      Cheers Ross. It's not quite a helfrichi but it's good enough for this little tank 😂
      Me too, it's about time I got some more movement in the other tank! I miss it

    Your gobie needs a mate! I believe if you add another purple firefish, it will feel more encouraged to venture out.

    Love updates on this tank. Recently I added a firefish to raise up nutrients in 15 gal waterbox peninsula and it died after 3 days. It even did start to eat ( neither frozen nor dry). Feel so gutted. Hope you have better luck!

    You should really have put more nudis in. Four or five would have been good. It will usually take three to four months before you see any aiptasia disappear, and then it will happen very rapidly.

    • @NanoTankReefer
      @NanoTankReefer  2 роки тому +1

      You're absolutely right! At least I know for when I start to clear out the main display... I'll need an army of nudis

    Looks great. Careful of dinos, I was running around 0.5nitrate and 0.04 phosphate for a while and started adding ab+ daily. I think that may have caused my Dino bloom I am currently dealing with. Not 100% sure. Finallly got some sodium nitrate and am dosing to get the nitrates up. Had to run Dino x as it was killing everything! So far seems it’s working but a nightmare all the same

    • @NanoTankReefer
      @NanoTankReefer  3 роки тому

      That's a very big concern of mine. Hopefully with the new fish and a new addition on the way I should avoid Dino's 🤞

    I recently put two firefish in my IM 20. A day later and one of them was stuck to the back of my powerhead and I unfortunately didn't catch it in time. Then 3 days after that I found the 2nd one all dried up on the floor. He must have been small enough to fit through the mesh top.
    Hope you have better luck. :)

      @@NanoTankReefer I have horrible cyano right now 😩 it won’t go away no matter how many waterchanges. I heard chemi pure works great but I saw so many tanks crash because of it. What should I do ?

    I have this tank too, similar setup and have a terrible struggle. Dino's are in the sand and my corals don't seem to want to stay alive. Going to try a rip clean, started with dry rock but we are nearly 2 years in (January 2022 will be 2 years.). Very challenging. Any advice is definitely welcomed. Your tank is magnificent.
