I loved the addition of the baking powder! The MDPC is actually my favorite but I was curious about the lack of baking powder so one day, I was just like 'what's the worst thing that could happen!?' I started adding it gradually a few cakes ago (1st I did 1/2 tsp, then 1 tsp)...yum, I tell ya!

This cake looks so delicious and moist. I know the cream cheese and the heavy whipping cream are 2 key ingredients that make this cake moist. I will definitely be trying this cake during either Thanksgiving or Christmas Holidays.

I made this cake today for my husband's birthday. It was very good. Please pay attention to her instructions for the caramel sauce. Burns easily. I would also cut the sauce ingredients by 1/2. Makes alot of sauce, way more than you need. Enjoy 💞

Hi Mansa Queen...I don't see salt listed so which butter is used? Salted or Unsalted? I used Unsalted & added 1/4 tsp salt to the dry...turned out fine but thought I'd check!
Hi Mansa....did you use whole milk or evaporated milk for the caramel?...I heard you say both. Also, I think I messed the cake and the glaze up....my glaze was a little grittyit tastes more like browned sugar. With the glaze when you left and came back and it was caramel already I didn't know what to do at that point.
