DICE is, in my opinion, develops the best modern TECHNICAL masterpieces i.e. Battlefront, however this new battlefield proves that DICE can also develop great narratives to go along with there games. However, I kind of wish the main campaign had the length of Bad company 2. Also Bioware, I think still shows promise provided they knock the ME:A out of the ballpark!

This was my feeling when I started up the Early Enlister edition for the first time. I had no idea it was going to be in and I was talking on TS with some friends and then this music started to play...I just sat there and listened to it. Hadn't played the game but just sat there on the menu. I love this theme, it's probably my favorite piece of video game music.

That's only been used once during D-day which was foolish and scummy. However ww2 was worse on a global scale where civilians would suffer.

I started with Battlefield 1942. Mom bought the game and then at the first I was scared to play it but then seeing my older brother playing it I tried it once and then that's how I started to play all Battlefields.

I’ll never forget 1 match I had, the mountain map with fortress guns and the Italians fighting the Austro-Hungarians where you defend from a church to a large fort in the rear if playing on grand ops. I was on the defensive Italian side and we were holding the last fortress gun emplacement. The entirety of both teams were there and we had a solid setup for defense where support and assault were machine gunning the doors constantly and there was a mix of incendiary, gas and smoke being thrown and other support and medics were constantly healing and supplying. We won the battle but lost the match as we lost close to half the defenders on the next wave because the went over to the other objectives rather than hold the easy objective as we had and we were pushed back to the large fort and bombed ceaselessly winning the enemy the match.
I gotta be honest with you. I'm a CoD player, you could also say I'm a fanboy if you want to but Battlefield games are impressive work of art and I can set aside the differences between those games. Both games are amazing FPSs and they have their own strengths and weaknesses. Sadly Battlefield V is already a flop before it was released. I just have one wish for both fanbases and it is to see my perspective in both games that they're not completely different, and for fucks sake just try both games so you can choose which one suits you the most.
Which is obvious when you consider they have been re-releasing the same soundtrack for the past fifteen years with small differences, and people continue to love it as much as ever.

When this kicked on the scout's campaign where you had to warn the front line to fall back and you had to run through the fucking turks I almost cried from joy.

For all the people saying this theme is shit because it's "dubstep" need to go get a better education or point out faults that are directly related to the song. I swear to god, it's like you people can't accept a new type of music. When old/classical music switched to the "good" music that swept the world until 2007, people bitched that it was dumb and didn't require skill. Now people criticize modern music for having some fancy wubs and not having instruments OR requiring skill, when in reality the most talented guitarists, violinists, and any other kind of artist who plays an instrument or even composes music can't even start on a "dubstep" piece, which is probably not even dubstep because dubstep is an actual musical genre with its own parameters, even if it does include many other forms/versions, people generalize with the term because of whatever fucking bias they can shove up their own asses. Just enjoy the music, or don't, but keep your biased reasons out of her for the people who DO enjoy this kind of music, who probably also enjoy the older Battlefield themes

I could give less than a fuck about dubstep, but when it appears in a song it has no business being in, like, say an orchestrated war video game theme, then I take issue. Im not at all against techno, just the ruination of a great song that this version beautifully revitalizes. Here are those 'direct faults' you wanted. Transferring a full band of ANY size to a techno subgenre isn't a great idea even when done well. The melody loses its depth of harmony. The tone is changed from warm and inspiring to hard edged and cold. The composition of the song is harder to follow through all of the effects. Not to mention it gives less work to session players and other musicians. I'm sure all of those talented musicians who you mentioned would agree that a full orchestra of brass and strings will sound better than a modern electronic song cobbled together entirely in a computer program, regardless of the skill you think it takes. Lastly, one might learn proper linguistic structure (like using paragraphs instead of posting a wall of text) before one tells another to get a better education.
I remember thinking how modern warfare and WWII have been overdone to death, and futuristic warfare belongs in sci-fi, you know what would be great, if call of duty or battlefield could make a game based on WWI. That'd be great. Lo and behold, Battlefield comes out with this epicness. It is an absolute masterpiece. I never thought anyone would do it, but DICE managed to pull it off spectacularly. This is literally the best shooter in years.

Holy fcking shit, i will miss those times, fighting an harsh frontline slaughter battle in operations on tsaritsyn, brusilov keep, verdun, fort vaux, amiens, achi baba, suez, st. quentin scar, argonne forest, rupture, etc., which such an immersion and fun.. Thankfully, i've recorded and saved so many epic and moments and legendary operation battles on my HDD. And to replay it someday, to get goosebumps back i was playing this great game. I still cant imagine that this masterpiece was released end 2016, how fast is the fking time going.. Battlefield 1 is an EA game that doesn't suck. They actually finished it before it came out and although the DLC plan still sucks I'm willing to pay for it for once lol.

All I can think of when listening to this is the beginning of any match of conquest, running from the spawning area to the first objective as you just see tanks and other vehicles driving past you, planes flying above you and explosions from artillery and mortar shells all around you as you just see your teammates and the enemy team getting constantly killed as you’re still somehow alive

That's only been used once during D-day which was foolish and scummy. However ww2 was worse on a global scale where civilians would suffer.

I’ll never forget 1 match I had, the mountain map with fortress guns and the Italians fighting the Austro-Hungarians where you defend from a church to a large fort in the rear if playing on grand ops. I was on the defensive Italian side and we were holding the last fortress gun emplacement. The entirety of both teams were there and we had a solid setup for defense where support and assault were machine gunning the doors constantly and there was a mix of incendiary, gas and smoke being thrown and other support and medics were constantly healing and supplying. We won the battle but lost the match as we lost close to half the defenders on the next wave because the went over to the other objectives rather than hold the easy objective as we had and we were pushed back to the large fort and bombed ceaselessly winning the enemy the match.

I gotta be honest with you. I'm a CoD player, you could also say I'm a fanboy if you want to but Battlefield games are impressive work of art and I can set aside the differences between those games. Both games are amazing FPSs and they have their own strengths and weaknesses. Sadly Battlefield V is already a flop before it was released. I just have one wish for both fanbases and it is to see my perspective in both games that they're not completely different, and for fucks sake just try both games so you can choose which one suits you the most.

For all the people saying this theme is shit because it's "dubstep" need to go get a better education or point out faults that are directly related to the song. I swear to god, it's like you people can't accept a new type of music. When old/classical music switched to the "good" music that swept the world until 2007, people bitched that it was dumb and didn't require skill. Now people criticize modern music for having some fancy wubs and not having instruments OR requiring skill, when in reality the most talented guitarists, violinists, and any other kind of artist who plays an instrument or even composes music can't even start on a "dubstep" piece, which is probably not even dubstep because dubstep is an actual musical genre with its own parameters, even if it does include many other forms/versions, people generalize with the term because of whatever fucking bias they can shove up their own asses. Just enjoy the music, or don't, but keep your biased reasons out of her for the people who DO enjoy this kind of music, who probably also enjoy the older Battlefield themes

I could give less than a fuck about dubstep, but when it appears in a song it has no business being in, like, say an orchestrated war video game theme, then I take issue. Im not at all against techno, just the ruination of a great song that this version beautifully revitalizes.
Here are those 'direct faults' you wanted. Transferring a full band of ANY size to a techno subgenre isn't a great idea even when done well. The melody loses its depth of harmony. The tone is changed from warm and inspiring to hard edged and cold. The composition of the song is harder to follow through all of the effects. Not to mention it gives less work to session players and other musicians.
I'm sure all of those talented musicians who you mentioned would agree that a full orchestra of brass and strings will sound better than a modern electronic song cobbled together entirely in a computer program, regardless of the skill you think it takes. Lastly, one might learn proper linguistic structure (like using paragraphs instead of posting a wall of text) before one tells another to get a better education.

I remember thinking how modern warfare and WWII have been overdone to death, and futuristic warfare belongs in sci-fi, you know what would be great, if call of duty or battlefield could make a game based on WWI. That'd be great. Lo and behold, Battlefield comes out with this epicness. It is an absolute masterpiece. I never thought anyone would do it, but DICE managed to pull it off spectacularly. This is literally the best shooter in years.

Holy fcking shit, i will miss those times, fighting an harsh frontline slaughter battle in operations on tsaritsyn, brusilov keep, verdun, fort vaux, amiens, achi baba, suez, st. quentin scar, argonne forest, rupture, etc., which such an immersion and fun..
Thankfully, i've recorded and saved so many epic and moments and legendary operation battles on my HDD. And to replay it someday, to get goosebumps back i was playing this great game. I still cant imagine that this masterpiece was released end 2016, how fast is the fking time going..

Battlefield 1 is an EA game that doesn't suck. They actually finished it before it came out and although the DLC plan still sucks I'm willing to pay for it for once lol.

Warfan2001 I'll give EA credit for that. As bad as the Endor on fire map was it was cool they gave that out for free as well as a free gun. Regardless I'm paying for the DLC because WW1 is my favorite era in history and I want to see as much of it I can in this game.
Free maps will be coming to BF1. One of them will come out in December.

This is their best theme, they should just do it more like this. Keep it classic. When I started BF1 for the first time, this started playing and I got goosebumps from it. Just absolutely great theme. I wish it would play in game during operation assaults, it would fit beautifully.

All I can think of when listening to this is the beginning of any match of conquest, running from the spawning area to the first objective as you just see tanks and other vehicles driving past you, planes flying above you and explosions from artillery and mortar shells all around you as you just see your teammates and the enemy team getting constantly killed as you’re still somehow alive
