Yakitori (Chicken Skewers) in Your Own Backyard Diner!

Tonight we are making one of our Japanese favorites, Yakitori! These chicken skewers are so very delicious. While they aren’t super simple to make, they aren’t super hard to do either. And, everyone seems to have a good teriyaki sauce these days. We have liked Mr. Yoshida’s, but can’t find it anymore. Bachan’s is great, but costs almost 3x as much as Kinder’s, that we are using tonight. I’ve started using Kinder’s for most of my teriyaki cooks, because it is so close to Bachan’s at a much smaller dent to the wallet. If you haven’t tried out their teriyaki sauce, or their Japanese BBQ sauce, I highly recommend it. I used to make my own teriyaki sauce all the time, and while it was really, really good, buying Kinder’s or Mr Yoshida’s (if it ever comes back) is such a time saver AND so good that it is hard to justify making your own, unless you are making something super special with it. Anyway, this Yakitori turned out fantastic, and I hope you give it a try.
