  • I always wanted to grow The Ingenious Mr Fairchair after I read that it is one rose that resemble closest to the look of peony out there. Planted it from bare root from David Austin this year spring. It is now finally bloom like how it is suppose to be. Omg, it really does looks like peony!!! Absolutely no regret in getting this rose and glad that I am still able to get it before David Austin discontinued it. If you also love the look of peony, I will totally recommend you growing this rose in your garden. I forgot to mention in the video that this rose has pearl iridecent outer petals and that's why this rose is literally glowing under the sun!! Just AMAZING!!

I'm so glad you got this one and you like it. After a couple years some blooms won't droop as much. I forgot to mention that when I commented on Facebook.

Really looking forward to it. I might move it to the ground at my front yard.

This summer weather was sooo bad, I put my roses to dormant. They are just coming out of their dormancy and started to bloom. That's why I started to make video again. 🥰

Lol!!! It really is. 😬 That fragrance is really one of a kind. I think it also has a mix of lychee as well. So hard to describe. Really knocked me out when I smell it. 🤣🤣

Hello! I love this rose! I know you grow some of your roses in pots, what do you do for them in the winter?

    • @backyardparadise2334

I am in zone 8b. There is nothing need to be done for my potted rose. I just leave them out there. Never lost any roses in the pot even if it is 20s out there.
