I was born and introduced to orthodox Christianity shortly after. Growing up, I always felt like something is strange within the religion, just one for example is the holy trinity - it just doesn't felt right for me to comprehend. I discovered Rabbi's Moshe Chaim youtube channel by a chance, I guess, but so far all the videos make perfect sense with me. This one especially resonates strongly with what I understand as God.

Question, regarding being born of Jewish mother.. My wife was born to a Jewish father, whose family migrated here from Germany. The grandparents were actively Jewish and operated a Kosher butcher shop.. their family records, oral tradition, kept that they were descendant's of Levi. however my wife's mother is a Roman Catholic. and my wife ended up being brought up in her religion and not her Father's (who is not catholic, but remains married to her, but also is not a practicing Jew even though his family was).. What is my wife's 'blood line' Jewish standing? I have over the last 2 years helped guide her out of Christianity, and into delighting in Torah and love for Hashem and Israel.. even though I'm a gentile, a Noahide as of now but studying for conversion, I told her that she is blood bound to continue to pursue her new found Jewish faith, and that perhaps the Noahide route for her is less then optimal and that she should spiritual return 'home' to her ancestors Yaccov and Rachel and Avraham and Sarah... any thoughts on this situation appreciated

her mother was roman catholic so she is not jewish and that means both of you can do this process together. The fact that she has some family relationship to judaism from her fathers side will add to the tapestry of your family history but conversion is the way for both of you if you really want to. Bracha and Hatzlacha for you both!

A real Jew worships God in Spirit and in Truth. Being circumcised in heart and not in the flesh
Circumcision identifies the first born, the inheritor
Concerning the image of God. Man in spirit is the image of God
    The Hypostasis of God
    Basically, man is God

what about a person who aligns with these core beliefs but has not converted or born of a jewish mother?

    • @Natsar-Torah

seek to be a righteous Noahide right now, then study Torah and commit yourself to Hashem, Israel, and living upright. As your life becomes transformed by living in accordance with the Torah, analyze wither a full commitment to Jewish conversion is upon your heart. Then seek out a Rabbi and those of the Jewish community who will eventually bare witness to what has been laid on your heart,, and if they do witness to you that the love of Hashem and Torah is in your heart, then seek to convert. . anyhow, that's been my plan as I've left 40 years in Christianity and now seek to convert to Judaism . Once conversion takes place, you are a Jew in every way possible, and you are bound to the covenant as any and all Jews are

These ppl are converts, simple as tht, even those “Jewish” mothers he speaks of, those before her could have simply been converts and simply told her descendants growing up, ur jwish, has nothing to do with the descendants of the ppl from the southern nation of Judah.
