as a US fan of v-8's who fell in love with the worlds best racing series in the days of marcos ambrose (Speed Channel showed them during our off season) it is EPICLY HUGELY Mega that you posted these old bathurst races that ive been DYING to experience for myself. I WILL make the over 12 hour flight to australia to see a v-8 race someday, until then, your uploads are helping the addiction :)
When the 2 litre touring cars came out to compete in their separate Bathurst 1000 races in 1997 and 1998, they had 2 things in common, 1, they were the years when the Adelaide Crows won the premiership in the AFL, and 2, behind the microphone was the veteran voice of Formula 1 for many years, Murray Walker.
@@jarrodminogue9244 Except for at the start when he was blabbing about the front wheels being toe out and the steering being stuffed. If he could tell anything from that onboard it would have been that the wheel was straight, suggesting no steering or suspension damage, just wobbling under load and over bums due to one tyre being inflated and the other being fat.
This is the race where without Larry Perkins preparing the cars Brockys engineering prep let them down. BTW until I clicked "Like" there were 161 likes-spooky!!
THE ONE THING THAT STOOD OUT THE MOST FOR ME WERE THE IN CAR CAMERA'S ! TODAY CAMERA'S ARE SO SMALL AN JUST ABOUT EVERY WHERE IN TODAY'S CARS AN HD PICTURES COMPARED WITH THE CAMERA'S IN THE CAR'S IN 1995 ! THEY WERE THE SIZE OF FRIDGE ! HOW FAR THE TECHNOLOGY HAS ADVANCED IN 30 YEAR'S ! DOC OZLAND 👍😉👋🤗
I have it on DVD which is a recording from the original broadcast, but not on the cloud unfortunately. Jump on the V8Slueth Bookshop. The full 1995 race is for sale on there! bookshop.v8sleuth.com.au/collections/new-stuff/products/1995-tooheys-1000-dvd
This was the start of of the boring 2 make race, funny thing is holden are gone ford use a car that few people buy , why don't they just make bathurst a sport sedan race.
@@barryphillips7327 don’t whatever me! It’s 1995! Cameras still have bad quality! Cameras now have 4k 1080p graphics but camera’s then had like 1k and 480p!
On behalf of all motorsport fans . THANKS KENNY . My favourite Bathurst in the best era of V8 s
Same here mate. It's not what it was.
I had them all on VHS, and have just recently put them all over onto DVD :)

Thanks for posting I was only going to watch the first few laps , but could not turn it off ! Great drivers and great racing , Thanks again
Well, you picked a good year. Perkins ' last to first is the stuff of legend.
Great race, a race that Larry Perkins and Russell Ingall will never forget,
What can I say, from a flat tyre on Lap 1 to a meteoric rise to 1st place.
Larrikin Larry Perkins drove the race of his life. Unreal. They don't make 'em like LP anymore.
Fuck I miss these days, the cars, the drivers. The era was great.
Thanks Kenny, had a great Sunday watching this.
Thanks for uploading all these
Enjoying them
so happy i found this, thank you for uploading
This was the race that ultimately converted me over to becoming a massive fan of the Australian V8 Touring Car Championship.
After seeing this, how could you not though🤘😎
I appreciate Allan Moffat's commentary.
Always spoke with integrity and very knowledgable.

A flat bed truck on the track. "We might see a safety car later in the race"

yeah, they should go up some time next week :)
Imagine today’s drivers racing in cars that raced in the early years of Bathurst and the ATCC.
Touring car masters.
Take a look.

sure do. will get it up when i can for you :)
Just think, that was the most recent year that Carlton won the flag in the AFl, the Blues would like to win another one any year they could.
Great race, was this the last Bathurst to feature the golden voice of Mike Raymond behind the microphone?
yep, I believe so.
Australia 's answer to Peter Griffin.
The first pit stop for Perkins is what u call tru pit crew members no helmets needed
You got the clip where the Peter Jackson Grid girls kick Wilko in the balls? I think it was a pre-race segment of the last Bathurt 1000 PJ raced at.
Hi do y9u have the 3rd segment of this st9red 9n storsge cloud? Just eas askimg s9 could see whole race

Can’t find part 3/4 anymore? Just me or has it been removed
Been taken down due to copyright unfortunately
There's a play list called Bathurst 1000 full races that has it saved in a play list
Great race, why was the 1993 race blocked? Aww come on.
No idea. They like to take down video's at random...

Back then when Supercars didn’t rebadge commodores.

This is what commodores used to be, anything after the VF and it's complete trash.
Rip brocky
1995 the start of the end of the real racing at Bathurst which became boring
TERRIBLE picture quality!!
what did you expect when you watched a video from a race in 1995? It’s not like back then they had hyper realistic cameras.
