman 2. This move did a really good job of adding linear continuity between universes in a lot of different ways.
This movie reminded me of how much I grieved over Gwen. Andrew saving MJ was the closure I needed.
Just like how Andrew’s Peter redeemed himself by saving Michelle, Tobey’s Peter redeemed himself by stopping the glider from killing Norman.
I was hoping Tobey and Willam would talk after that but I think Tobey filmed his scenes later in development so it wasn't possible. Even when he got stabbed it was shot at a weird angle
Oh wow I completely missed that meaning with Tobey holding the glider. Now that just makes a meaningful moment even more better.
Or maybe we can say that he jumped in just like Harry jumped in for him in Spiderman 3 and saved Norman from actually getting killed by a glider just like Harry got killed by Eddie!
And also regretting that glider killing norman caused his issues with Harry so whatta great scene for Tobey's spiderman!
Initially I thought he was going to save Ned instead of Stranges robe but the subtle approach of Tobey saving Norman from being impaled like he was, was a great touch
@@mikeyaggams1130 Yeah Tobey saving ned meant
Andrew saving love interest of Tom when he failed to save his own
Tobey saving best friend of Tom
when he saw his own leave him forever
It still feels unreal to see Andrew,, Tobey and Tom together
Andrew be like: its just cgi
I keep thinking it was a dream
But it was awesomely real
@@ArkiraMusashi 😂 lol
This was the best movie of all time. Tobey getting himself stabbed to save Tom’s conscience… wow. My audience erupted when they showed up. Can’t wait to see what they do with Venom
I still can’t believe it.
I feel its kind of understated that Tobey stopping Tom with the glider shows small struggle, it’s as if Tom is young and can’t control his rage the way Tobeys learned, and it implies Tobey despite never losing control, had a higher strength than Tom.
He'd also been spiderman for much longer. He's way more experienced than Tom.
That, but the theme is always "this is what we do", "this is what we are", in other words, trying to purposely kill somebody is so alien to what spiderman 'is', that he really didn't have the strength to do it.
Tobey's face during the glider shove scene is so real. It's not about "why are you doing this?" but more "you're better than this."
In my head i hear Mr.Aziz: "No no no stop stoooop!"
I got so much chills when Green Goblin kept laughing after Peter hit him, straight up terrifying
seriously.... dafoe is incredible.
EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGH!!! his viciousness in that fight scene was amazing.
reminded me of his performance in The Lighthouse
I simply love dafoe's green goblin...so bad ass and pounded Tom's spiderman so badly. He treats Holland's Spiderman like a kid and a waste of a time. 🤣

Spiderman: NWH is definitely one of the best Marvel movies I've seen! No way does it even come close to infinity wars....or endgame.... I felt it was very generic, very "hollywood" and just not that good....
I absolutely ADORED the interaction between Tobey, Andrew, and Tom. They legitimately behave like actual brothers. Tobey the older, more dopey, but supportive one who managed to make his life work out somehow. Andrew the middle, more eccentric, outgoing one working through some personal shit. And of course Tom the younger, more curious, and innocent one with so much untapped potential. I really want to see Tom reunite with Tobey and Andrew again. Perhaps in a Secret Wars movie?
What’s secret wars?

Green Goblins presence was quite terrifying and It’s hard to say that about any other MCU villain. Absolutely wonderful
Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin is terrifying and so perfect. that fight in the condo was brutal
The only other one I can think of that genuinely had me scared and worried for our heroes is thanos
@@jeremyroberts8822 thanos was menacing for sure. But Goblin was totally unhinged and pure violence
He was menacing. He hasn’t even done anything yet but Peter’s spidey senses we’re on high alert. Just his intent was enough to give off intense danger.
Also, his motives were just like Joker’s in the Killing Joke, where anyone’s susceptible to the dark side and all it takes is some tragedy. Which is another indication that Dafoe would have been an excellent Joker.
I loved how brutal Tom and Green Goblin’s fights were. The punches were so powerful and shows Tom fighting like we’ve never seen before. They were so cool.

Tobeys spiderman was so uplifting and encouraging, his cheesiness and humble nerd-like nature really shined.
Andrew's quirky, fun sarcastic spiderman really stood out to me. His baggage from the past movies and low self confidence following him from TASM2 was genius.

Oh gosh, Andrew Garfield is my favorite Speedyman... The way he chatted through the fights and separated his nerdy side from the speedy side was brilliant. I loved him has Spiderman, and was super excited that he was in this with Toby... :P
During the fight between Goblin and Peter in Happy's apartment building, there's a brief moment between Peters punches where the Goblin loses his crazed smile and Norman regains control. It really shows how great of an actor Willem Dafoe is and its one of my favorite things about NWH.
The entire movie was an emotional rollercoaster. It's really nice to see Tobey, Andrew and Tom get along so well both in real life and in the cinematic universe.

Hello
It makes sense that Willem did a lot of the action sequences, the Goblin fight at Happy's apartment felt so much more brutal than normal. He must have realized at some point that he's a much better body movement actor than his stunt doubles. You could really feel the power that Peter was up against, in that and the final fight. At 66 years old, this is pretty god damn impressive.
the impact of each interaction is amazinggg
It's crazy since Dafoe did all his stunts himself

You missed a subtle detail when the spidermen were first working together and screwing up Andrew was webbed in the face by Toby and Andrew says “ew” as he rips it off to see which is a call back to the organic webbing grossing him out. Just thought I’d say that since I love the detail they put in and wanted to share it with others.
Nah it was andrew webbing tobey and tobey said "gross"
It's actually the opposite. Tobey was webbed in the face by Andrew. Andrew calling out sorry whilst swinging away and Tobey saying "Gross"
A Spiderman having the taste of his own medicine to be precise.
Another detail I find very interesting is every outfit May wears throughout the movie has red and/or blue in it. As a nod to peters classic red and blue suit and leads to the final suit being the original colors again

Toby saved Tom from killing someone and the pain/regret of having to live with that for the rest of his life. These events were so cathartic... they saved Tom but I also feel like Toby and Andrew healed themselves through their actions. Glad this movie is doing as well as it is and I hope Hollywood learns a lesson from this movie's success!

You missed an Easter egg - actually almost everyone I know who's seen the movie missed this one. When McGuire and Garfield web each on first meeting, McGuire aims his webbing at Garfield's web shooters, because he instinctively realised Garfield's webbing is not organic and therefore Garfield's shooters can be disabled.
i just noticed that today too after rewatching
I don’t know though because later on when Tom and Andrew are amazed he can produce his own webs he’s like wait you guys can’t do that?

I noticed when Norman Osbourne was talking to Aunt May at the help centre. He is talking about not knowing where he is and the fact he went looking for his home and his work building. Which he says wasn't there. I'm wondering if this is a clue that the Avengers building was not bought by Oscorp but more likely bought by the Fantastic 4. Surely Norman would notice if the massive Avengers tower had the Oscorp logo on it.
I just simply cannot believe how this movie made me feel like I was 8 years old again. Thank you to everyone who makes the MCU what it is and gives fans like me and so many others this feeling.
It was great to see the heroes and villains of so long ago back in their roles. The 5 movies that came before have a lot of great moments despite only a couple duds and even those are classic. It was fitting to go back to them now. Would be great to see a Raimi directed standalone with an older Tobey Spiderman.
It's funny how I remember when this movie title was first announced people thought it was a joke.
Now people are going around acting like it's the best hero movie or Spiderman movie ever made.
Amazing how things can change fairly quickly, but yeah this was a cool way to tie up the older Spidey films.
It's also funny how no fanboys are whining about white washing a black character.
But I guess because it's a minor Damage Control agent it shouldn't matter too much.
@@KingOfCoolness the character's should remain the same. But, none of it would piss me off as bad if there were not agendas behind it.
I know exactly how you feel. I got back from the theatre today and have just been thinking about it since. It’s really everything I hoped for. The MCU movies are like the kind of movies I wanted to see as a kid, how I imagined a film version of the comics would look. I’m really impressed with how they handle everything, and now this with the multiverse, alternate timelines, and realities. I never thought a superhero franchise would tackle the more complicated stuff the comics gets into. It’s so cool to see it. This movie really hit all the right notes. I think my favorite was seeing peters astral body, how powerfully linked he is to his body in that state, and also the wavy spidey sense lines coming off his head like heat wave distortions. So friggin’ cool!!!
In everything in spiderman history, the Garfield Gwen Stacy scene hit me the hardest, such a powerful, painful scene.
When Garfield caught MJ, I cried tears of happiness like a baby, my favorite scene in the movie.
To be fair, that scene was good, but the writing was complete trash for those fight scenes and they threw in Harry Osbourne as a villain for like 30 seconds lmao. I think Andrew deserves another film for his universe to make up for how bad the second one was.

It's great how the people behind this story came up with the idea. They used the reason why people disliked the other Spidey series as a way to make them redeem themselves. It's like the so called "mistakes" from the other Spideys were meant to be just for this movie 🤯
11:24 I took it the opposite way-it could mean that while scarlet witch is stronger than the current sorcery supreme (wong) but that doesn’t include dr strange
I look at Tobey stopping Tom from killing Goblin in two ways. Tobey mentioned his struggles of learning to get thru the darkness and he doesn’t want Tom to end up in the same place Tobey was. Another way is that in Spiderman (2002), Tobey was shocked to see the Goblin getting pierced by his glider. Tobey only had time to dodge the glider but couldn’t save Norman. In this movie, Tobey managed to stop the same thing from happening to Norman. So like Andrew, Tobey also kinda sort of got his redemption.
Yea plus after norman was cured it cuts to Tobeys face and he gave a sigh of relief when he was laying down, I felt like that was a good detail added in
It was Andrew who said he didn’t want Tom to end up like him, not Tobey. It was due to Gwen’s death that he stopped pulling his punches and became bitter.
@@TheBWAGroup that moment when Andrew gets to save MJ 😥
@@TheBWAGroup I think what he means is just that the point of that conversation is to make Tom Holland’s Peter understand that they both have faced hardships whether it be from losing someone or the challenge that comes with controlling the rage those losses can cause for Peter that they both do not want him to isolate himself and seek revenge that is in vein. Therefore, Tobey’s Peter also wants him to not end up like him although yes I does not get said in words I feel that was his intention in relating to his loss.
I thought his redemption was with Marco
Why is noone mentioning how Tobeh Maguires Peter and Ned's grandma seem to know each other
7:30 wow I completely missed how good of a ventriloquist Peter is.
The scene where Garfield saves MJ is pure gold. The acting by Garfield in it is absolutely top class as well. The emotion he's able to transmit in such a short period of time with just that facial expression is downright masterful.
His acting is always good. That's why he is the SM goat
Andrew Garfield is a phenomenal actor but his director for tasm 1 and 2 is garbage.
Holland was the best Spiderman, Tobey the best Peter Parker
This is the one scene in the movie where I nearly cried
That scene tears me up and it’ll definitely tear me up on future watches. Garfield’s acting really sold that scene.
the scene where Tom's spiderman was on top of Goblin's shoulders punching him in the face continuously just to see him smile widely back and start laughing was actually scary.
It’s important to note that aside from aliens, Tom had never punched a person until Goblin. He always uses his webs, kicks and random things around him to fight his villains. And the Goblin took each of those blows like they were nothing.
It also looked like a fight between Winter Soldier and Black Widow!
@@oriuwu exactly and at that time bucky wasn't himself just like norman. 🤯
And you can feel how scared Peter is too!
@@ItzWickedness until the final fight scene
15:00 I just noticed Doc Ock wedges the door into the car he slams, setting it free from the webbing .
I just wanna say that this was definitely in the top 3 best movies of all time with me. I just watched it today, and my mind is absolutely blown. Incredible story work and writing.
I've found myself thinking multiple times today "....Did that movie actually happen???? Or did I imagine it all???" cuz it's so hard to believe that a movie with such high expectations and so much hype actually surpassed what the fans thought was possible. Can't wait to see it again!!
RIGHT?!
Same thought I'm literally stuck with ever since & I wasn't even as hyped as I am now about. I mainly was excited about the multiverse aspect but this now leaves me being that more excited for MoM and future installments
I still feel like I'm dreaming.
Omg same! It feels like a dream that they brought not only all the classic villains but the Spidermen too like this is every kids dream, it's too good to be true
And also how well this movie was, it was just so perfect, I can almost die peacefully now 😂
Ik right
Of all the moments in this film, I think Andrew's Spiderman getting another chance to save a loved one was one of the hardest hitting. He spent a lot of time beating himself up over what happened with Gwen, and much like Obi Wan when his master died, he replayed that moment over and over again in his head, wondering what he could've done differently. Then he got his chance and went head first into it. Very well done.
i like how Tobey keep telling Andrew, "You are not lame".
That weird left turn your paragraph took was jarring
This comment is so nerdy I love it
This is Andrew's movie.
@@every8160 Him following that up with "Amazing" was a clever line.
I love multiple things about his movie like how Tom took inspiration form both Toby and Andrew not only for his suit but also for life. I also love how Andrew saved mj because that relieved some of the grief Andrew had from killing Gwen.
I'm actually happy for Doc ock and how Peter restored his mental state. You really see how some of these villains are at war with themselves and are not truly evil, instead they're just lost and unstable.
Sandman wasnt even doing villanous stuff he just wanted to go home lol
And he was smart enough to put something in the chip that it won't get overcharged and shorted out!
Goblin and Electro are absolute menaces
Ehh, the Green Goblin definitely seems evil asf to me. Norman is just confused, but his alter Goblin persona is a cruel, manipulative, and sick entity. The Goblin is the type of being to kill your family and then laugh about it.
That what makes the film beautiful ❤️💙❤️💙
Another thing to note about Tobey blocking Tom from killing the Goblin is that the way Tom tries to kill the Goblin, as in impaling him with his own glider, is the same way he died in Tobey's world. So here Tobey is literally getting a second chance to undo the mistake he made in letting Osborne be impaled by the glider, getting his own chance at redemption much like Andrew.
AND it references when harry jumped in the way to take the blow from venom to save peter, such good writing
i love how toby stops the glider and just looks at tom without saying anything, that eye contact was everything
All of the villains survived got damn it’s not that serious.
Yea they all redeemed themselves. I think it was an over arching theme. Especially when Tom says "Everyone deserves a 2nd chance" on the news. Andrew saving MJ when he failed with Gwen. Tobey saving osborn and Tom at the same time. And lastly Tom saving his morality, the universes, and his aching revenge for what goblin did to his Aunt.
Wasn't he has spidey sense? How can he got stabbed?
I do feel like Peter will inevitably start by telling Happy before MJ and Ned, because of the whole thing with Tony, but of course, there is going to be a point where those 3 will be told, or maybe not.
i just hope that tom plays spidey again for the next movie
From a movie PACKED with goodies, seeing Carlie Cox's Matt Murdoch tickled me in all the right places.
I was REALLY hoping for more of him in the film
I literally watched this movie in 3 different ways:
Me as a little boy when watched Tobey’s Spidey
Me as a Teenager watching Andy’s Spidey
And now as a young adult with my 2 little boys watching Tom’s Spidey, Teaming up with my past self’s favourite hero(s)! This was a real treat of a life time.
Same here I was losing my mind repeatedly and with the goofyist smiles 😜
Thats exactly how I feel about it! I was 7 when the first Tobey Maguire film came out and my dad took me to the theater to watch it. It was awesome😎 now 20 years later I was able to take my 7 year old to theaters to watch this movie with all my favorites plus the newer generation Spidermen that he loves. It was a great moment.🤗
It was so surreal!!
I loved seeing them all together, it was awesome
Yes, this is exactly how i feel tooooo!!!!
Andrew joking around with lizard and electro was so refreshing. “Don’t worry I’ll be right back.” Before he swings up to help tobey
“Wait your turn”
Watching the three Spideys not knwo how too coordinate as a team was hilarious. I love the bit where Tom accidentally clips Andrew's webline then he proceeds to web Tobey's face, which he then finds gross.
I’ll admit my favorite part of the movie is when Holland was like I don’t mean to brag but I was in the avengers 🤣🤣 and Toby was like really that’s amazing!!! What’s the avengers🤣🤣🤣🤣
This movie changed my perspective on Andrew Garfield and his Spiderman series. That scene, holy crap his acting is just incredible. I feel so guilty for not giving him the opportunity to be a Spiderman because of my cling to Macguire. Now I can easily appreciate all three of them. Marvel, you did an excellent job!
Yeah you should feel guilty
*Sony you did an excellent job. 😉
To be fair the reason for me not liking TAS had little to do with Andrew
Charles, it’s not your fault for associating andrew as a bad spiderman because his movies were overall bad and it was hard to differentiate his acting skill a part from his bad spiderman films. Same with halle berry. She’s a great actress but a shitty catwoman thanks to the shitty script.
Yes. I loved all 3 of them. They brought different layers to a beloved character.
The " you're all grown up" line spoken by doc ock to tobey made me tear up like crazy! this spokee to my childhood and him saying trying to do better is all of us struggling with our lives trying to make the best of it that was a heartwarming moment
That's big facts
It was great seeing tobeys spidey back on the big screen! I thought his acting (along with everyone else) was on point
I hope Tobey will star in last Spiderman movie,he's the best Spidey imo.
It's so sad to see that no-one has any idea who Peter is. Never thought it would end like that.
the chills that rolled down my spine, the excitement and joy this movie brought to me. but most importantly the NOSTALGIA i felt watching this movie made it an unbelievable, amazing, and one of the greatest movie experiences in my life. definitely gave me the chills and hype similar to end game. i hope to see Toby and Andrew once again. thanks again Marvel
Nostalgia done right
Seeing them together I straight up had a smile on my face for almost the rest of the movie
i think the hype beat endgame imo not saying its a better movie tho, but ill just let these 2 movies be there own thing cuz im not ready to have that conversation/debate with myself yet
@@leithal5096 they are definitely up there
@@leithal5096 nah, this movie was a true crossover not endgame
I cried when he saved mj. His face seemed so genuine. I can't put into words the feelings I went through watching that scene
Because Andrew Garfield is an astounding actor. I only teared up after seeing his genuine face expressions
Powerful Performance! Great Movie 🔥🔥🔥
Gosh, yes. Other scenes made me feel things, but I was outright crying when they showed Andrew’s face there.
Cartharsis by proxy
Garfield made you FEEL the spider emotion on getting it right that time! I love the closure these characters get in this movie.
31:04 Another thing I thought was completely worth mentioning was that they also play the soundtrack from Tobey's Spiderman in this scene while we watch Flint be cured. I thought that was a real nice touch and it definitely gave me some Nostalgic emotions
"green elf" looks similar to Tom Holland's character in Pixar's Onward. Maybe a reference?
I just loved how this movie validated the other two Spider-Man’s. Every other reboot stories are always just standalone. Here the nostalgia kicks in high. This is just such a great movie, arguably the best cross over movie I have ever watched.
It bothers me seeing critics say “oh marvel is just taking back story from other movies and not doing the work themselves” LIKE NO marvel is going out of their way to make EVERY single one of the Spider-Man’s canon and real. Merging the stories together meticulously and bringing back characters from years ago and making consistent characters
I teared up when Doc Oc told Tobey that he was all grown up and he was proud of him. It truly felt like those actors talking to all the kids who have grown up since the original trilogy. WE’RE PROUD OF U TOO ALFRED & TOBEY! 🥲😭
I just watched this today. And oh boy it was really good. I felt emotional, hyped, happy, goosebumps and speechless. It just had everything i wanted. This movie gets a 9.5/10 for me.
You can actually see the spidy sense when he is separated from his real body and his astral form while avoiding Dr. Strange
That scene of Tobey and Andrew fading away (into their own universe) was the most emotional scene for me in the entire film. It felt so good seeing them becoming part of the MCU in a way & brought a happy end to their story arcs (IMO)
There's a rumor now that they want to do a 4th Tobey Spiderman movie :D
The same way in "Into the Spiderverse" when Miles sends Peter back home.
@@RedRoseSeptember22 that's not gonna happen (obviously) but I am still happy Toby's Peter Parker exists in one of the universe of MCU. Maybe a cameo here and there, who knows we might see Tobey again in the upcoming Doctor Strange film.
@@fleetSRT not “obviously” at all homeboy, look it up it’s more than likely
@@QuicheBoy why would it happen? Why waste time and money developing a spiderman thats not directly in the MCU
One thing I totally love about this movie, it's how they represented the Spider-Sense
Yeah. He trained it in Far From Home (also with closed eyes) and now he's Peter tingle professional. It was really cool.
the scene in happy’s apartment especially. literally felt so anxious
The amount of details in this movie was amazing. It must’ve took an entire team of people and months of work to put in every single hidden piece.

That display of ancient blades at Nanna/Lola’s house is a "Weapons of Moroland". It is a plaque or crest containing miniature models of weapons used by warriors from the indigenous peoples of Mindanao in the Philippines.
They gave us Marvel fans everything we wanted; to see Tobey, Andrew and Tom on screen together. Thank you for the summary of detail. I’m still trying to process this film, it was such a moment to be in a full cinema with Spiderman fans again.
yessssss everyone cried at the full theater in LA too
I agree 100%! In Denmark we usually don't cheer and clap when we're in the cinema, but people went CRAZY once Andrew and Tobey appeared on screen. Everybody kind of expected it to happen, but it was such an amazing surprise anyway! The villains were amazing as well, especially Green Goblin. Willem Dafoe is a wonderful actor.
@@Thomas-lk5cu yes people gasping and crying out loud and cheering and crying and laughing and it was wonderful there were almost no seats open even on Sunday
Amazing comment
my theater was empty and I was really sad I didn't get to experience the reaction :(
"For once cracking someone's back bone without killing them." Just shows Gwen's death real quick and moves on.
that joke was tooo cold and too soon HAHAHAHA
I know I was like: excuse me?👀
I STARTED CRYING
This was the comment I was looking for.
@@capwithoutacountry lmfao same I was about to give up yet here we are
Never in my wildest dreams that i would've think that i could see 3 spiderman in one movie, and spiderman hanging out with villains in a condominium. THIS MOVIE WAS INSANE. if you told me this in like 5 years prior, would've said its bs.
In my mind, a conversation between past me and current me would go like this:
A: "Spiderman is in the MCU now"
B: "Damn! Did they reboot it again?"
A: "Yes and no"
B: "What?"
