I understand the price tag behind some persols or Randolphs, hand made and all that, but are DITAS really worth that much? They’re always 500+ dollars with plastic lenses
@@ShadeReview Thanks for responding. I was thinking that maybe you do a deep dive into the different lens technologies and manufacturing processes of the glasses themselves for example how Persol use’s world class, Barberini glass. I had to dig about that and it was almost impossible to find on their website. I then found out it was Barberini and wrote to Persol that that should really sell this and market that as what makes their sunglasses that much more special. This was 4-5 years back when Persol hardly advertised Barberini, but now it is front and centred in the descriptions! Also, Randolph Engineering with their extraordinary frame finishes and that extraordinary crown glass they use. I am sure Randolph Engineering would be willing to give you a more detailed look at everything considering the great relationship you share with them. You should really highlight ( as you have done countlessly before) the different aspects of these brands which really make them unique and worth the cost. I really want a person like you, who has introduced someone like me to these great brands, to take it to the next level! As passionate as you are, I am sure you can make it happen. Thank you.
@@josecuervo1591 Hello Jose! Well if you look at it that way, RayBan really is the Toyota Corolla of sunglasses. Everyone will buy it even if its expensive, has less bling but still reliable and dependable. And for blaming Luxxotica for the inferior product, you really should be blaming B&L for selling it to Luxxotica if they were that concerned about the product quality and the legacy, they wouldn’t have done that. Two great American brands are still surviving and have gained more popularity in the recent years. Quality speaks for itself.
@ShadeReview No, I meant if someone is not Asian, it doesn't mean they're necessarily Americans. What about Europe, Australia, Africa, etc? Not every non-asian people American.

Hey man
Really miss the old, classic brand reviews, the ones which are much more practical than these fast fashion brands.
What would you consider an old classic brand?

Why Americans?
They don’t have adjustable nose rests so they would not be good for the Asian market
