Long term fan of RocketJump here (6 years, back to when it was freddiew, of course). I think it is good to come clean with audience members once in a while when the content creators feel that sponsorship has come in the way of content creation. If that is what this video is intended to do, then good for them.

What the hell are you all talking about?! The writing is brilliant! Just because this video doesn't involve a videogame theme or gunfire doesn't mean it's crap. Even better - it's something fresh and original! I especially liked the sudden rising action when the airstrike has been called when you first thought that this was just a meaningless joke at the beginning. It's build up brilliant! I guess that the japanese influence of this video is the major thing bothering you.

rocketjump if you're wondering why you videos aren't doing as well it is because YOU STOPPED MAKING THEM. Back in the day you seemed to do much more with much less. You seem to have a very large crew now yet make fewer videos.

As to this being made as a response to the dislikes: Although that's definitely a reasonable theory, I doubt they could make this video (which was the best video rocketjump has made in many months) in such a short time! I also think they would have addressed the "past" viewership of the previous video if they had made this one since then.
