The guy reminded me of they guy who came around to spray for mosquitoes when I was a kid and I lived outside Philadelphia and I never put lime down on my garden and always had a great garden and your field looks great now in Tn I have to lime
Here where I live in Missouri we often spread coarse lime in the winter and let the rain/snow/freeze and thaw break it down some before we disc the ground for planting. Now a days most farmers don't fall plow like they used to and just do spring discing and minimumal till
I've been liming in the Spring for a while now, so I don't think it makes a difference in my case, but it definitely seems more logical to lime in the fall
Hey Farm Fan, that woods of yours looks like the perfect place to find copperheads and or water moccasins . Ever see any? Looks like you could use some rain up there.
What? No lime shortage? When does the rationing start (fuel)? pH level needs to be low for blueberries. Like Georgia for the berries. Great episode 👍. Eaglegards...
@@FarmallFanatic Thanks, please understand I do listen, at times, not pleasant with D bashing. I hope you take advantage of vet programs. You might get lucky like the minority group and have ya loans forgiven. I had those dairy family relatives near you auction off and leave the dairy business. Eaglegards...
Nice but dusty dusty dusty wonder how long they keep that truck running. The packer does a great job level things out. Your from Pa.? Have a great day.
With the Corn Prices the way they are now it will be a great time to be farming. That kilcher would not weigh down a JI Case 930. The 930 has a 401 Diesel with 86 horsepower.
I just don’t have the ability to get enough lime onto my food plots . I was gonna comment on the idea of another Farmall -vs John Deere but you beat me to it. Get er done !
My local lime guy has an International spreader truck w/ the paint sceem of the black stripe ( like the 5288) looks cool as hell!! always ask him if my jd's offend him he'll reply I can handle it🤣
It depends on what you planting. You can get short season corn that takes 90 days to mature, or you can get in beans, plant wheat or oats. You can also plant grasses or cover crops.
A harrow behind the culti-packer would make an even better seed bed👍good job as always love the channel hoss. Git -R-done🇺🇸💪🏻
Thanks for taking us on a ride a long. Field looks great, the woodchucks will be out there celebrating in a couple of weeks. 😂
Bring on the lime!!! Boom!!! Field looks fantastic
Thanks for the ride along. That cultimulcher is doing a nice job. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
We used a culti mulcher back in the day. Nothing better to get the soil ready to plant. Love the 756.
Field looks great! Thanks for taking us on a ride a long. BOOM No rain, No gain!
I am surprised the guy driving the truck could even see the telephone pole 🤣 That cultimucher does a good job!
Really nice seedbed that culti mulcher makin 💪💪👍
Definitely happy with it
Field looks great. It’s a very satisfying watching that machine work.
Nice Video, I really like listening to the 756 engine purrrrrrr.
A lot of what I see on your channel is new to me. Thanks for the lessons. ☺☺☺
The field looks great. Farmall vs JD, looking forward to that video and reading the comments afterwards lol
At 6:32 I was going to complain about the little strip you missed but since you went back for a piece at the end I’ll look past it. Field looks good!
I miss nothing...drives me nuts
I'll be cultivating my corn tomorrow
Hidden Heights sent me. Hi from Eden,NC
That field is picture perfect.p.s. to bad you had to PULL that JOHN DEER around the field but you enjoyed every moment of it. cjd wash state 👍🇺🇸
Looks good to me!
I am a Massey ferguson man 👨, but ih farm 🚜 👌 all will always have a place in my heart ❤.
Don't need high tech toys to make a great seed bed . LOVE IT!
Field came up well, tractor sounds good.
The guy reminded me of they guy who came around to spray for mosquitoes when I was a kid and I lived outside Philadelphia and I never put lime down on my garden and always had a great garden and your field looks great now in Tn I have to lime
Looks like Graduation at Fort Jackson as Soldiers comming out of woods on to parade feild. 👍
Relaxin' Jackson 😁
Nice n smooth.
Looking good FF!
When you said you were being lazy cause you were on the 4 wheeler... I don't call it being lazy, I call it being efficient with my energy!! 😁😁😁
Haha energy conservation
that's right! 😁😁😁
Damn that makes a good seed bed!!!
That lime spreading would have been neat to see from your drone! Looks good. 👍🍻 You get it planted?
Yep
Was watching Hidden Heights and they mentioned your channel.
Thank you Sandra 😊
Nice video. You should give the h a good workout and see how it does cutting that field edge back.
The problem is that there are some pretty big things in there
The kewanee multcher was painted green we have one just like yours and is green and a different yellow

Nope, never have seen one
Hello I was told to come say hi from Kevin and family .......
Appreciate it 🙏
Hi hidden heights farm told me to say hi and join your channel.
Thank you 😊
Looking good captain💪
So, let me get this straight. You give a kansas shout out and don't mention me? Also, I caught the def lep sing along! Rock on
You're from Nebraska...almost 🤣🤣🤣🤣
If prepared right, groundhogs are very tasty. That'll stop em from eating your crops.
Yeah you have to cut their scent glands out
Aren't you glad you bought that cultivator? It does a great job
Absolutely
good video man good job keep up the good work ethic man

I'm putting corn and soybeans in... Potatoes like acidic soil as well

Yea NW PA

That cultimulture is getting the job done with the Red Power.

Yeah because hes not there all the time lol
Of all the farmall tractors out there which ones would you like to get the most? For me? Even though I’m a John Deere man? Farmall M SMAT and MD and H
At this point...probably Super C
The new meats on the 756 really makes it look meaner. Does it perform better in the field?
YES!! I can't emphasize it enough YES
Kevin sent me over I’m a new sub #BOOM
I live on an ancient lake bed, and we have to add iron to our soil to get stuff to grow.
Is interesting what state
@Farmall Fanatic UTAH, Lake Bonneville
Are those radial tires?
No
Question if you were farming thousands of acres could you do all that and be profitable?
More of the right ground...yes
It's June and you don't have crops in yet?
Who said I don't have crops in yet?
It depends on what you planting. You can get short season corn that takes 90 days to mature, or you can get in beans, plant wheat or oats. You can also plant grasses or cover crops.
According to tractor data the 756 is rated at 85 hp. So you do have enough hp to pull anything you got. Beep Beep!!!
Yep 🤠👊
Our Kewawnee mulcher was green with kind of a cat yellow color
I kind of think they were actually red coming out of the factory
Know what, I'm a dumb ass. The disk was Kewanee, the mulcher was Brillion. Getn old sucks.
*Super nice job in that field im jealous! You normally put lime down this time of year?* #WorldsOkayestFarmer
And what lowers the soils PH ?
Just don't lime lol
BOOM! Chaka laka!
That's how u lime
If .did that in fall would yield better results - lime takes time to work if gonna do spring just pell lime!
I've limed every year in the Spring...it all equals out eventually
Red Power 💪❤
Do u eat woodchuck?
Gross does
One arm drummer
Man that field looks like you could do infield practice on it
You ever try some Gysum on your fields along with High Cal Lime?👍
No I haven't, but I am definitely interested in doing it.. and he and I actually talked about that yesterday.
Only thing I see wrong is that you have way too much overlap with the culti-mulcher....
No real such thing in my book
