Thank you for this video! If you have a customer that purchases something off your facebook group and not website are they able to use their shopify store credit when you send an invoice through shopify draft order since its not coming from the website? Thanks
your welcome. unfortunately, customer can only use store credit on online store and not draft order. we can expect for shopify to add this in future but it is not available right now.
How do we edit the approval return request text? The approval message keeps telling my customer I am providing the shipping label when I am not. THey are responsible for the shipping label cost
thanks. currently you cannot automate new store credit in backend nor in flow. there are api's (shopify.dev/docs/api/admin-graphql/unstable/mutations/storeCreditAccountCredit) which you will need a developer to work on. hopefully soon, shopify will release for flow so you can use backend to do so.
@@brianhui6658 unfortunately it does not. You will have to find a 3rd party to support this . They do have an affiliate program called Shopify collabs which you might want to look into
I noticed loads of boutiques (I am a new boutique owner too) are providing store credit only for refunds, even for people paying with credit card or other payments. how is it possible than when you're saying that store credit refund is only possible when customer paid with store credit? do you know by any chance?
What I hate about it is that there is no centralized control of the credit system. Lets say you want to give every customer 8% store credit to be used on the next order or accumulated in the account, set default global xpiration at 120 days and 30 days notification before expiration...I cant find anything that does that.
You’re right. It isn’t supported. You will have to find a 3rd party system that supports this. You might want to check about changing the logic to coupon based with the same logic
Thank you for the clear and detailed tutorial. Your video is the best explanation that I've found on store credit. Keep up the great work, subbed!
Glad it helped! And thanks for the compliment. It means a lot and helps me create more videos

on the website or in the emails?
Hello there nice video. Can you give some credits as an automation after someone has purchased from you? So that he can use it for his 2nd purchase

@@OhGames me too
does shopify have a referral function that gives store credit to referees and referred customers? without using third party apps

@@LuciaOlson-w7n most likely it is with other platforms and apps not the built in Shopify

Can you create credit on the POS?
Unfortunately, Store credit can't be used as a payment method on POS transactions. I can expect it to be available in future but not available now.
