Tatro, hello from Russia! As always, a very interesting video, thank you so much for the excellent engine assembly lessons. You never cease to amaze with a new instrument. Kindly tell me what is the name of the tool for grooving rings? Maybe he has a part number ... Be healthy and good luck in business!
Thanks for making this video available for us rank amateurs! I’m building my first engine. 1,000cc ironhead, Wiseco 10:1 Andrews Y grind cams. Do you advise smoothing out the sharp edges on the pistons?
I changing the cylinders on A 95 Evo it has a seep. I have some low mile heads you got a suggestion for replacement cylinders and pistons and rings. I live in SD
I generally have to heat up around wrist pin bosses And/or use a stepped drift brass or something. very rare I seen them that loose except on floating ones but its been a while since rebuilding Harley engines
Looking at purchasing new pistons for my 81 sportster. What are your thoughts on the KB 8:1 pistons??? What is the idea behind the lower compression pistons and how will it affect performance.
Some times after watch you it in boldens me. example xl1200 head port video replay it 30 times.that week my engine was disasembled.porting began.both heads ported with 2 bits n 1/4in dewalt screw gun.ill equipt after the first head was finish .i had enough .1/2 assed no 2 head port.cuz this mokey was mokey see monkey do.funny i 1/2 assed the 2 head put it together ran it recheck n redo i had a head gasket oil leakdidnt put on head gasket oring that are use with the head gasket.u should start videos like the parental wornig in movies. warning viewer descrtion is advised stunts perfomed by highly trained n expiriaced dont try this at home.porting as u said to do n unshrud the valves and all worked out big pwr now more than before.
