  • We're back for another round of group therapy talking about the latest developments in the Gaza genocide with a small group of Tankies therapees: Sina, Rob and Mikey.
(Note: Sadly, our comrade Joe Emersburger was on the call but his file didn't upload so we sometimes reference his contribution. Please send your complaints to Podcastle.ai for their shitty, unstable platform. Apologies for my chaotic appearance and messy background!)

Once again I will say that I'm so glad I found you guys! And the extended team of course. I have watched all of these. The sad fact is that I don't have friends like you in real life. I just spent some time with some older liberal ladies and boy, it is stunning the indifference to this genocide. When Gaza came up in conversation, one lady quickly changed the subject to Ukraine and then Trump. I know it's because their brains are poisoned by watching Maddow, and being completely alienated and miseducated about the world. But it's so stunning and disappointing to be surrounded by people like that. It gives me some comfort that you all meet and talk from a perspective that makes me feel...not alone.

When dealing with fascists, one always has to ask, what is their desired psychological effect on the masses with their sadistic, fascist acts of depravity?
What trigger and or reaction do they want to invoke?
I contend, that he desired psychological effect for this most depraved, horrific war crime in Nuseirat, was to invoke equivocation with WWII allied operations, specifically to coincide and take advantage of this years D-Day commemoration of the battle of Normandy. These emotionally and spiritually under developed, depraved life forms are not only working with psychologists on their political operations, their propaganda regime but also for their military operations, in order to attempt to psychologically manipulate the masses to view these fascist atrocities as righteous.
You are dearly appreciated tanky group therapy friends! 💚

Damn. You summed it up. They're normalizing every atrocity you can (or can't) imagine, so they can go about their task of being the next franchise of mass death. I just like to hope that the ME/SA region finally kicks off to bring this back to them. I don't wish this hell on anyone but fascists have shown time and again that they cant imagine what isn't being done to them.

@@KNosk826 yeah, I know it's that most people are just not aware or have a twisted view of what's happening, but I can't help but be soooo angry. The media, shows like Maddow's, play a huge role in this - they get people focusing on all the wrong things and create a distorted view of the world. But of course there is also genuine racism and dehumanization, even from people I thought better of. Like, none of them would believe the lies such as the "command center in a hospital", etc, if they were applied to their own communities, or...for example, Ukrainians...

@@KNosk826 i know that the main way to counter the feeling is to participate in action, but, i really feel that the people going at it for 8 months straight are burnt out, and I want more people to join us.

@@artillujas exactly. I'm showing up where, when and how I can. It's 50/50 for me whether being at actions helps or makes my feelings more raw. This all sucks. It's inspiring to see young people leading. And I have no words for my admiration of Palestinian strength and spirit. We will win ♥️✊

I just watched a video of a baby that looks and even cries like mine (they all do because I'm not a freaking monster) in Gaza. The baby was lying next to his/her mother and the doctors were informing her that the child needed her right arm amputated, while the other arm was wrapped in what looked like dirty, used bandages. So much evil crushing that little soul before even a year of life. The mother cried these helpless broken tears and I realized that I can never even imagine that pain regardless of how much pain I felt as a witness.

These tanky therapy sessions keeps me sane - thank you.
There's a excellent discussion between Ali Abunimah and Nora Barrows-Friedman of EI and Shir Hever - a political economist - who describes the economic collapse of Israel as a direct result of their genocidal depravity on the Palestinians.
The price of basic goods is out of control and there is little or no productive work to feed the demands of war like paying hotel accomodation for all the displaced settlers.
Columbia has stopped supplying Israel with coal to feed their ancient electrical generation system.
There is a slogan used by those protesting against Netanyahu :
"From start up nation to shutdown nation"
Israel is imploding and Shir Hever says that genocide is typical of hegemonic nations which then collapse.

My mom, who was 40 years older then me, loved the Golden Girls. Sadly, for me, I felt it was for a targeted audience. (which was blue hair tinted matrons in their 60's) I am guessing Sina lived under the same roof of one of these matrons. But ofc I guess.
Is it a coincidence that Sinwar's name is similar to sin of war?
Eugenics is essential to Imperialism and Zionism. Racism, intrinsic to all of them.
