- FIFA and the FA recognise Maidenheads York Road as the oldest continuously-used football ground in the world used by the same club. They hosted Halifax Town in the National League.
My father played 299 games for Maidenhead during the 40s and 50s not very much has changed since those days by the look of it, but good luck to them probably punching above their weight in the National League well managed by Alan Devonshirei

Great video Matt, and i quite like these tight grounds, whereby one as a supporter is almost on the touchline. Shame for Halifax but Maidenhead are also fighting for their lives. Least they can score, if you get my jist lol. Loved that bloke climbing up that ladder. Looked really interested in football lol. As for the Alan Devonshire SUITE. Well you have to start somewhere i reckon, but the Hammers 3rd team wouldnt have got changed in there. Love it mate
It was a very unique old ground, seems a shame it could disappear in the future. Yes we need a goal scorer Berlin Dave, thinking of making myself available for selection, the goal poacher that I am 👍🏻⚽️
