  • Early July 2022 I took the AZ-700 learning path and the exam, which I was able to pass with a solid 82% score. In this video, I will give you my personal opinion about the exam as well as the certification path, some tips on how to make it as easy as possible for you and lastly who I do recommend taking this journey.
For the practice exam, I highly recommend you going to udemy.com and order a "class" with practice exams there. The prices are reasonable and the class I took covered almost 70% of the actual exam questions.

Absolutly, CCNA configures networks using standardized networking protocols. This is why when someone learns CISCO/CCNA they become knowledgeable in all things networking as those protocols are the bases for routing data that apply to all networks, home, enterprise, AWS, Azure, and etc.🎉🎉

The issue with VMs is i think that we need to change the region while creating it. It’s annoying but it works.

Cost-efficiency is boring, but I do believe that it is a part of Engineering. If you look at an Engineer designing a bridge, anyone can design a bridge that works, but it will be overbuilt and expensive. Good Engineers will know the best way to do it for the best price. I wish that we didn't have to think about the money, but it's really easy to spend in the cloud. :)

Hi Daniel, I really enjoy your video. Could you make a video about if programming is required to start in networking? Thanks

Hey Jainaba, I really appreciate your feedback. I'm currently taking a break from producing videos as I simply don't find the time to record, cut and upload. But to answer your question: No, you don't need programming to start in networking. Scripting definitely helps, I used to do everything in PHP; nowadays Python would be more appropriate to start with.
I hope I could answer your question :)
      Best,
      Daniel

I concur with Daniel, you don't need to know programming for networking, eventually way down the line you might utilize NaC/IaC but to do that the person writing it has to have a complete understanding of networking. But which language or IaC will be specific to that vendor.

I just passed the AZ-305 in December but in my job role, I do a lot of VPN and Private endpoints so I thought I'll just get the AZ-700 as I'm already familiar with most of the concepts [apart from Express Route obviously]. I've booked the exam for Feb 2024, Are the Udemy Practice questions for the Az-700 worth purchasing?
Also, with the MS Role based exams being open book, I don't think you need to remember SKUs or limitations for the various components, you can just look them up on learn during the exam.
    😊

I actually liked the practice exams from Udemy as they were quite accurate to the actual exam. Since you are not new to Azure, you might be able to skip those. Back then I was new to Azure and therefore had to learn a lot of terms :)

I watched few videos of udemy courses. I figured they are too fast. Learning path makes more sense to me. Scripting is very new to me since i only possess knowledge of net plus. But i think now it’s open book exam. I booked the exam net month as well.

Hi Daniel, which cert should I get first, the AZ-104 or the AZ-700?

    • @danielssecurityacademy
      @danielssecurityacademy  Рік тому +1

Hey, sorry for the late response. Apparently I don’t get notifications anymore for comments :D it depends where you wanna go. AZ-700 is perfect for networking. AZ-104 has a different focus

For Udemy I only used the practice exam class:
      www.udemy.com/course/az-700-practice-tests/
For the learning of the content itself, the learning path on learn.microsoft.com is absolutely fine and contains everything you need :)

The AZ 700 is WAAAY easier than the ccna. If you don't know anything, the ccna is not a beginner cert. Get the net+.
