If Solid ever got too far Venom would be able to handle him. As he knows exactly what both Solid and Venom are capable of. He thought Solid to be no match for Venom He never intended for things to happen as they did
@ivan leal you must consider that he’s kept tabs on both of them through Ocelot. He would know exactly what both are capable of. Especially Solid, who learned CQC from Big Boss. Venom and Big Boss are considered equals by everyone. To the point where Solid Snake (who’s fought and killed both) never knew the difference

Venom, at the age of 63, is as fast as 11 years ago and lost only because Solid was very lucky to find the right moment for a successful shot. Venom is the best Big Boss without even having his cells.
Hopefully the future let's you have a game to do a time paradox of venom winning or at least see a different ending even if it isn't Canon. Or even better he pulls off some fake death and we get a classic it's not over yet snake.
Metal gear is a complete story, Kojima and Konami fell out and Konami still owns the property. Sadly all we'll get from here on out is probably just the remakes and I doubt Konami without kojima would mess with Metal Gear canon. If they do it may be for the worse anyways 😢
Well i hope that somehow they bring him back,he's my favorite snake but still its just as fucking possible as mgs series being continued, that means its impossible
No the reason why he had to kill him was because venom snake tried to gain Supremacy over the world through nuclear weapons and other miscellaneous resources he was just trying to unite the world against the common threat ie himself
My headcanon lore for a remake of this game is that the real Big Boss and Venom have a falling-out between MGSV and MG1 because Venom goes kinda crazy from prototype nanomachine injections, and gets the world/Cipher/The Patriots suspicious of Outer Heaven. Operation Intrude N313 is the real BB sending Solid Snake to just assassinate Venom, without any knowledge of Metal Gear; that way BB can secretly take over Outer Heaven for himself and execute his plan without something going wrong. But Solid “goes too far” by discovering the existence of Metal Gear and BB’s eventual plan to launch nukes at the United States in order to destroy The Patriots. As a last “F you” to BB, Venom reassumes his identity when confronting Solid, ruining his reputation and forcing him to go into hiding in Zanzibar Land.
Solid was sent by the government and real Big Boss to destroy Metal Gear (Big Boss was playing both sides so he was setting Solid up for failure but failed) and when Solid did his job a bit too well and started the self destruction of Outer Heaven and was trying to escape, Venom Snake confronted him and died.
People underestimate just how perfect of a soldier Solid was. He was genetically enhanced to be THE best, to even surpass Big Boss, himself. That's why FOXDIE exists, in case the twins went rogue. He is perfect in every way, so when reaches Venom, who has aged considerably at this point, he's already got the upper hand from his VR training and combat being in his DNA.
Tactical Espionage Action METAL GEAR SOLID: *0UTER HEAVEN* Starring David Hayter as Solid Snake Richard Doyle as Big Boss Paul Eiding as Roy Campbell Kiefer Sutherland as Venom Snake/“Big Boss” *FACE YOUR DEMONS* Coming 1995
Naked Snake from MGS3, PW, and GZ becomes THE Big Boss. He's the one Solid Snake defeats in Metal Gear 2. And he's the one who appears at the end of MGS4. Venom Snake was a decoy who posed as Big Boss during TPP and Metal Gear 1.
@@vjack3209 no, because Metal gear V's ending happens BEFORE this battle, that means when Venom walks away during the ending fadeout, he's walking towards his battle with solid snake, you can ever hear the shooting in the background during that scene.
The villain Snake in mgs 2 is Solidus Snake, the 3rd Big Boss clone, unlike Liquid or Solid, Solidus is a perfect clone who had the exact genes of Big Boss, even though he is younger than Solid, his appearance is old because of accelerated aging
Can someone explain to me why they’re fighting each other and is venom snake a bad person? And what was the reason venom snake battling with solid snake.. i need an explanation please
In the sense of being an enemy of USA and such places then yeah. But its a complicated story, depends how much time you have to go through the whole game. But Solid Snake works for the US government and is modified to surpass even Big Boss, since he is a clone of Big Boss.
Obviously when this game was made, this character was 100% meant to be the same dude that you're talking to on the radio the whole time, but, on retrospect, it's really clunky that he introduces himself as Big Boss to Snake. Like, obviously Snake's going to know who he is. He has a personal relationship with Big Boss! They've known each other for months, possibly years. But a body double wouldn't necessarily know the of them are familiar with each other if the real Big Boss didn't happen to mention it.
not really, he wasnt supposed to die there, Big Boss just sent him cause he was told to, so he wont be suspicious, he infact thought that Solid Snake would either fail in reaching this far or even if he made it Venom could kill him
@@UnemployedStormtrooper I feel like we can comfortably say that individuals like The Fear and Sundowner are objectively evil and villianous almost every one of the terrifying bosses in MG, they either genuinely believe they're fighting for the greater good (Solidus, Strangelove, The Boss) or they're so traumatized and mentally tortured that they only know suffering and how to cause it (the B&B girls, Fortune, Psycho mantis)... sometimes it's both scenarios at the same time (Zero, Venom snake in mg1) But the fear is JUST a sadist sociopath with no backstory that likes to kill soldiers with slow poison and Sundowner literally states that he's a hedionist that only wants money and doesen't care about the suffering he causes

I think your wrong bc in mgs4 the ending of the game big boss says that the corpse that Eva found was actually soldus and that venom snake died in Metal gear so actually big boss from mgsv tpp dies in the first metal gear game but the big boss you kill in metal gear isn’t actually big boss bc he is a body double so when you play mgsv tpp your not actually playing big boss your playing as his body double
I wish it was (which it would be a nice twist) but sadly it wasn’t Venom’s body, it was solidus’.
It was the third perfect clone I remember 🤔
No thats solidus
I want so see this game remade not only for new fans to play it, but for old fans like me to cry a river on the final battle.
Heres your mgsv sequel bro
I love that the last game happens when the first game also happens like a loop
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SNAKE!
I finished TPP yesterday and this like its ending is sad
I finished it last night, I feel you.
I love venom snake can't believe he ended up like this :/
I guess this is where my character died
Damn people really still on this! This games gonna be legendary, finally MGS will get the larger respect it deserves.
Sad that Big Boss never mentions Venom in mgs4.. He realy is left out the whole time.
Yeah right. I spent 200 hours on MGSV to get killed like this. F that, I'm gonna believe what I want to believe.
Solid was underestimated and expected to lose this mission he wasn’t even suppose to keep going but he did it. It’s what happened lmao accept it
@@reasonjefferey4644 nope u cappin'
@@HansaGBB not really you are doing exactly what big boss and venom snake did which is underestimate him lmaoo, Solid is literally an enhanced clone of the greatest soldier of the 20th century lmao he wipes Venom whos just a great soldier / medic.
Feel free to delude yourself all you want. That won't change anything. There's a reason why Solid Snake became a legend after the events of this game.
@@HansaGBBbruh, it's literally convenient truth like in mgs2
And the shadow was erased.
They made my dad look like a villain
He is the villain
@@Dana-61not necessarily, big boss is the villain, solid Raiden and venom were misguided
It feels so wrong that venoms death is in a top down 16bit game with chippy music in the background
If you think about it for a moment, you are actually fighting yourself. Venom Snake is supposed to be you while Solid Snake is the guy that you've stuck with over the years since the very first game
Kinda anticlimactic for a 30 hour campaign.
Imma be honest, his death makes 0 sense when you think about it, and I like to think Venom is still alive
same dude, he’s probably my favorite snake next to solid and solidus. I fucking hate big boss and his hypocrisy of using him
@@BigBoss549 assuming what Venom Snake was true. And the real Big Boss actually intended for Solid to report misinformation about Metal Gear then this fight wasn’t supposed to happen.
Big Boss is implied to have expected one of two outcomes.
1. Solid doesn’t find the intel and brings a false report to the Patriots. Allowing for the survival of Outer Heaven and Metal Gear
2. If Solid ever got too far Venom would be able to handle him. As he knows exactly what both Solid and Venom are capable of. He thought Solid to be no match for Venom
He never intended for things to happen as they did
i like him = his death makes no sense
@ivan leal you must consider that he’s kept tabs on both of them through Ocelot. He would know exactly what both are capable of. Especially Solid, who learned CQC from Big Boss. Venom and Big Boss are considered equals by everyone. To the point where Solid Snake (who’s fought and killed both) never knew the difference
Nah, you just can't accept that Solid is a better soldier
Both Final Fantasy: Strangers of Paradise and Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain has both heroes who become the role of the Villain.
If they are planning to remake mgs they better start remaking this first. this is the only missing link that people refused to play, including me, because of how old it is. please, i want to know more about the story, i dont wanna read it, i wanna play it. REMAKE THIS GAME.
Why don’t you just play the original game and learn the controls?
@@donkeykongisytpooping3002 why the fvck would i play something like this? Stop recommending something so stupid. just stop.
@@donkeykongisytpooping3002 I recently completed it, but it's a pain, not gonna lie. the other games starting from MGS2 are much more playable
Curisoso que este snake y el de mgsv sean los unicos que corren adiferencia de los demas snakes
Venom spoke more here then the entirety of mgs V
Venom, at the age of 63, is as fast as 11 years ago and lost only because Solid was very lucky to find the right moment for a successful shot. Venom is the best Big Boss without even having his cells.
I’m not dying until a metal gear remake comes out and venom and solid snake fight
I’ll play it on my death bed if I have to
Wow, i. Geuss the mobility 3 upgrade realy is canon, Venom is shmoovin'!
lol Kaz.

Solid snake kills Venom, Liquid, Solidus and Bigboss himself?
I have always wanted a game where you legitimately lose in the end. Surprised no one has made such a game yet.
Ever heard about HALO: Reach (okay jun survives but you play as noble and they die)
Can't wait for the remake version of this
Venom is fast as hell hahaha
Hopefully the future let's you have a game to do a time paradox of venom winning or at least see a different ending even if it isn't Canon. Or even better he pulls off some fake death and we get a classic it's not over yet snake.
Metal gear is a complete story, Kojima and Konami fell out and Konami still owns the property. Sadly all we'll get from here on out is probably just the remakes and I doubt Konami without kojima would mess with Metal Gear canon. If they do it may be for the worse anyways 😢
"Hey stop kiddin around!"
Quit kidding around, Snake? SNAAAAAKE!!!!
Metal Gear™ should have had a remake!!!!
Wait, so the is Solid Snake from MGS1 fighting Venom Snake from MGSV?
sadly yes
@@kenzooo3692 this is sad
It's heartbreaking
It’s really sad to see but yeah, solid snake is fighting venom snake.
I realize how the Metal Gear Solid goes.
That's right don't blame yourself, blame me.
Well i hope that somehow they bring him back,he's my favorite snake but still its just as fucking possible as mgs series being continued, that means its impossible
Honestly the speech in the NES version is better. RIP Venom Snake
So solid snake/David killed the fake boss for some reason and what for was it vengeance
No the reason why he had to kill him was because venom snake tried to gain Supremacy over the world through nuclear weapons and other miscellaneous resources he was just trying to unite the world against the common threat ie himself
@@GhostieKai Venom Snake was the original Lelouch/Eren Jeager
Man the graphics look so realistic
This is sad for me venom is my favorite he should of used his electric arm
Venom snake has better experience, skill, equipment than Solid Snake, how did Venom dies?
Yeah, after all of the things that he went through in Phantom Pain, I still don't want to believe that he is killed just like that lol
@@CryingButterfly0508 solid snake was given the inferior genes
based on what do you say Venom is better?
big boss stronger
Fun fact: this venom snake didn’t have an arm prothesis

So he did't reunited with Quiet and become solid enermy huh?
Pretty sure she fuggin dies because of the vocal parasite after the "Quiet exit" mission cuz she talks in the tape.
@@Venom-Snake1 That sad
I'm so confused, I get that THIS is Venom Snake, but who do you kill in Metal Gear 2??
Naked Snake from MGS3, PW, and GZ becomes THE Big Boss. He's the one Solid Snake defeats in Metal Gear 2. And he's the one who appears at the end of MGS4. Venom Snake was a decoy who posed as Big Boss during TPP and Metal Gear 1.
I thought it was Venom who died though in Metal Gear 2
@@vjack3209 no, because Metal gear V's ending happens BEFORE this battle, that means when Venom walks away during the ending fadeout, he's walking towards his battle with solid snake, you can ever hear the shooting in the background during that scene.
The villain Snake in mgs 2 is Solidus Snake, the 3rd Big Boss clone, unlike Liquid or Solid, Solidus is a perfect clone who had the exact genes of Big Boss, even though he is younger than Solid, his appearance is old because of accelerated aging
@@RobotGerbil You forgot Portable Ops

Venom forgot to equip his rocket arm that day.
Can someone explain to me why they’re fighting each other and is venom snake a bad person? And what was the reason venom snake battling with solid snake.. i need an explanation please
@@TheLegendaryMercenaryHero Thank you so much for the explanation man god bless you
In the sense of being an enemy of USA and such places then yeah.
One possible retcon some people have thought of is that when Big Boss switches radio frequencies, it switches from the real one to Venom.
Phantom Pain before Operation N313
He played us like a damn fiddle!!!
So if the real boss dies in 2 then who was this guy supposed to be before 5
He is a paramedic in Ground Zero
Venom Snake.
I think you were just meant to assume he survived somehow.
Before MGSV was made, it was assumed that Big Boss either managed to revive himself and escape, or had help.
So we were playing the bad guy all along in MGSV?
Venom, the Big Boss double, was a villain?
Venom and Big Boss world view is pretty anti-America so...yeah
not really, he wasnt supposed to die there, Big Boss just sent him cause he was told to, so he wont be suspicious, he infact thought that Solid Snake would either fail in reaching this far or even if he made it Venom could kill him
When talking about metal gear the word "villain" is basically non existent because there is no real villain
none of them were villains or good guys. this is war
@@UnemployedStormtrooper I feel like we can comfortably say that individuals like The Fear and Sundowner are objectively evil and villianous
almost every one of the terrifying bosses in MG, they either genuinely believe they're fighting for the greater good (Solidus, Strangelove, The Boss) or they're so traumatized and mentally tortured that they only know suffering and how to cause it (the B&B girls, Fortune, Psycho mantis)... sometimes it's both scenarios at the same time (Zero, Venom snake in mg1)
But the fear is JUST a sadist sociopath with no backstory that likes to kill soldiers with slow poison and Sundowner literally states that he's a hedionist that only wants money and doesen't care about the suffering he causes
Ultimate middle finger to mgsv fans 😂
WE NEED A REMAKE!!
Wait so that’s the guy I play as in mgsv
Big Boss in MG1 is Venom Snake (MGSV) and Big Boss in MG2 is Naked Snake (MGS3, PW, GZ)
Robot_Gerbil Ök basically the guy I play in mgsv is a guy PRETENDING to be big boss, like if robin or nightwing took Batman’s suit and pretended to be Batman
Yes that's the guy you play as in mgsV, from what I heard this was going to be the ending to the game with him dying but with a new perspective and of course modernized..but it was cut from what I heard, take it with a grain of salt
@@fanaticalplel1003 he’s not pretending to big boss, he’s basically just another big boss as they’re both equally as skilled, and despite venom not actually being big boss, he has the mind of big boss
@@stranger6545 yes, he was tricked, they altered his mind and he essentially believed he was big boss
If they ever make a remake of this game, i hope they add a feature when you fight venom snake, game gives you a option to play as whether solid or venom snake and there will be different endings according to that. Venom Snake don't have to die after all we have been through with him.
Id love to see this boss fight remade with newer tech than it had originally, to see Solid and Venom share a cutscene would be really cool
Until then we just have a fan made animation of Venom bleeding out and listening to "Heres to you" as he listens to the real big boss:(
