In the film before Kang initiates his attack on the rebellion and the Ant family he retracts his chest armor to give his arms more movement.
It’s a bummer we don’t see this in the figure as his arms can’t move the way they are.
Yeah even when he does some of his attacks it seems to folds under itself. Separate plates attached to the shoulders at the same point would have been really cool. Also I'm sure they could have done better with the torso aswell. Saying that I'll probably pose him and leave it at that haha

I wouldn't say I'm disappointed with the articulation. It's pretty clear from pictures, and even the renders, that it would be limited due to the costume.
To be fair it is alleged assault, nothing is confirmed

It's weird that Kang is smaller than He Who Remains.
As for the actor, I don't think his agent dropping him means anything. These days, no one waits for the evidence. Disney dropped Johnny Depp after allegations were levied against him, and we all saw how that actually turned out.

Innocent until proven guilty so he isn’t a scumbag until he is proven to be one. I hate how as soon as someone says you did something wrong your labeled guilty.
I agree, but his lawyer said there is a video showing he is innocent, why hasn’t it been released? Why haven’t the charges been dropped like they claimed they would be right away?
@@MCUcollector24 that’s up to the courts to decide and determine guilt. We as people need to wait until a guilty charge is given. I will say this figure is guilty of looking awesome to bad it doesn’t move the way it should. Sculpt should never sacrifice articulation.

I'm not surprised by the articulation being limited. The only figures I would even think about getting are the comic ones and the baf but I'm having to be choosy from now on because of limited funds.

I guess it looks great as a display figure, that is very disappointing about the design and lack of articulation however.

As for the alleged events with Jonathan Majors, if the character is recast then maybe they would consider John Boyega 🤷♂️

@Bruce Douglas ok, but it was, lmao. The only reason you aren't seeing anything now is because, unfortunately, that's just how the internet works. We hold people accountable when the news initially breaks out, but after months pass, we forget about it. Just like this Majors situation. Literally no one cared about it after a month it was reported, but now that their is more information on the situation we are talking about it. Eventually, this topic will become irrelevant and will fade into obscurity because people have bigger problems in the world than some actor being a terrible person.
You placing a false narrative about race honestly just makes the whole situation worse. I hope you realize the only way to beat racism isn't by spreading more hate but by being open-minded and hearing others out.
I got the figure too and I'm very lucky I saw it, but the reason I hate it because the Shoulders can't move up alot because of the torso sculpt but It's a decent figure!
Thanks for this review. I too was hyped for this fig but man not only is he undersized but the lack of shoulder articulation really sucks, wish he had soft plastic shoulder pads like the comic one allowing forward-and-outward arm movement. Also all the stuff with Majors and the fact he will most likely be replaced does kill excitement for this figure. Still really want Scott, Hope and Cassie especially (kinda hate that I have to buy 4 comic figures to complete her when I don’t collect comic figures but maybe I can sell them off)

The figure looks good from a distance as you pointed out.....disappointing that Hasbro can't keep scale consistent....I'll probably pass as I'm backing off of Legends and only collecting essentials now and as for Johnathan Majors...........innocent until proven guilty but man ....when your PR firm and Management company drop you...........things ain't looking so good.....now if he is iinnocent then shame on those guys but if he's guilty.....wow......in my experience (20yrs in the biz) managment companies don't usually fold on an actor ( and miss out on potential income) unless they know something and those guys tend to be up your ass and know your deepest darkest so again it don't look good.......but having said that we need to let the legal system do its thing none of us was there and if he is truly innocent he doesn't deserve to be run into the ground

A major disappointment. If you look at the render, the elbow hinges have purple paint on them to match the purple on the biceps and forearms. But the figure's elbow hinges are unpainted.
Is the neck dumbell the same length on both figures?
Probably might be the only Kang we get for awhile, too.
Was really excited but after this review I might just stick to the comic version, the body proportion is so out of scale
I think I'm going to keep my pre-order. It's still a great-looking statue masquerading as an action figure. I also don't think someone's career should end because of an accusation. We don't know what happened. We have no context. If the police investigation determines there's substance to the accusation then that's another matter. But him being dropped by his management company doesn't prove guilt, it just proves they're worried about the potentially bad PR.
When is the release of this figures?
I just tried to buy this and since marvel legends no longer have see through packaging it was the wrong one 😒

There’s too many unknowns about Majors’ situation. I agree with pundits who are saying that the companies who are separating from him are doing so for practical reasons. Those are business decisions. Legal guilt or innocence is TBD. (Admittedly, things don’t look good at this point, though)
Marvel will stick with Majors until a negative legal decision because they’re so deep into filming his version of Kang at this point

Hope they’re refuxing this figure until it’s released. In terms of johnathans case, he hasn’t been convicted of anything yet he is guilty nor innocent at this point. In recasting him if he’s innocent would be just foul of marvel 2 do( unless he is guilty of course).

I went on a amazon pre order spree for this wave (cuz ya know hype for kang and a few days later I took look at this thing and saw major lack of articulation. The ball cut is absolutely dog shite. Its also way to small hasbro refuses to put jacked characters in mcu on muscular bucks. Head sculpt and cape look banger but this is just to sit on ur shelf...not so much for acba.

just want to let you know to be a little cautious labeling people without fully understanding a situation while Jonathan Majors management team did drop him the original accusations and charges had been dropped as he was only arrested to to a NY law that calls for arrest at accusation even without suspision and it's Anonymous charges from Twitter that are stirring the pot he very well may turn out to be a guilty "scumbag" but he very well may turn out to be innocent and his entire career is riding on a single situation

It’s too bad, I really like him as an actor and was looking forward to seeing him as Kang down the line, it would be cool to have a villain show up in multiple projects where each version is a different version but all played by the same actor, that’s so cool to me and if he’s replaced it’s just not gonna have the same impact

first off, before saying things in your video, maybe do your homework. majors was proven innocent and the woman in question recanted her statement. all charges were already dropped against him. so, before you go and call someone a scumbag, maybe look things up next time before you go and slander the man further.
Help me out please. This may be some of my ignorance, but can you source where the charges against him have been dropped? I haven’t seen any confirmation of that anywhere. I’m aware she recanted her story, but text messages saying it was my fault doesn’t really say he didn’t hit her.
Finally got it delivered from Amazon and you were right about everything. Very undersized. Disappointing.
