I saw Trilok in Illinois in a small club during the nineties when he had The Crazy Saints with him. One of the best live drum performances I have witnessed.I remember he played the tabla with one hand, and the set with the other hand during that show, which was beyond incredible.

Yeah, I saw the same band in San Francisco, He was playing the microphone like a tabla during soundcheck. he doesn't care, as long as it's a surface of something that makes a sound, he'll play it.
Check out the John McLaughlin Trio videos, there's one where McLaughlin is laughing uncontrollably at Trilok during Trilok's solo. It's pretty funny..

9:53 Respect for the sound engineering, fast action, raise the microphone fader console when Trilok open his eyes.

While it's fascinating to watch him, listening with eyes closed and drifting off can be otherworldly.

Thank you for coming to Poland on 29/06/2019 with Jan Garbarek, the strange country where Eastern Part of Our Globe is just very partly understood and often rejected. Great gig, solos of yours and the rest of the band. I am so inspired after yesterday's night, as it was quite a long gig of 1 hour and 45 minutes. So many rockstars play for just 1 hour or so nowadays. So much good music and great vibes.
