I love that he asked the women recruits as well I would really love to see more videos showing what the women recruits do and their training just so us women who want to join can also get an insight also love the videos x
Demi Hunter they do the same as the blokes
Prisma I know they do I’m saying it would be nice to see videos of the women training as well
Demi Hunter hmmmmm
Chris ignoramous.
Horacio Nelson Well said!!!!! Totally agree! Plus I’m sure there will be loads of string attached videoing females....
I’m loving some of these names on the shirts
5:09 “fox piss” 😂😂😂
I’ll advise you enjoy Pirbright’s food, it might be the best you’ll have in your Army career; apart from when on tour with the Yanks 😂.
Sennybridge has got some decent scoff
Proper character this lad, all the camaraderie making me jealous, makes me want to join the regs.
The young fella is a big personality ,
8 years on and still miss the food from that cookhouse!! 8 years on still not had better food.
What is the menu like?
Pretty good as far as I remember. Good options. Just load your plate as sometime you cant get seconds.
@@row-athlete3189 was good stuff , brim yourself up and the gaurentee yourself to throw it up on heartbreak
Must of changed since you was there it’s shit now mate
Wonder why he's called the clap? 🤔😂
Cos of his face
Once again, wonderful content!
Glad I found your channel Fabziy, currently in the process of applying and these videos are really helping to motivate me. Hopefully I'll be in the same position as these recruits some point this year! Well done to the recruits and all the best.
Cameron E good luck mate!
@@natnice5359 Thanks :)
Did you make it?
there's a big difference between just being in the Army, and being in the Infantry.............just sayin
Agreed. Some individuals join for a trade. Those people are drivers or carpenters, cooks, etc in the Army.
I was a professional soldier because my trade was soldiering in the Infantry.
@@AlexG-wk3nh I'd say those two videos sum it up pretty well ;)
@@mongoose621 and when the Air force cargo Chief is yelling at you in the back of the Hercules I always couldn't figure out why the stewardess was yelling all the time ;)
@@mongoose621 Tell that to the lads in 24 Commando that came through here, or the Airborne Engineers... or everyone in the Royal Armoured Corps!
@@mongoose621 I think it has to do with intelligence. those who can do, those who can't go into the infantry.
If 'Shagger' wasn't suggested for a shirt name I'd be astounded
2:17 trying to make it sound fancy and then realising what it is love it 😂😂
Pirbright is the best scoff you'll have
Hoping to join the engineers in 2 years
I'm in the recruitment process right now staying in pirbright, foods ntb but I couldn't eat it every day. Thank God I'm going harrogate.
Good luck to you youngsters, keep up the hard work, we’re proud of you!🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿
Joined the army to get away form his girl might have to join it’s a gd idea
Great stuff Fabz lad. When is the Pass Out Parade getting uploaded?
love all your videos mate
Really good video, this and your last best yet.. Love hearing from the recruits
Fabziy y did u join the army
Oh my god!!! that is Cpl sharp in the para top!!! 4 sections, section commander in 2018... i enjoy this sort of insight and i know we didn't have it then but will certainly help potential soldiers of the future 👍👍
Timestamp?
@@joemarsland9802 for when i left you mean??

Jesus, these guys call themselves soldiers 😂 I'd bet a log race would see half of them on the biff for months. 😂
Love the mix of these troops, their characters and attitude. A real eye-opener. When I was a first year at Uni, there was nowhere near that level of camaraderie. Makes me proud to be British knowing they are the next generation of the army.
I wonder how women would fair after six months in the trenches in 1917 on the western front?
A lot of them don't seem to hit puberty yet!
5:53 love it 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I needed this....
Big ups fabziy
QWE RTY hip hip hooray!
QWE RTY 👌1 and only
Best Clap you could ever have ....legit.
Off to Alpha tomorrow!! I'm comin for ya Pirbright 🙌🏼 great vids as usual, always good to have an insight from guys on or finished their training! 💪🏼💥💪🏼
Hahaha Mia Khalifa on that girls t shirt
Immature for training staff.
Why did you join the Army , well one would normally answer to serve Queen and country , in my day it was to get three square meals a day , and i can honestly say , to see the world , which one could back in the day, not so today , as for the pay and conditions today , say no more
See the world yes Afghan and Iraq maybe r&r in Cyprus
Wish there was more stuff like this for the RAF
Excellent video, Fabziy 👍 cannot wait for next part!
awesome vid x
No mention of pay as you dine shameful...
You find that out when you get to first posting....
Wouldn’t mind a video talking about your military story because I see you’ve done p coy and AACC
So im a british born citizen who lived in the UK for the first 5 years of my life, but have moved away and been living overseas ever since.
I'm thinking about going back to the UK and joining up, but i cant seem to find an answer as to wether or not me living abroad would cause any problems in the recruiting process or not.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated, cheers
No your a British citizen
@@lemonboi99 are you serving/ have served?
@@SuperAde321 You will have no problem joining since you are natural UK born citizen.
Notice none of them said, 'to serve the Queen.' That's the reality right there. Mark
@redmotive That's it mate....I agree.
No one in my intake in 1990 would have said to serve the Queen ......who joins up to serve the Queen ?......
@@HUMPTYNUGGET Nobody that's my point and neither did my father and he was in 22 for over 20 years.
This new TV presenter you hired isn't half bad! :P
Good thing our forces fight better than they sing 👍 well done & thank you all 👏👏👏
I wish the young lad doing this the best of luck. I think he'll do well in his army career. It's these videos that show potential recruits what the army is like. Better than the official videos.
God daaaam you new recruits have it easy in my day you got coakroaches with a bacon and beans stuffing also i seen a post of the p.t doing the heartbreak hill circuit and the p.t.i actually gave the recruits of the option of doing heartbreak hill or not we never were allowed to have an opinion on anything i also heard that if the temperature drops below -0 you can do your final exercise on camp and stag was posted on the block front door lmao bit of a joke if you ask me or maybe im just jealous 😂😢
Girl power
Great video. So different from my days in mid 80s.
matey at 3.10 was bare buukky fam
5:56 yes mate hahahahah
Yep still thinking about joining the army. Need to go to recruitment and have a chat. I'm 29 and thinking about a life change.

Anybody going to Catterick on the 8th of march?
John Doe Yes mate

Whose the nobba not standing for the national anthem
shropshire lad outdoors maybe a recruit from the Republic of Ireland
He is standing up, just not standing on a chair.
Went through Pirbright back in 2009, still in now..cookhouse hasn't changed much since except we only had 5mins to neck our food back then
“Obviously...”
Great video mate
Most females he asked are too shy.......
I only see white stop whitepeople the war please
Can’t wait for this day in the scoffhouse with our section shirts with nicknames. Got my pass off in 4 weeks. Been hard graft but very fun. Just passed my BC2 and done bayonet training. Back home for long weekend then back to camp tomorrow beginning week 11.
“Why have you joined signals?”
“Why not?”
*Camera cut* xD
I see 16aab symbol and Para colors and capbadge symbol. I thought those infantry battalions did all their training at Catterick?
Times have changed!!
I got my start date!! It’s the 3rd of may
Congrats..when did you apply
Mine is 14th of june
Ian Squiffy July I think, my selection was in October
Good luck!!
I'm a girl from Ghana and want to join British army but I'm finding it difficult because I'm not having any family or friends in uk
If any one can assist me I will be very grateful
How times have changed, when I was there the cooks virtually threw the food at you while calling you all the names under the sun, you had about 2 minutes to get it down your neck then you were outside again doing the robot walk.
So civilised and friendly compared with basic training in the late 60s. Best of luck to them all .
1 year on i pass out with herring troop 96sqn on friday
I saw that main kid talking at the beginning in his 2s on a high street on a Friday night one time walking from drinking a bud in Rochester high street those in RE know
I'm a girl from Africa Ghana I want to join British army any help
Fabziy I must have watched these videos so many times 🤣 I’m currently waiting on a date for my AC , fingers crossed i’ll hear this week! Thank you for making these !
That food looks way too good for Sodexo to have been involved with it! REME, Regiment? WTF Fabz do you not teach these guys anything lol. Did any of the Female Recruits go for Teeth Arms?
Noice noice
cracking videos.. Bit of concern about the amount of Sappers! and lack of REME! (1987-2009) but great promotional video. well done :)
“To get away from my Mrs” 😂
How many times does he say Obviously? 😂
Now that is how to sing the National Anthem! What a great bunch of lads.
Hey this may be a stupid question but what is the menu in the cookhouse? Does it change weekly or is it the same menu throughout.
Fantastic video series mate. Absolutely brilliant!
Glad to see there's a 34 y/o there!
Lets hope you have enough to pay for it...
That is so interesting to join the army. Good luck to everyone.
Very interesting, not many infantry!
I’m looking to join the royal lancers 😍♥️
It's Pirbright, they train Corps not Infantry there!
Are you going to show us the pass Off ??
This reminds me of my basic training a bit. Seems a bit more friendly now tho 😄 wish them all a good career.
I m ex military man miss those days proud of you guys
pirbrights french toast is the best thing there
Thank you so much for replying on my tictok

Hi! What is the difference between Army and RAF Training. Asking for a friend.
foh_bbb _filay you are definitely not asking for a friend though are you? That is way too broad of a question to ask. Go see a recruiter
@@coreyg670 Basic training is more or less the same. It's designed to get you fit physically & mentally & disciplined in as short a time as possible. In WW2 it was trimmed right down to 2 weeks!
Hooahh!
Nice

RE are the best first in last out
Might find its the sas who are

@Horacio Nelson wouldn't know these days they will go to Gibraltar barracks at black water and train at Hawley hard for engineer training back in the day we did ten weeks basic at gib then ten weeks engineer training at gib then on to trade training now its seems to be catterick or pirbright Winchester used to be green jackets or howards
Love your videos bro! Literally every single one of them 👊🏾
How do you reckon a transgender recruit would be treated here? By staff and fellow recruits alike?
Matthew Daltrey please don’t, please and thank you 😊
@@tyrese685 Any particular reason why? Do you just not like transgender people, or do you not believe I could meet the army's standards? Is it a safety issue?
@@matthewdaltrey4676 I think they might be bullied a bit, but I wish that wasn't the case. Someone could still try though!
You'll be fine any bullying and they can get punished/ kicked out 😂
I’m female to male transgender and want to join the army too. Although I’m 16 and on testosterone, about to have top surgery so I’m not sure I’d be very open about it. Do u have any info on it? Would I have to be with the girls?
Hated everyday in training
Hopefully I don't get rinsed for not knowing God save the Queen when I join lol
Ellie May, learn it, lad from our troop didn’t know it, and had to learn it for the next day and sing it in front of the whole troop 😂
@@lewishill7565 lmao really?!? That's awesome. I'm Welsh so it's never been a big thing here but if I don't want that to happen to me (I definitely don't) then I'll learn it.
Don’t join then.
