You rock up to a secluded beach/cove and the only way to get on thd beach is to get wet feet....not now ya just beach the bloody thing....what a fantastic idea.
These are really awesome boats... I sold used one over here in AUS... They are built very well, and drive fantastic... Not much maintenance on the tracks, alot can be done remotely, but parts can be difficult.... They are crazy expensive , like 1 million each.
Interesting to see how, known to me spots, find each other. I watched IGUANA YACHTS videos on UA-cam months ago, as well as YACHTS FOR SEAL. I really like it, keep it up.

Just install a shot gun pole up front with a grappling hook and start a honing for gators and make your little lady a new handbag for Christmas! Wahoooo what a invention!

@@IguanayachtsOfficial that's exactly right. I have a Sea legs boat currently and I no longer worry about toxic treatments on the bottom about it getting swamped on its Mooring or banging around on a dock. Let me ask you this. Name anything made by human beings that should be stored in the ocean. Case closed
Nice gadget but the long term maintenance will be murder. I have to ask if the tracks retract and what they are made of. The biggest concern would be hull breach and stress cracks.
The tracks retract into the hull which keeps the lines intact so no stress fractures. And it's surprisingly low maintenance. As she's stored on land its a lot less than a normal boat kept in a marina.
You should have asked if there is some way to disconnect the motors from the track because if you are in track mode and you are in some remote beach and it breaks down, you will be seriously screwed. Maybe not, but its just an observation.
Probably not workable on rocky beaches with uneven terrain. I saw a good deal of pitching even on that prepared beach sand. I LIKED the seating area and the potential cargo capacity.
Those tread controls are all wrong.... Both controls with on hand? Ever seen a tank or earth moving equipment like that? One for the left, one for the right. Maybe mount them on the top edges of the dash. Hang on with your palm and fingers to the corner and thumb controls where they fall to hand. Needs a redesign.
Agreed. The old computer world would say 'kluge.' Other commentators point to Sealegs technology. Much more refined and intuitive...plus a new-ish 100 model with better cabin space and onboard engines and drive. Well...costs may well not compare favorably but at 'superyacht' owner incomes, the value for the dollar is surely there.
Great for the U.S. market where you go to jail for 5000years coming close to any beach with a boat. Great businness model. Stay in Europe where there are so many poor people who cant afford this thing. Tough sell I suggest!
The boat can be operated by one person and land in waves of 4ft so it increases crew performance, Quick easy set up on beaches that can't always be accessed by other tenders.
After thinking about it Does it have a head below? How much room below ? And as I'm asking, what is it with you Boat guy's and amazing South African Women, I fallow another boat guy, and it seems to be a pattern, Now I feel like I wasted time on the video work I did....
Well, some critsm - on a high level: - Your chase boat is significant larger. - The chains seem to be a little bit small - if the beach is only a little bit softer - in wouldn't work any more. - The steering seemed to be on / off - there should be some stages between so you are able to drive it more gentle.
it's just missing nice details, leather, colors, textures... you know like a luxury boat that she is at this price point. An Axopar is more luxurious inside.
It's main use is for waterfront home owners... no need to drive to the marina, get a tractor, build a pontoon etc... But she does keep your feet dry too ;)
I think this would be awesome for awol, especially for food deliveries. No more lettuce in the sea!
That's one of its main purposes! She's used as a supply boat in the Caribbean and Europe on private islands and resorts.
Thanks Tristan for showing us more water toys. This boat with tank tracks is really a nice concept. Great job!
Awesome big boy toy!
Great idea for a chase boat!

Like the features of this boat including the retractable top. Really like the center console that was in the shot when you returned. Great review.

Kind of needs to be in a Venice Gondola style for James Bond...
i hope this is in the new James Bond movie.
They have one of them on Herm Island 🌴
Noice. I remember seeing Aquaholics video on it. Speaking of Andy B, where's our collab?
so what's the maintenance of the tracks like, salt water and sand i would think would wear it out pretty fast
Yes my thoughts exactly.
A lot of maintenance plus limited shorelines that can be transversed.
Why, to keep your feet dry?
Fortunately those who can afford it would probably just use few times a year.
It's actually a lot lower maintenance than a traditional boat as she is stored out of the water.

You would have to have some hard pack sand I would imagine. I don’t see this making it across the beach of some 4X4 areas in the USA…
Brilliant. I expected the tracks to retract into the dark part of the hull. They must create a huge drag if permanently out?
They do retract. They just don't show it i guess. Look at 0:30 , there are 2 arms on each track with one cilinder each.
They fold out. The black parts you see when in the water is the underside of the tracks.
@@BilldalSWE THANKS!
Second thought 🤔, had in over to the SBS (special boat service) and see what they can do with it, will it fit in the back of a Chinook 🚁

Valet parking on Rodeo Drive 🤦🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣 surely someone’s got to try it
Stupid question time. Why? Keep the client dry? That's it? Food deliveries via a pontoon and/or crew gets wet - big deal?
Not a stupid question. My view: one boat, many tasks. I come down on the social side of keeping crews dry and in comfortable berths.
The boat can be operated by one person and land in waves of 4ft so it increases crew performance, Quick easy set up on beaches that can't always be accessed by other tenders.
But it doesn't have the looks of a Lotus !

We've never had a track snap. They're made of a kevlar composite so are incredibly strong :)
it's ok but sea legs is the lead horse in the market
This suits the super yacht lifestyle but I agree about the Sea legs.
