I didn’t know, that 110 ton counter weigh for that kind of work was enough. But if you put into consideration, the steel plate that holds the counter weights, plus the crane itself. About 190-200 tons of dead weight, if you add all that up, now I know why it can hold that much weight on the boom.

In the current case, I don't know?. but i was told this week that it cost about 60,000 (Swedish SEK) per day ( a little more than 6000 USD ) for a similar job here in southern Sweden

Das ist so ein bisschen, wie mit Kanonen auf Spatzen schießen. Mich hätte mal die grobe Rechnungssumme der Kranfirma für den einen Hub interessiert.
Wenn es billiger geht, hätte der Auftraggeber dass bestimmt gemacht.
Wonder if I would even dare use a Liebherr crane after their last HUGE FIASCO with the harbour crane, that was embarrasing and I lost confidence in them.
Wow, let's see your massive laydown yard full of multi million dollar pieces of equipment! They have been building cranes like the one shown in this video for a good long time , the one that experienced the failure is on a completely different level of bat shit crazy, it also wasnt the crane that failed but the hook. I believe the hook manufacture was sub contracted, yes , quality control probably wasnt what it should have been but that's why you test shit like that before actually doing a job .
