Seeing the lead art designer from happy wars and happy dungeons still be a part of the Warlander design team but not as lead director was sad. From what I know he doesn’t really have other products under their art direction besides the happy wars franchise.
It does look like a good game, but I prefer Happy Wars’ art style and voices a lot better. I still wish Toylogic would’ve tried reviving that game instead :(
I love Happy Wars but the fun cartoonish art style from the original is what I yearn for here. I identify the Valor system as the weight system from it's predecessor. In HW you had to level up to increase your weight cap. Besides that I want extra classes like Happy Wars having the Berserker, Engineer, and Zephyr class. I loved how you could roll good gear if you were lucky and if possible evolve your stuff and get a nice edge against the competition. However now with barely anyone in HW servers I don't even bother to play it. Lest I get my ass handed to me by people with Happy Cards Limited Edition gear.
It's a good game but there are so much room for improvements. For instance, if you don't like playing with bots, I suggest you wait until the player base of this game increased. The game is still new so it's better not to have any high expectations. But it's fun to pass time so I recommend it.
Looks fun but the main appeal of happy wars as a kid to me (other than the art style) was the fact you could roll for and upgrade a ton of different armor/weapons, of course this can give an advantage over other players, but at least you could earn the gear without paying money, and you could still get kills without good gear by knocking people off ledges.
Gambling is bad even fake one rng isn't fun when it's not meant as core gameplay and well done . Also you cans till do that here i think no need to pay lmao
@@SquaulDuNeant you didn't need to pay for happy wars either. You could get packs and there was another currency to roll stuff stars I think? Although it took FOREVER, I got pretty far with free to play and even got an evolved weapon, I only started spending money after I already had at least 100 hours
The gameplay is fun but id recommend not getting it unless you dont mind having its sketchy anti cheat constantly watching what your pc does, its super sketchy, id recommend looking for redit posts on how to uninstall the anti cheat if youve already started playing or once your done enjoying the game since it doesnt uninstall with the game

This review is great, too bad the devs didn’t really listen and release “full release” before an early access all together just to sell stuff at the shop. As of now the game is dead on pc and will support crossplay with GEN 9 consoles. (Only Xbox Series X/S.)
So...the shield charge is essentially just the Warrior's ultimate where you can power it up by allowing multiple people to partake in, with an Insane cooldown...and broke it's spine by making it a regular skill, with the cooldown of a breaking pasta...great. I'mma ignore this till the steam rating gets better and/or until they add in the Engineer, if i cannot fire Hamsters (or maybe they were cats) from a medieval gatling gun, then i am not interested! Also, the Robot is a randomly spawned thing that people have to fight for to obtain? WTF?! It used to be the Engineer's Ultimate that you needed multiple people to help build it, fkn Boo.
dang, the style is so important to me at this point it lost what i liked about happy wars, now it looks boring as fuck and im soo sad, especially since i need to not only pay for a service but a whole other console to even touch the dead game that has at max 8 players online

It just released on consoles and has crossplay and i gotta say its really bad because there is a lot cheaters coming from pc and its going to kill this game if not fixed, not mention all my matches are draws or lose and its really sucking the fun out.
The game downloads suspicious anti cheat it’s been almost a year so I can’t remember much about it but I believe it’s most likely safe but if you want to be careful then just don’t play the game.
One of my favorite things about Happy Wars was the goofy art style and this game doesn't have that. Also, this character system just looks worse. Shame :/

Yeah I am very sus about the anti-cheat but at least its not like Riot's Vanguard that for some reason will always start when you turn your computer on.
Is this the same game🤔with Sentry anti-cheat software that comes along with this game that will stays in your computer even after you closed/Uninstalled this game from your pc by sending your pc data(Bytes) into some japanese ip address without your consent just like a spyware ? then developers banned a person from steam just for stating this fact on his steam reviews who tells users on how to completly remove this anticheat spyware from your pc even after Uninstalling this game, they even banned 2k people who liked his review that found it helpful for themselves, afterwards they silently changed it's behavior in an update and backtracked on their word as if nothing has ever happened, by reinstating his account back calling his review as fa%ke news ?? Isn't it seems like some shady business practices going on from steam moderates & from this game developers?
