Well nobody should touch the timing if they don’t have to but sometimes the camshaft jumps a tooth, it breaks, you have to open the engine and the camshaft falls out, anything. Someone starting off in small engine repairs needs this info. I did.
Oh it will run if they’re not aligned you might just have some valves kissing the pistons ❤
