The Segre chart is where this fanciful ocean language like the "island of stability" originated and there are pictures from 1946 of Glenn Seaborg standing in front of a copy of it. If you'd like to play around with one, I believe Dr. Ed Simpson formerly of Australian National University has a 3D nuclide chart online.

The universe is wild, the fact that you can change 1 neutron to a proton and your element swaps from Carbon to Nitrogen, two elements that are so incredibly different in terms of their physical properties is crazy.
Nucléide is the french spelling, and you occasionally see it in English as well (without the accent aigu) in Canada (where BobbyBroccoli is from) although nuclide is definitely still much more common. The customs officer name change thing is also very common, not just a Seaborg thing. Your last name even could have been changed from Volz or Voltz which are surnames in Germany or the French border region. Quick bit of geneology research says the Folse name originates from German immigrants to the US in the 1800s, recently got interested in geneology and this stuff is interesting being able to trace your name changes, sometimes doesn't even happen with immigration just with anyone who didn't know how to read/write getting new documents. It was just especially common with immigrants as they would have had a wide variety of different names from different places, and would have happened more commonly earlier in history when fewer people could read/write to correct them!

Genealogists have looked at records from Ellis Island and other major ports, combed through mountains of paperwork and contemporary federal law at the time, and found that it's literally impossible for US customs officers to have ever done this, because US customs at the time _didn't record names of incoming entrants to the country._ Every instance they found of a family changing their name when arriving in America, it was always something a family did willingly later on during the naturalization process, not something pushed on them by a bureaucrat. It's just been this idea floating around ever since The Godfather Part II had a scene where it happened to the Corleones.

The way ive learned neutrons is theyre like a piece of iron when all you have is north pole part of magnets. One north pole magnet will repel another north pole magnet. What they really want is to stick to a south pole magnet. However in the absence of south pole magnets a piece of iron is considered neutral this piece of iron is happy to stick to both north pole facing magnets and both of the magnets can forget their animosity towards each other as long as there is a small piece of neutral polarity sandwiched between.

Nuclide/nucleide is very much a regional difference, at least in terms of pronunciation. Though I've only ever seen it spelt 'nuclide', almost everyone I know (myself included) pronounces it 'nucleide'. Kinda cool to think about.
Concerning the nuclide vs nucleide thing, it's probably based on one's native language. Bobby, who made the video, is Canadian. About a quarter of Canadians speak french. In french, you call it a "nucléide".

It is extremely popular, and yes fictional, but as so many people watch it and there is some realism in the fact that nukes do exist, I've seen a lot of people taking away bad information from this show. Radiation, mutations, confusing genetic engineering with being exposed to nuclear radiation, discussing banning nuclear technology as they're scared by what they see. Would be good for someone in the know to show how you can enjoy the show, and not be scared by nuclear technology

this channel is weird, because while i get the need to destigmatize nuclear energy, you seem to feel the need to take any oppurtunity of radiation or risks being mentioned to pause and downplay the harm, like youre promoting a product. like for an example when the video takes a sober moment to acknowledge the deaths of hundreds of thousands at the hands of 2 nuclear warheads on civilian targets you pause to make one of your "oh youre exagerating the issue its not that bad" claims. im not saying this is like cancellable or something truly awful, you seem very nice, but you have to at least see how thats in bad taste.
