hi there! really nice video and for me especially fun to watch, i also spent around 30 hrs in the DRL sim, and are propably about the same level of flying as i saw in your videos. I just ordered a avata2 ( shortage of them here in sweden now) but i hope it come soon. never tried fpv’s but i do photo and cinematography for living and see potential in adding this to the other stuff i do with my cine dji drones, mostly real estate. the controller 3 is very sold out now and i have to wait a long time for that but will start with real estate and hope to be able to do some footage with the motion controller in beginners mode. any experience like that with the motion controller? was it very different flying in IRL compared to the sim? asking even though i watched all your related videos. i just subbed, keep on good work and greetings from a cold and rainy sweden 👍🇸🇪
First, thanks for watching! After a couple of crashes, you get over the fear of flying IRL and to me, it’s actually easier than the sim. The motion controller makes it super easy and controllable and I would think would work well with real estate shots. Definitely get the Controller 3 when you can. It takes practice but is so much fun to fly in manual.
@@hiddentalentssd thanks, just updated and really smoothing the flight out now. The rates I’m using at the moment: Roll/Pitch/Yaw: CS 120/120/120, MR 725/650/600, expo .5/.5/.5.
@@lampiditesla, I usually use the Avata FPV, but enjoy bouncing around and flying all of them. I’d say it’s more about learning the manual feel than which drone is closest. Once you get out in the real world you use those skills. It is intimidating but honestly feels easier to fly.
@@VantagePointImages I figured out that rates make the real difference in the feeling. Btw I can’t find the Dji fpv in my liftoff. Should I download some add-ons?
I mostly use the DJI FPV and have updated the controller settings. It’s fun to play around with all of them. The AK Mistral feels similar but I would say almost better than the Avata. Practice with any and it will translate to the real world.
smooth flight and great footage in a beautiful spot. 😎👍
Thanks!
Thank you, breathtaking . 🤗
Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for uploading your journey with FPV … is your gimbal tilt still at 15 degrees here?
I believe I had it at 23 degrees.
Very nice video. After 20 hours in the liftoff simulator, I can barely do corners in the hay field. Any tips on that?
@@willworthoberg6818 I would say keep up the practicing and have fun with it. It’ll get easier. Try all of the drones in the simulator as well.
nice smooth flight... what rates are you using?

Would I need to take the day off from work to be able to do this in an empty park😅?
What’s the best simulator to use for practicing?
@@9jabu-829 I use Liftoff
What’s the best drone in Liftoff to use as much similar as the Avata? Thanks

@@lampiditesla, I’m not certain. It was there when I downloaded it.
Check the workshop, there is an avata2 preset
@@TheR00M I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!
hi buddy, whats the closest drone in terms of feeling you can use on liftoff comparing to avata2?
