This turned out amazing! This looked different from the other mushroom matar recipes out there, because of the use of butter, the stock, the mint and the final spice mix, so wanted to try it. After frying the onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies and tomatoes, I ground up everything into a fine smooth paste. The result was a nice mushroom matar in a smooth gravy. Plus I was happy about using the stems.
This is an awesome recipe, I remember this when I used to work in 5 Star hotel in Mumbai. Also your "Methi Malai Paneer" recipe and this totally reminds me of that recipe. Keep the recipes flowing and let the flavors of Indian cooking shine through the globe. Lots of love and regards from PDX.
I am not a big fan of mushrooms but being a vegetarian, you have to eat all vegetables to stay healthy. I usually prepare kadai mushroom recipe only that too shared by a colleague as I got to taste his mom’s kadai mushroom. From that time which is 7 years now I only prepared kadai mushroom which was actually also from a UA-cam video. I watched this recipe and wanted to try. I followed exactly same recipe m, I spent good amount of time preparing it but the taste was fantabulous. People who ate it with first bite stopped and said I don’t know what you have put in this it’s amazing and if I serve the same dish 3 times a day that is also fine with them. All the credit goes to Ranveer. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing such amazing recipes. Keep up the great work. 😊
