But he audition on JYP as Vocalist before joining Bighit and learned how to rap since Bighit wants an all rapper group. 🤷🏻♀ He really is good at singing 🙆🏻♀

I think hobi's part always hits different in every BTS song because he is lowkey a vocalist so he know things about vocals. By what i mean different is compared to RM and Suga who is purely focusing on their rap technique. While hobi mix both his rap and vocal technique to create an amazing flow and maintaining his voice control over a rap verse to make it sounds a bit like vocal part. I found this as a very interesting hidden talent of him. (aside from his well-acknowledged dancing talent) Ps: i'm not a musician myself so please dont judge me, this is just my opinion because I do think hobi always got a good flow on his parts and this probably is the reason.
Hobi’s voice has many textures which makes it very interesting and he uses it to express different emotions, esp when he raps. I’ve always wanted to hear him sing more.

When he was singing "i was able to eat well" with suga he might seemed goofy most of the times, but you can see his actual vocal skill in some parts and it was just beautiful. I so wish that they'd assign some vocal classes to hobi and feature him as a vocalist in some part. His vocal color and timbre are just so unique, though it doesn't go along with the angelic lyrical voice that bts' vocal line always strive for. His voice is more suited for pop rock.
