for anyone that mods smash, is it safe to add characters ? ik adding 1 is safe but many ones? i dont want my switch to crash every time, just like the video is possible but idk about the compatibility of certain mods
If there aren’t any new sonic characters in the next smash, then I’m convinced Nintendo actually just hates the sonic series. We have beautiful, updates models for shadow and knuckles in the game and the devs could use those models for move sets like the smash moddeds have. I know there are tails and silver models in green hill zone btw but I’m pretty sure those are the same models that were used in brawl so they’d look pretty out of place without an update.

For the love of God, can someone make a mod that organizes the roster by series like how it was in the previous smash games. The character selection screen is such a mess.
Multiple people did that on GameBanana years ago, just without the custom characters in mind…….for the most part And as far as future custom characters from established series are concerned, Geno, Bandana Dee, Magolor, Shadow Mewtwo, Black Knight, Chaos, and Chun-Li are on the way

@goGothitaLOL no i mean like 1 player per character as in their should be more players so we get one of each custom character in the tournament. I commented this cause I was looking forward to sandbag and no one is playing them. My b though probably should have worded it differently

Yes it is
It’s safe, at one point a year ago I had now modded characters than they do and there wasn’t any problems besides 2 og characters crashed the game
It's completely safe but it can slow down the loading times, and you gotta make sure everything is updated for the version you're playing in
its pretty safe, modding with acropolis will give you a file telling you if errors are present
i have a roster of like 120, yes it very much is you just gotta know what youre doing

How did you do this? I tried adding as many characters as I can but it limits me from the roster screen being too small and some characters overlap.

The characters add themselves to the css, if you wanna to move their slots you will need a paid tool
