I read somewhere (IMDb) that the wat they always stayed "hip" was they contacted artists that were going to be releasing music when the movie was supose to come out, that way it was ALWAYS current. GENIUS!

It’s pitched up Beca’s voice was never that high. I’ve always viewed her as a Mezzo but she’s closer to an alto. I’m glad you shared it though because I feel these three movies were revolutionary and so phenomenal.
